Stuck in bootloop after latest update - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Gidday
To say I am a pissed off ASUS customer is an understatement...only just got my Zenfone 2 back a couple of weeks ago after getting the motherboard replaced as the camera was stuffed...and now today after applying an update the phone got stuck in a boot loop and I cant for the life of me get it back working again...
Can anyone point me in the direction to the steps to recovering the phone via sideloading the original firmware? I am able to access recovery mode and have attempted to re-install the firmware using the ASUS flash tool but I keep getting the error message that the serial number is incorrect,
cheers

Have you rooted your phone and then applied ota??? If yes, then its likely to get bootlooped.
Download stock recovery from official site for your model and flash it via fastboot

[Q] LG G3 keeps looking for network

Hi there
I just tried flashing the Cloudy G 2.3 for the LG G3 but it failed somehow. (Idk why Ill ask on thr discussion on that post) My phone got bricked and I flashed a Nandroid backup I made just before I tried flashing it. Everything works fine but somehow my phone now keeps looking for networks. This second I have 4 stripes and is connected to my provider (HEMA its a Dutch provider) and then it says no network. And the next second its searching for networks. 4 stripes again and the whole story keeps repeating itself . How do I fix this i tried rebooting and going in and out of airplane mode.
Please help me!

Oops that's really bad.. Sorry about that.. Usually things like this get fixed by reset. Are you quite sure it's a bug? Your sim, is it properly seated? Can't think of anything right now.

Best would be if you could do a fresh install of your firmware using the flash tool ie. the cse flash. Do you have your firmware file downloaded somewhere? Another option I can think of is repairing using the LG PC suite. You may like to consider these options.

Please, need help! Got stuck in a error loop after trying intall slim!

Hey guys, just received my phone today and I cannot get pass through this erro msg...
Tried pretty much everything and still getting the msg, already wiped the system, tried the recovery mode, nothing works... problem is, I cant access the celphone memory since its internal :\ is my phone dead?
What error message? Did you unlock the bootloader? Are you rooted and do you have custom recovery? Need to know how you got to where you are now, step by step.

I rooted my devide and then I tried instal the slim via TEMPORARY CWM which I think was my mistake all the way...
After I installed the slim rom the device gave me the option to restart which I accept and from that point I got the error msg with the android laying down and the "Erro!" msg...
Cannot get pass from that point, tried everything and I'm start to geting worried.... I cannot even access the sd card from another device since there is no sd card :|
sorry about my bad english...
Edit: I managed to enter in the recovery mode, already tried the wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition and nothing seem to work... still receiving the erro msg... I'm out of option man, I'm kinda new to this root/rom stuff and I think I got screwed in my first attempt :\
Edit 2: there is a ADB option, apply update from ADB, is there anything I can do with this option? I already dowloaded I stock version from the android...
You have 2 options, 1. Sideload from stock recovery the full zip of stock Rom or 2. flash via bootloader, w/adb sideload make sure you are on (adb 1.0.32) or it won't flash, if you choose bootloader option refer to the flash WW from CN tutorial located here in xda or search in chinaphonearena for shakalaka tutorial

Believe me, I'm since 1 am trying to fix this problem (its 5am)...

Hi guys
I have an idea
All h815 roms work on h815p this means these models have same kernel and bootloader
Your phone must be root
Enable oem unlock on developer option
Download twrp.img
Thanks @Dees_Troy
Flash twrp.img with flashfire
Now maybe u have recovery mod
This method is for test but it don't kill the phone

I installed the OTA update and then Odin TWRP and then flashed super SU. Root is working just fine for me and still sticking after reboots.
You installed the latest security update OTA (190mb) and then Odin TWRP? It didn't seem to affect my installation of TWRP or at least I was able to get into recovery as before. Install SuperSU as before with no errors. Reboot and no root or SuperSU. May have to do a complete reinstall tonight. Glad to know root can still work after this little update.
Solved: installing the latest SuperSU 2.71 worked without a hitch, root restored

Hey, this is the forum is all about.
I did want to ask only in koops thread, but well, not much answer there. So i ask only once again here, definitely not every thread available.
Moreover, everyone's phone could have its own issues, which need troubleshoots. Not all are the same.
I have installed twrp so many times for so many phones, so that i know that might be something else.
Im using twrp 3.0.2-0 in koops thread on pd2 well, but it didnt work on pd3. So what might be wrong here?

I've had this issue everywhere tho. It does seem to be related to switching from 3G to LTE. But I can't say for certain that each and every time it dropped, that when it came back it was a different service.

Hi Guys,
I have a Note 7(Australia-Vodafone) it is stuck in bootloop and loads onto bootloader. I tried to flash the Vodafone, Australia firmware through odin and also tried to use the smartswitch to help me get my phone back to life, but no success. Please help me.
It was never rooted or for that matter, the USB Debugging was also turned off
In the bootloader I get the following error,
dm-verity verification failed..
Need to check DRK first.
TIA
