my optimus g is with problem - LG Optimus G (International)

good day personal, my cell phone has a problem and can not solve.
often the device turns itself off, entering a kind of standby, where the screen goes black and lit buttons. But do not do anything, I have to reincia it, which often can only with the connection with the USB.
sometimes also the applications close one by one, this process stopped ... until the phone get the dark screen.
someone knows how to solve?

Maybe just try to install another rom.

Have you tried a reset? Otherwise, install a custom ROM.

Sounds like a software bug. Use a custom rom!

when turning mda3 on backlight is working but the screen not

just get a mda3 with a problem
sometimes when i switching the phone on (power button) the backlight is working but the screen remains black so i can't se anything. the phone is working, i can browse the folders, i hear all the sounds but the screen remains black! after a while hes working again.
does anybody had the same problem? and how can i solve the problem?((((
have u tried a hard reset? ive never had this problem so i dont know, tho i guess if u sync with pc and save all all your wanted files and do a hard reset, it may sort it.
i've already tried hard reset, rom updating etc...
the problem is still there...((
i've switch "turn off the phone after 3 minutes" off, maybe it would help...
because problem was appearing most of the time if device was lying for 10-20 minutes without working...
update: nope, it's still black(
Think you have a bad device. A problem that is know is that the backlight will turn itself of (but you can still see the screen). This is some times the case with mine and I have the 1.40 rom, however I have had this problem with other roms so it must be some software that I use.
i'm also thinking so...
now i noticed that if you turn the device on and get a black screen, if you wait a minute he will switch the screen on. but why?

Xperia Arc S, big problem

Well here it is, my Xperia Arc S originally had a problem where the display kept turning itself on so i did some reading and apparently it might have been some software, so i tried doing a factory reset and that didn't work. So i tried flashing it on Flashtool but then i realised i couldn't because everytime i turned my phone off it would turn itself back on so i couldn't put it in boot mode. And now i can't even get past the Sony Ericsson logo when i boot up so i think of anything to do now because i can't flash it and turn it on. Please can someone help me.
Side note i did drop my phone in water a few weeks ago and there were problems with it booting but i thought it was resolved because they disappeared.

Phone cannot turn on itself. Unless you have charging cable attached and it goes to charging mode.

UPDATE: I was able to flash 4.0.4 firmware onto the phone after repeatedly trying to get it into flash mode but the problem still remains, the display keeps turning on by itself and whenever i switch the phone off i hear a small vibration and it turns itself on (with no charger attached), i'm thinking there might be a problem with the power button but i'm not sure.
bump
Does the button act any other way than normal?

You mean does it feel different? Like the clicking? It feels fine to me, plus when i'm using the phone the screen doesnt just turn off, its only when i put the phone to sleep it turns the display back on and then it turns off again and so on. It behaves as it should when i press it
I didnt drop it in water on purpose, i meant i dropped it and there were issues with it booting up, i left it in rice overnight and it was fine the next day

[Q] Phone stuck in screensaver mode

Hi!
I brought my Xperia Play phone USED two years ago and I've never had any problems with it.
However, recently, the phone has started to freeze itself in "screensaver" mode (Where the screen goes black after 15 seconds and locks the phone), but the screen won't light up no matter which button I press. I've had to restart the phone every time this happens.
It's been behaving strange at start up as well, as it sometimes take 20 minutes just for it to turn on, while on other occasions, it won't turn on at all!
Is this problem caused by the battery, or is it the hardware?
Is it with stock firmware?

Yes.
I've never modded it or installed custom firmware/apps.
Have you tried factory resetting it?

