[USERS CAN REQUEST][TUTORIAL]Motorola Defy Mini XT320/XT321 Custom SBF with fastboot

Hey Defy Mini Users, I've been able to make custom SBF's and include fastboot and Bootloader 01.0a in them.
Refer to this post for a new way to root Defy Mini XT320/XT321 for those without fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=46445136&postcount=41
Refer to this post if you don't understand on how to root Defy Mini XT320/XT321: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48952575&postcount=70 Thanks to @jonaut
Request which firmware you want me to do and I will do it for you.
Now you don't need to do Alin Razvan method anymore to obtain fastboot. This method is based on @ManOLCZ method. So credits to him for the original method. I went a step further by including an older bootloader. Bootloader 01.0a can fix battery charging issues if you are not using original Defy Mini Battery and it is the native bootloader for fastboot mode.
How to get Bootloader 01.0a and fastboot on Motorola Defy Mini XT320/XT321 SBF:
1. Download the attachments below.
2. Extract all the zip files
3. Open Motorola Android Depacker and select the button 'Open From file' and select the SBF file for your phone and open it.
4. Click on the button 'Split to folder' to split your desired SBF file.
5. Now select the button 'Open from File' and change the selection of file type to 'MOTOBLUR mbn image (*CG2.smg)' go to the folder called nameofsbf-extracted which contains CG2.smg and open it.
NOTE: nameofsbf-extracted this means the name of the SBF file with the word extracted at the end. Here's an example: TNBST_4_0A.1F.0ERPS_flex_WE_Orange_Spain-extracted
6. Now go to the folder CG2-Extracted to and replace the files with the one from the 2nd attachment.
7. Now go to Motorola Android Depacker and select 'Open Files Folder' and select the folder named CG2-Extracted.
8. Select 'compile file' and it should be place in a folder named rebuilt
9. Now copy the custom CG2.smg to folder with the files named 'firmware.hmg' and 'RAMDLD.smg'
10. Now open SBF Recalc and select the button 'Open CG-Folder' and select where CG2.smg, firmware.hmg and RAMDLD.smg are.
11. Now select 'Create SBF-File' and wait for a moment. Now wait a moment and your custom SBF file will be created.
12. Your SBF is now ready to be flashed with RSD-Lite.

Actually that Nordics .sbf was compiled on the same day as TNBST_4_0A.1F.49RPS_flex_WE_Orange_Spain_v24.sbf so those two are most recent.

The advantages is that it accepts any battery for Defy Mini, fixes battery charging issues when you use another battery and it is the native bootloader for fastboot.

Thanks for the quick reply. I already saw this firmware in another xda-developers thread but did not download because the flex version does not match with mine, but if you say this is ok then it is ok for me too, after all you are the experts. Just a little question: is this firmware already modified to have the fastboot from the beginning or do I have to follow the tuto and build it for myself?
Again thanks for you help.

Please install .NET Framework for Windows XP.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851
This is because you haven't installed it on your computer and it requires it.
Thanks man :victory: . After several times I installed the respective .net framework for the public pc I was using, built the custom sbf and flashed it to my phone. Now I am looking for an easy method to root my phone, any suggestion?
If you flashed a custom sbf with fasboot on your mini, all you need to root it is simply apply update.zip via CWM (leo0 method).

[Guide] How To Create TWRP from Mediatek Stock Recovery

Hello guys...
We all know that a custom recovery is far more important thing i rooted phone. But since we're talking about mediatek, its hard to find a suitable recovery.
Now these days, its very easy to create CWM based recovery through Mtkdroidtools. But,CWM is quite a oldschool yo!!
But TWRP is awesome!! Cuz its touch based and far more easy to use...but its so hard to find mediatek TWRP,so this guide will be helpfull i guess!!
~~Requirements~~
1.A computer with Windows 7 32 bit
2.The stock recovery.img[it can be found in your phone's stock rom]
3.TWRP script>>
Download link>> htt p://www .me diafire.com/folder/ca6 n5bb8 ocu87/TWRP_an d_CWMR
Download "Port-TWRP-V2.4.4.0-MT6589.7z" file from that link!!!
Now extract that 7z file and put the folder in your computer's C:// drive.....and put your stock recovery.img in C:// too.
Now open That extracted folder and you'll see a .exe file. Run that file as administration and a command window will appear.
Now it'll ask you to put your recovery.img in C:// and that is already done. So press Enter and follow the next steps. It'll ask you too put your device's chipset,resolution....so enter correctly.
When it is all done, close that Window and you'll see a folder is created called "Ported TWRP" open it and you'll get your newly created TWRP recovery.img. Copy that in your sdcard and flash it via latest Mobile Uncle Tools and voila!! You'll be rebooted to your TWRP custom recovery!!!!!
N.B>> this process is only for mt6577,mt6589 and mt6575.
Hit thanks if you like it.

[Q&A] ASUS Fonepad 7 K00E ME372CG - looking for correct files for xFSTK

Please, where can I find ME372CG files for xFSTK?
I want to restore bootloader of my ME372CG tablet.
I follow these instructions, which are for FE170CG:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/asus-fonpad-7-fe170cg-bricked-stuck-t3740819
But I did not find ME372CG files for xFSTK.
So I took them from official Asus ME372CG firmware (from UL-K00E-WW-7.6.0.0-user.zip).
I found different file names in ifwi folder and I am not sure, which to use fo xFSTK:
dnx_fwr_ctp_???.bin
ifwi_ctp_???.bin
CLVP_CSAB_FWR_DnX_20.29.bin
ME372CG_32_IFWI_v54.57_CSAB_PROD.bin
I could not find any Softfuse file either.
Most probably I do not have the correct files, because xFSTK download does not work.
The file names, which I used, and the result from xFSTK can be found here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cz8imzdrs1r551r/xFSTK_ME372CG files.JPG?dl=0
Where can I find the correct files for xFSTK?
Thank you very much.
Greetings from Slovakia

Cause of malfunction:
My tablet reported some kind of UI error, so I restarted it (still within Android),
but it never started again. It just vibrates when switching on, always black screen (only almost unnoticeable flash of light on LCD, during switching on). The battery is full - I measured it.
Use this file, run as Administrator ME372CG Debrick.bat and connect your device.

After that flash this raw file with asus flash tool and make sure to select right model name.

Hi, I received some suggestions from Teddy, but it did not work for me.
(I re-uploaded the files to Dropbox, so the links should work):
1. Download this zip: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1s5i85hd22yqlct/CSC_ME372CG_Debrick.7z?dl=0
2. Extract with 7-zip on your Desktop
3. Open extracted CSC_ME372CG_Debrick file ---> Right click on ME372CG Debrick.bat left click on Run as Administrator. And it should look like this:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/e3yulpxt70rn6ly/non-Administrator ME372CG Debrick.bat.png?dl=0
If that doesn't show up install this minimal adb and fastboot command
https://www.dropbox.com/s/zgr1ljdm13owlrs/minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.4.1_setup.exe?dl=0
Here is tutorial how to install:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
4. If the tool doesn't recognise your device press VOL + or VOl - and connect your device with pc while you are holding one of volume buttons.....

After I informed Teddy that it does not work for me,
he suggested this:
See this tutorial for another device to get the point, reinstall drivers and try again debrick files. Softfuse file I can't find for your device but with debrick.bat is trick for seconds I thing to get recognized to start flashing partition and firmware....

I tried that but it didn't work. Actually it's because we lost fastboot and droidboot.
About those xFSTK files, we can acquire them from rom (zip/raw). there is a zip file called "ifwi.zip" in the rom package.
I follow this tutorial to debrick it but I didn't make it:crying:
