Control of stock Mazda 3 LCD? - MTCB Android Head Units Q&A

Hey, all.
Before I installed the Malaysk ROM on the Eonon GA5151F in my Mazda 3, I remember there being an app for controlling the LCD screen. I never bothered with it because the full install requires Modding six wires and I wasn't ready for it yet. Last night I got in but the time is stuck and all it says is "Navi System."
What app will allow me to change the screen? Is it mtckeys? I tried that but can't get in to it and not sure where to find it in settings.
Is there a way to change what pops in the LCD screen itself? I read reports of others doing this but just haven't seen it myself yet.
Thank you!

What exactly are u trying to change/modify on your screen? Can u be more specific?

I am not looking to modify the screen on the HuiFei/Eonon unit itself. I am talking about the LCD screen that displays the clock, mileage, etc. that comes pre-installed in the Mazda 3. I have attached a pic as an example (it's that red thing above the receiver):

I want to change the time as well as know if there's a way to change the text that shows (the text in this one says "Home").

That's what I was wondering. Does it just not come with the Malaysk app? Does anyone know what it is or was called?
I suppose I could reflash the original Eonon ROM and then reflash the Malaysk ROM but before I do, I'd like to see if I can locate the app first.
Thank you, ddoubled.

What canbus decoder do you have? The black (MAZDA-RZ-01), the red MZD-SS-04 or the red MZD SS-02? If the last one you can set the clock and change the trip computer with a long press on the SWC Mode button. If one of the first two, you can handle the LCD over the Control settings app. It shows only if you select the Mazda&Opel (Simple) or Mazda&Opel (Raise) canbus option in Factory Settings.
But, you say just the NAVI SYSTEM shows. Did you make the wiring modification? Do you have a 2003-2005 Mazda3? After 2005 you don't have to modify the wiring.

I have the red CANBUS on a 2005 Mazda 3. I tried the long press of the MODE SWC button but it didn't work. I made the modifications. I think that the show of "NAVI SYSTEM" is a good start but ... that's it. I'll give it another go and see what happens.

Yes it is a good star. What is the part number of your red canbus? Can you take photos of modded connector and wires?

Alright ... WELLLLLL ... progress, sorta.
It was originally set to 14 (Mazda & Opel). My SWCs worked great with this setting. Then I changed them to 9 and they got all weird. Glitchy. I actually posted about it on a Mazda 3 forum and Eonon ended up sending me a new CANBUS because of the weirdness. Control Settings did end up showing but they're not controlling the LCD. Changed to 44 to try as well but the same problem persisted.
I do have the replacement CANBUS. peti, do you think I should try that? If it shows "other" (all lower-case), is this a "good" or not so good sign?

New CANBUS is:
SS-MZ023211238-0 ... or ZD(MZD-SS-02)20151119
I'll snap a photo when I get to the car.
Thanks, @peti007.

Swap for the new MZD-SS-02. With this you can handle clock settings and trip computer over the SWC, no need for any application on head unit. Change to 09 MAZDA&OPEL (Simple). The "other" is good with this canbus adapter.

Well this is wondrous news. Will give it a try.
They also sent a replacement wiring harness as a precaution. Should I swap this as well or just try it and see what's up?

The harness is different. If use the wrong one the reverse camera will not shown when you stick to reverse gear. So swap it too.

Tried it out and ... no change. Pressing the mode button as a long press just causes everything to cycle. Set to 9 and it didn't seem to change much. :\ Stuck on how to proceed.

Also, I've always got the reverse camera when sticking it in reverse.
The instructions say to connect the SW1 wire to the grey wire at the center of the Eonon harness. It makes no mention of SW2. As far as you know, is this correct? I am thinking of the video from here:
https://youtu.be/jZIsormC28A?t=1m2s
Alright ... I tossed it in there without making the mods just to see what would happen. When it's set to 9, it does this weird thing where sometimes it thinks the keys are being pressed twice. VOL+ works fine always but VOL- sometimes triggers VOL+ and MODE runs twice and sometimes acts as MUTE. Set it back to 14 and the problem goes away.
Without the SW1 connected, it does accept the long MODE press and triggers the LCD to say "Settings" (I think that's it) and makes a horrible, loud beep. Can't do anything beyond there it seems. Also, the software on the Eonon itself doesn't do much. I had this issue before Eonon sent me the replacement but it was 10x worse.
Once I get home, I'll solder the new wiring harness, assuming that's the proper thing to do.

