[twrp]h815p[test] - G4 Android Development

Only h815p
Hi guys
I have an idea
All h815 roms work on h815p this means these models have same kernel and bootloader
Your phone must be root
Enable oem unlock on developer option
Download twrp.img
Thanks @Dees_Troy
Flash twrp.img with flashfire
Now maybe u have recovery mod
This method is for test but it don't kill the phone
I don't have h815p
Thanks @Dees_Troy for recovery.img

That might be a risk. Can it work on the USA model?

Bender is pretty experienced with getting these workarounds going...it may not work but if he says it won't brick his word is trustworthy.

It was my jumping to a conclusion.

Oops, That is my mistake. Sorry.
There is a bug in "cwm-install.sh"
It fails to make /system/bin/charger.
Please try to install "fix_charger_for_Z.zip" with CWM.
It is for Z, but probably works on ZL I think.

Stuck in bootloop after latest update

Gidday
To say I am a pissed off ASUS customer is an understatement...only just got my Zenfone 2 back a couple of weeks ago after getting the motherboard replaced as the camera was stuffed...and now today after applying an update the phone got stuck in a boot loop and I cant for the life of me get it back working again...
Can anyone point me in the direction to the steps to recovering the phone via sideloading the original firmware? I am able to access recovery mode and have attempted to re-install the firmware using the ASUS flash tool but I keep getting the error message that the serial number is incorrect,
cheers

T807T Security Error after flashing

I flashed my T-Mobile Tab S 10.5 with custom roms and the LTE didn't work so I tried flashing to stock but now it prompts with
"Security Error This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost."
I tried using Samsung Kies & Smart Switch to reload software with no luck. I even tried downloading from Sammobile and any other roms that were compatible with my model to try and regain LTE. Any help would be appreciated!

With the stock rom it gives me. "Security Error This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software & is locked. Call your mobile operator for additional support. Please note that repair/return for this issue may have additional cost."
With custom roms it just wont find any signal from tmobile and say theres no sim in the device.

It's not. Twrp doesn't communicate with the bootloader like odin does.

ROM for K430Y?

I was wondering if there's any custom ROM for this model, I was seeing that there's from other models and I don't think they are going to work with this model.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Hi there @WinterSoldier , Developers are busy working on a Custom ROM. But first the bootloader needs to be unlocked and currently LG K10 K430Y can't be unlocked.

Unfortunately no I installed Kingroot and submit a request. We'll see hopefully it will be able to be rooted.

So it works, which means you can unlock bootloader. Of course it wipes your phone. Did you try the root method suggested here on xda? Kingroot will never work with this phone...

I dont think there are any threads on xda that gives you instructions to flash twrp on k10... i neither remember anyone porting twrp for k430y.
I just mean dont say its not rootable if you didnt try it properly.

I've tried Kingroot with other devices and it's the worst. It's not even an option.
