Well I have stock recovery, I don't use CWM or TWRP until a working one will appear.

TWRP works fine. All functions are working.
Note : you cannot install via stock recovery.

Maybe on your phone TWRP is working, but not on my phone, the RESTORE function fails every time while restoring system, on every single version of TWRP.

Ok then, download and open and extract zip file. Then copy bootanimation.zip from system/media/ and copy to you mobile system/media folder and give permission rw-r-r

For manual install reaplce bootanimation.zip in
root/data/cust
restart phone and enjoy.

Install ANDROID TWEAKER 2 which includes the option of install bootanimation...bring Cyanogen,bam...

Does anyone have the original BootAnimation.zip that can share with us? i dont know why some huawei P6 when flashing get diferents huawei Bootanimation.
Heres an example. When i flashed my huawei to B11 i have this boot.
I flashed a friends huawei P6 to B11 and when he booted up for the first time his Bootanimation whas this:
I want the second BootAnimation, I feel like its more serius. like not all customized. "power by andorid" with huawei logo is more robust. i dont know how to say. My english is not very good...
Anyway i whant the second bootanimation logo, but my friend dosn`t have P6 anymore. Can some share it? or the creator of this post give them is someone whant to revert back?

I can't get into Recovery Mode with 4.4.2. After the blue "Booting in Recovery Mode" I get an red errorline and it boots up normally

Try 6.0.4.7 , it works fine with 4.4.2

for me it works perfect for several 4.4.2 Roms. I never try it for the new official Sammy 4.4.2, only for the CM11 and 2 other ROms availiable here on XDA and also for the original Sammy 4.2 I had when I got the phone. I can backup and recover all those roms. From what I read the new official 4.4.2 has a different structure so maybe thats why CWM fail with it. But for sure it works for 4.4.2, maybe just not for that original Version!?

i did ) few times..less more- i asked to Phil, team win and lot of people

No my buildbox is still dead , but i am using my personal pc to build this , anyway , all of the issues in the recovery are happening due to mr sammy not releasing new kernel source , i asked them multiple times but no answer till now , people collabrate with me and go to samsung orc center found here and file a request for source code and make a big request for our bevolved active :good:

Nandroid of Android 4.4.2 (No NOT factory image from Google!)

So I recently got a notification about the Android 4.4.3 update and of course I am rooted. I got TWRP recovery and I am ready to flaah the OTA .zip file.
Now my problem is that somehow my LatinIMEGoogle.apk is corrupted, but only the stock version (the one that can with the AOSP ROM). Now I am using the updated version from the Play Store and that's why I can write this message now. This problem prevents me from updating the Firmware of course. Now the only thing I need to do is to restore the system partition through recovery. I could find a Nandroid backup from the past but it somehow also already contains the broken LatinIMEGoogle.apk file so restoring didn't help. Now I am here to ask kindly if somebody mind sharing a Nandroid of the Android 4.4.2 system partition to let me restore via my recovery. I tried to search in XDA but somehow nobody has such kind of solution. (They always refer to the factory image from Google website) which I don't want! Because to set up my device from scratch takes a loooooot of time. Down below I have attached a photo of the flash failure so you know what I mean.

Hey, well I have more of an alternative though here, you can try to flash this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2771012
Its the stock 4.4.3 rom and I doubt you would have problems getting OTA after. If you're up to flash it, just be sure to back up beforehand.

You can just use the factory image from Google. You do not have to flash all the partitions; you can pick and choose.
First extract the system.img file from the factory image archive, then push it using

It won't wipe it because you're only flashing the system partition of the device, worst thing that could happen is a bunch of FC's upon booting it. (which is unlikely but we never know)
Also @ChiDi9901 be sure you choose the odex version if you want to not have problems while getting some newer OTA. The stock roms are always odexed, just saying.. XD

wish they would sort out the wifi, mine still doesn't transfer data at random times even though it looks like it's connected - really annoying having to off/on the wifi all the time!

Hi, I flashed the new ROM (20150815) today, (from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62388243&postcount=1 ) and I can confirm the 3rd party camera apps now work. I use FV-5 now, works great.
I did needed to upgrade the MTK drivers, I could not use the drivers I used to use for my Elephone P8.

I flashed with phone off. Drivers easy install just right click in device manager and point to your new mtk drivers.
Then load scatter file, I unticked userdata then click download and plug USB into your phone then wait for big green tick

Hi,i use the P8000 two weeks and is a very good Device and faster than my Lg G Pro2 and Mediapad X2.
But i have two Errors:The Volume Buttons using and crash the System Ui.And in Settings-Battery have i Force Close.

if you untick userdata in the flashtool , it will not wipe data partition

that's funny now operate the volume buttons through the switch the Systemlanguage from Deutsch-Österreich to Deutsch-Deutschland

Ok,i make a Factory Reset,select Deutsch-Deutschland,no crash or Force Close with Volume and with Battery in Settings.I had Problems with the Stock Browser before,on Google Page found not all what i search,but with the Deutsch Deutschland Setting works all fine,i am very happy with this Phone.

Okay, so after a (very) long wait for the official MM update, it finally came out, so I downloaded it and while using it I somehow came up with the idea of Deodexing it to see if other developers can continue their ports, etc (e.g S7 UI port,...), and I came out with superrs' kitchen and gave it a shot. I then also saw that with this kitchen I could also debloat the ROM, de-knox it, etc. and it built the ROM correctly.
It is based on the United Arab Emirates firmware, but I can try and build a new one as soon as another one comes out if you guys ask for it
Enough talking for now, so here it is:
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download original Firmware and mod (see below for latest version)
2) Boot to recovery and wipe everything (internal storage isn't necessary, but it is always recommended to start a 100% clean installation)
3) Boot to Download mode and flash original firmware using ODIN
4) Let it boot, configure your things, etc and then go back to download mode
5) Flash latest TWRP recovery (don't let the phone boot. Press volume up + home + power until "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" message pops up as soon as ODIN finishes the flashing process)
6) Press install and select this mod
7) Wait for the magic to be done

It should work following those steps, but please post if you encounter any problems

I activated it with the kitchen, but doesn't seem to work. I will look into root when I have a bit of free time (next week is the last school week )

But rooting it after installing should work you think?

Maybe the same rooting method as for lollipop works.

it also gives me that error, but then everything works perfectly, so I guess you can just ignore it

Thank you for making this. I however encounter a problem : the installation finished "succesfully" on twrp (also with the same error message than Sunn76), but when I want to reboot it tells me I have no OS installed. If i do so my screen just stays on the first boot image.

Try and flash using odin the official unmodified update and then twrp. After that flash the deodexed version using twrp.
Hopefully that works

So I went back to A5 flashed First, then your zip. No success.

Yeah, I think Arab update should be there already. I haven't tried it just to flash this over cm or whatever, so it is probably that causing it..

Just not working.
Just installed The Original Update (Arab) then the Zip.
It stays for 40 min on Samsung Boot Logo and nothing happens

And the best thing is that i realy have problems to install anything else now

It also took a very long time for me until it finally booted, so maybe try again and just leave it for a longer time

So it was trying to boot up for about 90 minutes. Vibrating every 3 minutes twice, like it wanted to boot.
But nothing else happens
