- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system,data and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your internal SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash Gapps
- Reboot
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running stock crDroid-kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

Using it about 12h without problems.
GPS fix is kinda slow, but working.
When trying to mark some text, floating bar with copy etc is blinking/hiding and sometimes it's annoying to copy something.
Bluetooth works good, no problems with tone infinity

Has this rom fast charge working and the option to swap buttons ??

Can't pass the Android login screen. I keep getting the "Wrong password". Obviously I'm using the right password (my lockscreen PIN). No issues with any other ROM, be it MIUI or any other AOSP/CM based rom
Very fast and smooth rom. No bugs so far. Haven't installed Substratum yet.

That's due to encryption....am afraid you'll have to go to TWRP and format data once to get rid of encryption

There is a bug when I try to test disabling backlight button but now it is not turning on , the toggle works but nothing is happening and is there any option for vibration settings for lowering the intensity not phone calls i Could not find it

Ya backlight options has been noted it'll be fixed soon! Vibration settings is not there since this is AOSP based rom the implementation might take time

No problem here. Internal storage can be used both for applications and media. I flashed wuxianlin cm 13 patch too.

How to install Viper4Android
1. Install BusyBox ( I recommed this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.meefik.busybox ) and within app "Install" it

3. Flash V4A 2.5.0.5.zip in TWRP
4. Reboot

1) Does Live display, Ambient Display and Substratum working?
2) Rooted? (Magisk or SU)
3) Support any Sound Mod like Dual Speaker Sound Mod Version 18 or Version 19 latest one?
4) Which Kernal Version did you used?

1. Live display works, Ambient display worked when I've got notification and yeah substratum works
2. Magisk is recommended but SuperSU also works
3. Not by default (built in) also did not try
4. Default kernel that is also in LOS or RR for example
MAJOR PROBLEM
After Flash Phone is opened but at the starting after language choose the next steps is not forwrding. its says system ui is not reaponding. i tried 3 times. Still same Popup message. Give Solution. Thanks.

Don't have device to test right now, but it must be like on LineageOS
However you might test and report back your results maybe
Thanks for great ROM, always loved crDroid. Phone overheats a lot, fingerprint acts strange, sometimes work but in most cases don't.
I wanted to assign HTC camera to double tap on home button, but there is no possibility to assign an action to launch own app.

im not 100% sure but i think fast chargin works by hardware, it is working on most (if not all) AOSP roms

Because after installing this rom, it takes 10h to charge to 100% which is just ...

Got it to work. Faulty plug .-.
Thanks a lot for this new ROM. Did a clean flash with gapps pico. Looking pretty nice.
But I can't access the data on the external sdcard from my W7 PC, it's just empty.
I remember from reading that there is at least one solution, but I can't find it anymore.
Can somebody help me to access sdcard?
@gwolfu there is no option for the cLock(weather) on the lock screen ?? ... otherwise excellent rom!!
Stupid me. To get access to sdcard with pc you just have to eject it once.

Settings - security - screen lock click the cog icon and enable show weather

First time installing crDroid to your s5 mini, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Copy GApps and crDroid zip to your external SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system,data and cache
- Flash crDroid zip
- Flash GApps zip
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
- Copy crDroid ZIP to your external SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Wipe system and cache

I didnt test, but I think the colour was changed in the repository of our device so all ROMs should have it. No guarantee though since I didn't look at the problem.

Yes
This is the first rom that gives me a bootloop. I clean wiped, installed the thre zips (rom, gapps, super su), flashed cahe and dalvik and rebooted. Then it statrts up showing "crdroid" for a long time. Then screen goes black.

I flashed this without a problem some time ago. Try without flashing SuperSU.

* Wipe of Dalvik Cache and Cache not demanding, only necessary in some situations advised on update post, be aware wiping the caches can cause problem is some random occasion, if problem after a wipe of the caches happens do a clean install
** Gapps not demanding the ROM works perfect without it and there is ways to have play to work without gapps. In a ROM updates "dirty flash" if you have gapps always flash gapps again after the ROM update

Hi, I've just installed crdroid - it feels great, everything is working fine and smooth, except NFC - it doesn't seem to work, it's not even present in settings... Quick tile doesn't do anything, NFC tools app gives me an error with NFC. Can anyone help me?

Hi, it is possible to use stock camera (blurry background with dual camera). I Cant make it, even after istall via twrp port of rom, it wont work. (Dual camera zoom work perfectly)

Just flash the new zip. Don't wipe anything.

Thank you for the ROM. Had been stick to this ROM as it is update frequently.
1 bug: after patched the hosts file with the build in adaway app, the Google drive cannot connect to server. WhatsApp backup to Google drive failure as well.
