Not sure about that, as at this moment, there's only 2 Dev is working on our phone, so, I won't give hope so much???. Its even hard for us to get one dev for our device. There is one newly born Dev on the way, working on cm13. See if he can help you. His name @osas I believed.

I could did cm13 for this device but;
first) in next weeks.
seconds) I need volunteers to test the rom
third) consider in a small donation after the hard work if want to keep update this phone.
-----------------------
I port ubuntu touch successfully on i9105p and got worked boot image and [email protected] , I'll work on kernel to fix LXC to get worked UI, so once finish I could did on i9082 too which are same phone.

Does i9105p have same spec with i9082? I've been looking the most similar device for a while now, for porting slimpop or Blisspop. Makes porting job easier, right?

That happens when you use grand kernel...Use s2 plus kernel and modify d ram disk(use grand kernel as d reference point for making changes)
The only problem I'm facing while porting rom from s2 plus to grand is outgoing and incoming calls reboot issues(miui v7, RR 6.0 etc)

[Development][Port] CyanogenMod 7/Oxygen for the Galaxy W

***this thread is made strictly for development purposes so that any developer can join up and help the development of a working port of this for the Galaxy Wonder***
Okay at this point in time I'm trying to make an hard port (the easy way) of CM7 by trying to make a generic build of CM7, then bundling it with Arco68's kernel and afterwards fix the libs and whatnot.
I've already managed to compile the generic build and am now playing around to create a working .ZIP file.
Update 1 : ZIP install fine, but no boot, at least for now. Time to play a little
Update 2: Hm, weird. I was convinced this was gonna work. I'm most likely missing some Samsung patches and **** that generic builds don't have. Going back to the drawing board.
Update 3: While I go into theories about how I should go about CM7, I'm also downloading the sources for Oxygen, because I prefer it over CM7. That way I can study both.
Right on bring it on !

Since hard porting was getting me nowhere, I decided to try the hard way and I'm currently making a vendor and device config manually. I'm basing it on YardE's awesome work on the Galaxy S Plus front. At least it saves me some work, but there is still a whole lot to do.

Good luck with that considering we have zero basis to work on and building a ROM from source. If you achieve the miracle of building a 'vendor' folder that actually compiles, tell me. That tutorial assumes you have a vendor config that works for your device.
Anyways good luck. I'm still trying to make a working vendor folder.

You might be able to find those files at Arco's Github.
https://github.com/arco/android_device_samsung_ancora
The above link does contain a file called " setup-makefiles.sh"
You might also want to look at the following:

Porting Firefox OS

I'm looking for a dev team to port firefox OS to loads of devices, you need to have know git yes I'm posting it on my teams git-hub page. I'm keeping this short coz I can't think of anything. Apart from this
Important: Only devices running at least Android 4 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich) are supported. If your device is listed above but running an older version of Android, please update it before doing anything.

all of patch is going to samsung, another way is make a custom rom like @wulsic doing
about news Kitkat for another Samsung device is stuck on S3 (i think),cause the lastest news i read is ,new touchwhiz launcher cannot run correctly on S3 with 1 gb of ram,and we should patient cause when S3 is not have Kitkat ,and we too not have way ,cause we have 512 mb of ram
Note:
you can check the lastest firmware for fame on www.sammobile.com,and go to tab firmware
When kitkat was released there were leaks that showed that Fame might get the update because it was supposed to support mid/low -end devices, but as we can see there are no updates.. i'll never get another samsung phone again, it's just my second and it's the last.

Well i still need to make a good working kernel for the kitkat cm11 rom just be patient  i also contacted somebody else who is working on almost the same thing as me but he is further so i asked for advice with the kernel since the source is also 4.1.2 or he also knows a bit wether which patches need to be applied cause it will be faster then that i need to find everything myself since i am not a real kernel dev xd.
But yeah you can try to flash it but yeah... Rom doesnt boot yet but i think before the summervacation it might boot, or yeah my summer vacation is started next week i thought or the week after idk

Im not sure but i thought the guy in the video with that rom was using cwm 6.0.4.6 so... i thought that that version wasnt able to flash kitkat roms so yh.... I want to be 100% sure so im downloading itnow since guys with bad internet connection need to download hours to get the rom and i only around 3 minutes.
EDIT: Like i thought just 4.1.2 stock rom with kitkat theme a bit and edited settings to have more features and android version was 4.4.2 it said but in the fingerprint(Also for playstore neccesary) was 4.1.2)
The guy who made the rom has based it on the Latin stock rom 4.1.2(http://terafile.co/3395503ca6cc)

And Kitkat is supposed to support low/mid - end devices? Probably Touchwiz but that explains how Google is able to release new versions of android and make them available as updates almost immediately on nexus devices. Im making a google kitkat experience rom but since no kitkat available for our device I have to use jelly bean as base. (Techno rom) Too complete it all I need is to change status bar and boot animation. And UI if possible because I'm new to making roms and this is my first. Any help is appreciated.

Ok this is a topic for discuss on the porting of cyanogenmod 13 to our devices...i think that the porting is very easy to do because the only differnce between s6 and s6 edge plus are the screen and ram.
I try to boot cm (s6 version) but it doesen't boot .

Just some int.d build.prop and permission twicks witch I used to port stuff on my old exynos s5,Im sure someone else tryed this but I need to know 100% that the g920 or g925(there is cm for that) cyanogen kernel does NOT brick our device and that it can still be resored via odin.Again this is an very expensive piece of equipment and my JTAG station just died last week.So I really am not in the mood for bricks now
EDIT:Why people say there is no source code everything I needed for porting could be found at opensource.samsung.com

I hope I would be able to help , mate ... because this is what I prefer to experiment on because there are newer devices with the same characteristics which are so much more active than ours ... I'm thinking of making a compatible kernel for P601 users and P605 users to make it compatible for them to migrate to other ROM developing devices ( It's okay if you are confused about it because I am too and theoretically it shouldn't be possible for these to boot the ROMs of each other ... While they appear to do so  ) I'm actually currently too busy to develop a new modified kernel for you people but hopefully in the break between semesters ... but , first , let's see what happens till then ... I'm so craving to get into Med school

On both ports in 605 the problems will be the same, because I did not change the kernel. Init scripts were changed, but not the kernel\dts.
P555 port almost done, my child today finished exams, I finally have time and can read and reply to all the messages. I think that by the end of the week I will find the time, I will build the right kernel for 605.