Weird. I soldered the SW1 to the "center grey wire" and the MODE no longer causes the long beep. It still acts weird when set to 9. I changed to it 14 and it works fine ... well, except I can't control the LCD still. The Control Settings app is shown but it doesn't do anything either.
NAVI SYSTEM is now changing from that to "other" once the Eonon is booted up but ... that's as far as it seems to get.A
For reference, this is what I wired:

OK, what is your car's manufactured year? Where do you live? USA, Europe,...?
You don't have to solder the SW1 nor SW2 to anywhere in European Mazda3.
Please make photos of your wiring. Of the canbus adapter and of the 06-09 LCD wiring.

Erisin ES3095Z Stock Display
Hello,
I have bought this Android Car Audio (with built-in Dual Channel Can-Bus-Decoder)( Erisin ES3095Z) for my Mazda 3 2007. But the stock display don't work. It's only show "Navi System" with the bad clock). Impossible to set the time. I have try :
- Hold button "Mode" of Steering Wheel = No reaction
- Hold button "Setting"-"Mode" in the app of can bus = No reaction
- Repeat the previously action with the setting of can bus (Mazda/Opel Simple – Mazda/Opel Raise – Mazda/CX 5 – Mazda 3) = No reaction
Thank you for your help if you have a solution.

did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue with a 2012 mazda6. Eonon (w/ mtcb) support spent a /ton/ of time with me to figure out how to set the time (the rest of my LCD worked like fm radio station vs music track number vs whatever) but just can't set the time.
originally my steering wheel MODE button didnt do anything at all (besides make something beep) -- they had me cut the middle purple wire on the factory side of their harness and connected it to the brown KEY-5V wire. this made MODE work after i trained the buttons via the software app.
but i still can't set the time, they said that they can't figure out how to do it; that my best bet is to unplug the battery at 12:00. lame.

[Clone] HDC One MAX 5.9" MTK6582 16GB / Real IR remote

Hi guys
I just got my hands on the clone called "HDC One MAX" (a.k.a. STAR One Max) with 5.9" MTK6582 16GB and Real IR remote control.
It is a perfect clone/replica of the known HTC One MAX 5.9" phablet.
I would like to start this thread to gather and collect as much info, tips & tricks, modifications, hacks etc. for this device as possible. Also the software/ROM on this phone is not 100% good yet, so I hope we can help each other fixing them.
First impressions:
The phone looks 1:1 to the original, this is one of the BEST clones I have ever seen - it even came in an original looking HTC box. Everything is 100% like on the original. The backcover and front speakers are made of real metal. The phone is also very heavy like the original. In matter for outer design they did a really good job.
It is equipped with 2 real front speakers, both speakers work! and they are actually pretty loud and nice. Still the quality is not near the original.
My phone came with the same bootup screen as the original and with all logos. Even the charger and USB cable is a perfect replica.
Overall the phone is very fast, and the UI almost looks like the real Sense from HTC. I am going to test it some more the next days, and write some extra later.

Benchmarks:

Cons & pros
- Very nice clone, looks 1:1 and has almost same materials
- Very big and clear screen, good colors
- 2 real dual speakers on the front
- Real IR remote control that works
- Google play store works, same does the stock Youtube app
- It came with good accessories, screenprotector & hardcase
- 3G works (I am in Germany, and here it works fine)
- The touch can act a bit strange sometimes
- Google play services is having a conflict on this phone
- The price is in the high end because of the use of real metal
- The fingerprint scanner has no real function it seems (yet?)
- No backlight in the touchbuttons
Camera test
The camera is "OK" and typical Mediatek