Yes, but it didn't fix it. The problem still occurs.
tldr: Black screen, no display, everything works "under" (I can answer the phone etc). Not a flex cable problem because occurs randomly, regardless of the slider being open or closed. The problem also occurs during boot up, so rather not a software problem.
I think I have something similiar. Everything was fine until a few days ago the screen didn't want to unlock..or at least I thought it was that.
Basically the phone sometimes works OK but sometimes if I turn off (lock) the screen, it won't go back. To be precise, the phone works and if someone calls me I can pick it up moving the finger where the slider should be, it's just the display doesn't turn on. Same goes for booting, bootloader logo etc, so IMO it's not a software problem.
Strange thing is that it just randomly pops back, sometimes when I move the gamepad slider, sometimes when I put in a jack cable or if I hard reset the phone (remove battery). I've had problems with the flex cable in the past and this time I know that it's not it (no difference if I open/close the slider).
My guess would be some power supply or LCD driver IC issues, because the screen stops working almost everytime if I put the phone into the dock. Moreover, if the screen doesn't work, the orange charging LED is not working (green and blue are OK). The moment the screen starts working, the orange charging LED starts working too.
it's very strange but I'm used to electronics doing strange stuff. Just wondering if I should give a try disassembling the phone and trying to fix it or just buy a new one or something?
I might add that I have bought a new battery ~3 months ago, but it's been working fine to this point. I have tried if the same problem occurs with the old/original battery and it's the same.
well, any ideas?
edit: This video shows something very similiar (except the backlight): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4p0-kv1cxA
Same problem. And I guess this guy has it too.

Any help?

LG Optimus G Pro turns off automatically.

So one night, i slept without plugging the phone to charging, and music was on via handsfree.
When I woke up, it was showing the warning to use correct battery.
And since then, it keeps turning off automatically and randomly during use, and sometimes refuses to go ahead of boot screen.
This happened on stock KitKat 4.4.2
I have tried Hard Reset, as well as another Custom ROM, but none seems to fix the problem.
Even if battery is at 80%, this problem occurs.
I don't know what to do.
Please help.

My phone shut off after few seconds it turned on,and sometimes restart without let pin selection for sim appear,so i really don't have time to do anything. But i repeat,i can"play"in recovery mode without problem, and phone doesn't turn off.Sorry for my bad english
Seems I solved it myself...
Turned out to be a problem with the battery.
So I jump-shocked it.
And voila, now it works like a charm.

Black Screen

When I was using this phone the screen suddenly turned black. No powering off or anything, the phone was nearly fully charged anyway. Nothing seems to be working anymore. I tried turning it back on but it's completely unresponsive. It won't even charge anymore. I was wondering if there was any solutions to this and if other people where having this problem or did my phone just brick itself
Are you able to get to the bootloader? by pressing volume + and power at the same time. It may be worth trying to flash stock also. I am no expert its just what I would try.

Of course I did. But at no avail. Today, I found out, that the new screen is partially working. I can see very dark picture, it means, I have no back light. Tried to set it up from engineers mode, but no luck.
So the new screen is on, but without back light, and the phone heats pretty much in the top area.

If so. Try to pull down the statusbar and swipe a bit under the statusbar line, in the top of the screen from left to right, with some luck you will tap the brightness switcher

I can connect to the phone through Vysor, and when I change the brightness level there, there is no change at all. The Phone does not react to any settings change at all.
Tried eragon rom, but still no change....

Better hope you still have your garantie, because theres legit no way to restore it. You just have to send it back for it to get fixed. This happened to me once and yesterday twice. sadly I am to dissapointed from this. I am never buying an Elephone again ! PS bro it isnt worth sending this hell of a **** peace back. It costs and the blackscreen thing is gonna happen again in 6-8 months. SO go out there and buy yourself a real phone not this bull****. I have to do the same rn.

Just happened to me with my 3 year old phone. Left overnight with enough charge. Pressed the side button and nothing - held it down to restart and then complete blank.
Repalced the battery about 1 month ago with one from AliExpress for £5.
So using the kit provided with the battery or a watchmakers screwdriver - undo the 12 tiny screws and remove the white surround and then the inner back with the phone's number on it. Next disconnect the battery socket but be careful as it is tiny - use a torch and magnifier if vision not good. Remove the sim card. Wait 10 minutes - did this with the blue light flashing - it stopped finally on disconnection.
Put it all back together and hey presto fully working phone
