Yelp NOT updating the WP7 app anytime soon, but actively hiring for more mobile devs

A question was asked on yelp's Facebook page, "Will yelp be updating the Windows Phone 7 app anytime soon??".
The answer: "Unfortunately, not in the near timeframe. Believe it or not, we're still a very small team and as such, our priorities lie with the platforms that see the most engagement (iPhone and Android) BUT, we are actively hiring for more mobile developers, so if you know anyone, please send them our way and I'll also tell our team we have some eager folks out there who'd appreciate an update."
Not the answer I was looking for. I thought I would share this information here to create buzz and/or maybe a developer might be looking for an opportunity with yelp.
I miss checking in, uploading images, and writing reviews on the mobile app for yelp that I had used previously on the iPhone and Android and hoping to get this updated on the WP7. Anyone else wanting an update for yelp?
Edit: Can someone please post this link (facebook.com/yelp/posts/110435869032330?notif_t=share_reply) I'm new here and it won't allow me to link it.
Maybe they should provide proper APIs like other social networks so we don't have to rely on their small team -_-

It is ready back end server for mobile app developers. For example save/query user data , save location information or retrieve saved locations that is in a specified area etc. Our goal is to build an easy to use, complete set of server side functionality for mobile app developers so they can go to market faster without worrying server side.
Sent PM but will be good if you can answer here.

Thanks , Actually all the details are on our web site appEasify.com , I am not sure if I am allowed to post links . This will be a paid service but beta testers will enjoy free limited service(and details for this is also on the web site). This is WP7 only for now, we have a WP7 client that talks to our Azure web service. Clients for other platforms will follow. The API details are on the web site under developers section.

If xda were based on bootstrap

Hello everyone!
I'm a 17 years old guy, who is trying to be a proffessional designer and developer. For the moment, i'm just an amateur.
My knowledges are: HTML & CSS and i'm trying to expand them it.
So, just for fun, i made a XDA sub-forum based on bootstrap.
http://dm5.com.ar/forum/
I just want to know, what they think. And, in a near future, if a designer can make a usable theme for vBulletin.
PS: Check the user section, and the 'Quick Links' section, it has dropdown.
Looks really nice and clean. I haven't used bootstrap but I hear it is a good base to work from.
When designing the 2013 theme we originally tried to use pure CSS, but the way vBulletin is set up made it very difficult.
We are working on a mobile 2013 theme. If you are interested and want to send a sample, we would love to see it. We have the beginning done but need to flesh it out so that all functions work on a mobile browser. My current thinking is that http://jquerymobile.com/ would be a good way to go.
Keep up the good work, you'll be a developer in no time!
Unfortunately bootstrap, jquery mobile are over bloated..
I wanted to try jQuery Mobile on a mobile site but I've decided that the best way is to build out a mobile template "in-house". The users with poor phones and slow connection will thank you. Both parts saves lot of bandwidth.
I know.. I like the flexibility, functionality, animations of jQuery Mobile but it takes too much precious space (& bandwidth)..
Additionally you can make two mobile interfaces: one for old phones and one for top notch smartphones.

Yea, sometimes is better to create a crossbrowser site from scratch.

Android application data

Hi all,
Thanks your help first. I am new to android development. I would like to develop a small offline dictionary on my mobile. I don't know how to save the data for my app. I would like to save the data with my app in my mobile. I am using android mobile. I don't know how to do that. Please may someone give some suggestions.
Thanks
Hello Firstly welcome to the forum!!
For creating an app you have to hire an Android application developer or you can discuss with the person with the depth knowledge of android development. There are many websites and companies, through which you can create your app.
Thanks