Tips & Tricks/Hacks
Can be rooted with latest Framaroot (select the last solution)
Can be backuped with MTK Droid Tools
Can install CWM via MTK Droid Tools
Issues
- The Google Play Services can not be updated together with Google Search, seems to be some kind of conflict on the phones software.
But I can use Youtube that was on the stock ROM when I got it, but I cant sign in. Still Google Play store works fine.
- Roaming warning can not be disabled in the options, but can be disabled with Xposed Framework and GravityBox.
- My homebutton can get unresponsive after I open the multitask overview (but turning off the screen, and on again, fixes the button again)
- After a factory reset and format of internal storage, I have lost the HTC bootup animation. I have the HTC One animation in my system/media, but for some reason the phone don't use it at bootup. It just bootup with a silverflashing "android" logo in the middle of the screen. Same with the shutdown animation. (I got my animations back with a CWM backup I made before I lost it)
The specifications (these should be the REAL specs, not the fake ones)

I recommend you to make a backup as the first thing, when you get the phone. A CWM backup and maybe also a backup with MTKdroidtools.
I lost the bootup animation after I tried to do a factory reset of the phone. But because of my CWM backup I could get it back again.
Overall the phone is really nice, and I am currently also using Xposed Framework with Gravity box on it, works fine. But I still haven't been able to fix the Google apps, so they can be updated.

What I would try is:
0. Make CWM backup off the original ROM, guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730031
1. Factory reset and format internal totally if possible (HTC boot may be lost!)
2. Download the stock ROM from Needrom http://www.needrom.com/mobile/11-one-max-mt6582/ and flash it to the phone with Spflashtool use guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730031
If your phones ROM have been modified in some way before, it must at least be stock by now with the flashed stock ROM.
3. If still not ok, ask the seller for a solution or send it back.

On my unit I have the following buttons: MENU, DISC, NAVI, DIMM and BAND. I don't know which button can be still redefined, but the only solution (if there is any) I think it could be using a custom ROM.
In my opinion, there should be a configuration file anywhere. But I could not yet find it...
BTW: I have MENU, SETUP, >>|, RADIO, DVD, GPS

Do you have already installed a custom ROM on your unit? Take a look also in the device's Factory settings with the secure code. Such a redefining should be possible.

OK, then I think that it could be possible only with the custom ROM or by root access.
I'm still on stock ROM too, and I would like to make a complete backup of the original ROM before installing the custom one.
That would be good. But as I'm on root, I should be able to change the necessary configuration files...
How do you managed yo get root access without custom ROM? Which is the exact type of your unit and the MCU version?
I had to sideload some things and install an app to root it - don't know exactly anymore.
Will tell you the MCU later this afternoon

First time shooting a video like this, I can post an update but I'll throw all my findings here.
Some if my initial issues;
With the MTCD PX3 5.1.1 RK3188 You could change the ACC timeout so that the unit would stay on for a specified time, that is no longer in the menu. (Car was off for 3hours and it still fast started so drawing current constantly)
Radio constantly resets after turning the key off even though the Headunit only goes into sleep it's still resetting all radio stations.
Some applications in the Google play store report they are not compatible with this unit ie: iGO Navigation. I had to side load it but that's causing issues with the sys.txt file.
The launcher is damn ugly...
Always says failed to download license when coming out of sleep even with WIFI & 4G connectivity.
(Will update as I use it more)
Positives;
Unable to make it slowdown with Spotify & iGO Navigation running at the same time like it used to.
Audio quality is a LOT better and having subwoofer control on the EQ is great.
No longer have engine whine/hiss either.

You should measure the power draw when it has been off for an hour or more. The Intel head units basically goes to a deep hibernation, drawing next to nothing (no more than a normal head unit) while the system is sleeping, and then it comes instantly back on and is ready to use within a second or two from turning on the ignition. It may be that the new PX5 has a similar or the same feature, which is why you don't set the ACC timeout anymore. On the Joying Intel units you can change it between what they call "dormancy" or "shut off" in the special settings app they have, allowing you to turn it all the way off when ACC is removed if you wish to do so.

