Called AT&T, told them I had read about people recently getting the S3 from them for $99 but they were at $199. Would they offer any deals/price matching. Said she could not but gave me a $70 credit towards my "purchase", which actually came off of last months bill. Went to Sam's and bought the phone for $148, 6% sales tax brought me to ~$157. All said and done, this made my purchase, on contract, be $87.
Off contract - would try Ebay, craigslist, or swappa.
off contract price new is lowest at AT&T $549 plus tax.
Used on craigs list will be around $400

Not true, I bought my brand new white GS3 a couple of months ago from ebay for $475 with $10 shipping. You just have to keep an eye out on "Buy it now" newly listed items. I find that people that list with buy it now tend to just want to get quick cash, and don't care about getting top dollar. Always make sure you check out their feedback and always deal through PayPal.
Some list the buy it now listings with best offer options for lower prices too. Just stay away from the auctions.

I'm in a really tight spot, my sister pre-order the iphone 5 at radio shack and they made her purchase a gift card for $50, to buy the iphone 5 when its in store. Now I'm thinking of her getting the SIII. However, I don't want to her to pay for $200 for an SIII when I know radio shack had it for $100 not too long ago. Do you think I should just make her buy the iphone 5?

I traded mine straight up for a s3. Gotta be patient. I had to pass a lot of deals. The S3 has a lot of hype, so people want a lot for it. But the One X is great. Id do 100 max if you had too.

You can pick it up for around £440 on amazon. Which is a full £100 cheaper than it was a month ago.
Amazon the best.

I noticed the Amazon prices, but the sellers aren't fullfilled by Amazon. Do you think I would have any probs if I had to return it under warranty as Amazon direct are really good with returns but their own price is £509 atm.

Yeah....but I don't know about spending 60 bucks on a case for a 200 dollar phone
Its beautiful don't get me wrong and I would love to be given one or something , but I don't think I will be buying this also because it is being released months after the phone came out

It was 200 on contract when it first came out though, he probably got it on contract like most of us did. I could never get away with buying a phone at retail, my girlfriend would punch me in the neck

If we're talking subsidised prices then ALL phones are 200-300 dollars and therefore NONE are worth a $70 case. It's a 500+ dollar phone.

Pretty sure losing something doesn't fall under standard warranty. I think you can get a new spen for 30$
It's worth a try to ask I guess. If not you can buy a replacement on amazon.

they will send you a replacement first, the replacement should not come with an s pen so they will not expect one back. It also will not come with a battery, backplate or charger.
So you LOST the spen and want to file a warranty claim as opposed to just buying a replacement from Amazon?? Too funny... good luck with that...
Fyi.. they check the contents on the back end so when the pen is missing they will charge you for it and who knows what inflated price you'll get hit with.

I was wondering because I noticed moto 360 price went down but I don't know if I should wait for the 2nd gen! I'm stumped right now! ( I know the watch is good! And all I just want to know if I should wait or go for it!)

I picked up the moto 360 for 80 bucks from best buy and love it. I honestly didn't know about the 2nd Gen version around the corner until after I bought it but this is a great introductory to android wear for me.

There was a Bestbuy sale for the moto 360 for $179.
They also had a promo going on where you got $100 back for buying a moto 360 and ANY android phone.
The promo worked for a $39 prepaid phone.
$179 + $39 - 100 = $118
You could then use a movers coupon for an additional 10% off.
You could then use a student discount for $25 off.
You could then also price match the prepaid phone from walmart at @29
All said and done it was like $75 after taxes for a watch and phone, and you could return the phone for $29 back if you were an ass.
Never wait to buy technology because you'll wait forever.
Next year there will be a newer version. FOREVER.
Next year this model will be cheaper. FOREVER.