Thanks for the idea, I have a DC clamp meter I'll use tomorrow to double check.
Just tried the ignition again after getting home from being out with friends. So the car was off for 6 1/2hours this time, hit the key & it instantly started.
Still not happy about it resetting the radio stations every time however.
Cheers

Edit: also showing an issue I'm receiving, PX3 top, PX5 bottom.
The 6.0.1 Octacore has a lot of apps that it's not "compatible" with.

On Intel MTCD devices, they removed the option to set ACC off timer.... due to the power consumption during deep sleep is negligible. I think some ROM update is neccessary to fix that small errors
It is strange that lots of apps were not compatible with the device as it is a RK3368 (two years old chip). Perhaps is sending a wrong device information to Google play ?
good review. Sound like a fellow kiwi? note that other resellers offer MCU and ROM upgrade on rk3188 to enable sub control. e.g. jy1.90

Ok did some clamp DC current tests,
Headunit unplugged. vehicle left for an hour. 37-55mA current draw tested 3 times in 15minute period.
Headunit plugged in, sleeping 3hours then clamped. 97-130mA. That's a noticeable drain increase, that's enough to make a vehicle not start if it hasn't been driven in a week.
An ACC timeout adjustment would be great again. Lets say the unit locks up? My older unit would lockup every now and then and just be the wallpaper on screen (launcher crash) and I'd have to turn ignition off the ACC timeout time to reboot the headunit properly.
What happens now? Do I have to go pulling fuses.
And for the device information all it does is report as PX5, Where as the PX3 reports at RK3188. So I have a feeling that's an issue?
Hopefully updates get dropped soon through various vendors as at the end of the day they're all the same generic core board.
Cheers
Mat

have you managed to gain root access on the unit

I think difference too small to upgrade PX3 to PX5.

PX5 aside, the upgraded memory to 2gb is a major factor and provides an out of the box experience without feature limiting mods that may be difficult for some.
Note that I have upgraded my rk3188 to 2gb which improves the unit from boot to opening multiple apps and do not see the cpu as a bottleneck at all.
Seems to me the PX5 isn't ready for prime time as of yet, I'll stick to recommending the Intel for the time being. The power usage when sleeping is disconcerting, the Intel units draw something like 12-13 mA when in sleep mode, which is really great! That is actually a major feature for me, as I'd be annoyed waiting a minute or so for the thing to boot up in the morning.
Bit of an update, Had a few scenarios where radio has not reset now. I can't figure out what aspect causes it to reset but it does happen occasionally between a key cycle.
Apart from the launcher look which I hate I've warmed up to the unit. App switching, Spotify buttons are already linked to << >> > || etc. Haven't been able to lag the volume control, or GPS/Spotify/Pandora switching etc.
Appears With my usage It hovers around 900Mb Ram usage, so there is a chance the biggest change I'm noticing is the memory being 2GB now vs 1GB.
But does anyone have info about the DSP on these units? It sounds a lot clearer and less muddy now which is odd, I wasn't sure that was a change. But It's a welcomed one.
Any questions feel free to ask.
Cheers
Mat
Thanks for all the info
Is there any reference to the voltage on the RCA outputs on the unit? Is it too much to hope that with an improved DSP they can put out a bit more than the old 2V?
Sound quality wise does the unit seem more inline with more established aftermarket units now like Alpine etc (if you have any experience with them), Whats the main difference here?
Okay, I have some info on the MTCD 6.X.X MCU/Software Updates etc.
I also have the update.img & dmcu.img for 12th Jan 2017 for the PX5 unit. (According to Xtrons support, I haven't used yet.)

Hi,
(((excuse me)))
I have not previously responded to your "review" between these 2 hu because I felt it unfair to compare them both like the way you already did.. is not an honestly comparing -and maybe you knew it?- mate!!
Prove it.. you gonna or I hear you say.. right?
Ok here we go..
How it is possible in the Xtrons name that you compare both hu while you did not even have updated your old 5.1 hu at all?
Your 5.1 hu with an very old fw and mcu version while the newer 6.1 hu one is with the most newer fw and mcu come? now is that comparing you called fair
I don't know why you did it that? But maybe.. I may have my own thought of kind of conspiracy but I will keep it for myself and I don't tell it ofcourse
If you are really wanted to comparing both of them honestly then you should first of all update your old hu one first and then compare it with the newer one.. right?

I got my PX3 unit In September, Car didn't get driven between Early December-Mid January due to me breaking my wrist and having it pinned.
I still don't see what you're getting at, but okay. Take your salt elsewhere bud.

Dasaita Max 10; Downgrading 1280x720 screen to 1024x600

Some time ago I ordered a px6 Max10 with 720p screen. The lcd screen somehow broke in the mail (I think they knowingly sent it to me broken... but that's just my opinion), and I sent them pictures of this. Dasaita sent me a new screen... or at least they were SUPPOSED to. A month and a half later (today) the WRONG part arrived in my mailbox. They sent me the outer glass instead of a new 720p screen. So here I am more than 2 months after I ordered this thing, it is STILL not in my vehicle. I am sooo friggin angry!
Anyway, I sent them an email but we're probably talking yet another 6 to 8 weeks... and that's if they get it right this time, which I doubt. I am fast coming to the conclusion these people are slightly less than honest.... but that's another thread.
I was thinking....
I do have a Dasaita px5 with a 1024x600 screen. Would it be possible just to take the screen off the px5 and stick it on the px6? This might be far easier than expecting much more from Dasaita at this point. After seeing what I saw today in the mail that they sent me, I don't think I am ever going to see a working 720p screen out of them. I have a feeling they are just going to jerk me around until I get tired of trying.
if they are thesame dimension...the only thing really is just flash the right file for the specific resolution

Yeah that's what I thought. I'm pretty sure the two screens are the same physical dimensions, and I believe the connections are all the same so its just a matter of flashing with the correct resolution.

Then just flash the 1024x600 update file (including the MCU if necessary )
May be useful to have a 2nd screen handy that you can connect over HDMI to see what you are doing when you try to flash different screen resolutions. For 1024x600 I think you need to flash a dmcu.ext file with "screen:2" in it.

Hi woggles,
I am new here, so please excuse me , if my question is stupid.
First, seems I have the same issue. I have PX6 , and the seller recently send me an update containing dmcu and update. files.
I did the upgrade and this almost brick my head unit. So, my display stop working, it have vertical lines , and flicking. My hardware buttons has lost its orders , for example home button become "power" button, and so on. Touch positions on the screen also are displaced. The screen constantly scrolling itself. Error message appear shows Version Unmatch -01.
I plug external HDMI monitor , and there all looks fine. So the issue is in the LCD display .
Then I update dmcu with newest version , and this error message disappear , but I still have issue with the LCD. Tried several update versions, but so far without success. Attaching pictures.
I think that the issue is in the screen resolution do not match , or LCD hardware issue, that is why I would ask you - how to flash dmcu with screen option ? My screen resolution should be 1280*720
Many thanks !
ps. unfortunately I cant attach an image, as new member

To update the screen configuration you need to flash the dmcu.img along with a dmcu.ext file. You need to put both files on a FAT32 USB flash disk and you can upgrade MCU through the system settings menu or in recovery. The dmcu.ext file can contain the screen configuration and is simply a plain text file containing "screen:x".
For 1280x720 try the following screen values (upgrading MCU each time).
"screen:12" this resulted in blank screen for me
"screen:13" this works for me in all roms but I get one half line that flickers on the top left.
"screen:16" I never tried this, support mentioned it to me
"screen:18" only works for HA firmware 20190915 or newer but has the best results.
I would try 13 first, but I'm not sure if you have same display as me.
Good luck!

Great post.
Some time ago I received a replacement screen panel and apparently it has a resolution of 1280x720, so I installed it ,but the image doesn't fit the screen. I have tried that dmcu ext file ,but the only value that works is screen:12,,,,,any ideas?

Just using reverse thinking on this.....
Wouldn't a bigger image indicate a SMALLER screen? Are you sure the screen resolution is 1280x720 and not 1024x600?
Screen:2 I think is the 1024x600 if you want to try that. Just make sure you can get out of it without the screen just in case it goes blank.

When they sent me the new screen they said it was 1280x720, and when I installed it I checked and it showed 1280x720 in settings. There is a setting in factory settings by the name of "Customer Version" and it's referred to the screen version or resolution , Version 1 and Version 2,,,,,,,,I saw somewhere to never change it to version 2 or it will be a blank screen . I did not try to flash the mcu with dmcu ext screen:1, I will try that later.:good:

Here is my experience with this similar issue. After figuring out the the dmcu.ext is basically a text file and the only thing in it is screen:x x being a number. The number representing a resolution in relation to what MCU and OS. The default of 1280x720 is 12 on all of the dmcu.ext I could download. I read in most people changing it to 18 depending on which MCU you have installed is what i read. I also was not doing a factory reset erase all before I did an install. So I did the factory reset and the dmcu.ext with screen 12. nothing happened. I did it again with 18 nothing. The 3rd factory reset with screen:0 and on all of these I was using MTCE_HA_V3.62 for dmcu.img. When this one rebooted it had a black screen. I plugged a monitor to the hdmi output and I could see through the monitor just fime but I had to touch my head unit screen where I think it should be according to the monitor so I factory reset again with screen:13 in the dmcu.ext and when the head unit rebooted after installing it was the correct resolution..

Themes / Apps / Mods Solution for non-functioning proximity sensor (for GSIs)

11/05/2022: UPDATED the instructions and the rules.
NOTICE: This method is no longer relevant for the U2-baseband firmware and Android 13-based GSIs, they should work out of the box.
After a couple of weeks of the real-world use of SM-A325 with LineageOS GSI installed, I've found that the phone has no real proximity sensor and that's a real problem. The so called "virtual" proximity sensor mentioned by Samsung is obviously just an emulation done by reading the tilt sensor (vertical position) and the touchscreen (touch anywhere in the upper half).
Almost all of the GSIs use the generic Call app, so just a slight accidental touch with your ear or finger and you can have a whole bunch of functions activated. There is a solution though:
Install the "Automation" app (open-source) by Jens Schröder
Go to the "Rules" tab and press "Add Rule"
Give the new rule some name (e.g. "Turn screen off during call")
Press "Add trigger", "Phone call", "State" = "started", "Call direction" = "any". Press "Save".
Press "Add action", "Turn screen on or off", "Deactivate"
"Save Rule"
If the rule is marked with the yellow dot go to the "Overview" tab, start the service and give the needed permissions
Also press "Control center", "Settings" and make sure that "Start at system boot" is checked.
And another, mode advanced version (if that's too complicated you can just import the attached settings file):
Go to the "Rules" tab and press "Add Rule"
Give the new rule some name (e.g. "Turn screen off during call")
Press "Add trigger", "Phone call", "State" = "started", "Call direction" = "any". Press "Save".
Press "Add trigger", "Device orientation"
Position the phone vertically (Pitch = 0±5) and press "Apply"
Enter tolerances: 180, 70, 180
"Must apply" checked
Press "Save"
Press "Add trigger", "Screen state", "on"
Press "Add action", "Turn screen on or off", "Deactivate"
"Save Rule"
I recommend setting "Signal frequency" in "Device orientation settings" in the settings to 500 ms. This way there will be much lesser chance of lag when phone is lifted up to the ear, while the battery consumption by the Automation app will still remain negligible.
That's it. Now when you receive a call the screen will be turned off. You can turn it on during the call by pressing the side button, the call will not be interruped. When using the advanced version of the rules the side button works only when the device is held horizontally, unfortunately there is no way to improve this but I think that is a very minor issue (or just use the simple version instead).
Updated rules, working with Automation v1.7.6.
This causes an issue in video calling on whatsapp where the phone turns the screen off again and again.

Try the rule that I am using now. It's much simpler and much more reliable. If it does not work for you then probably this solution is just incompatible with WhatsApp. BTW, I am not using it and don't recommend to anyone as it's the privacy-violating app.

Any free commercial app is doing this. That's why it's free.

To import the rules put them in some folder, start Automation, press Control center, Import configuration and choose that folder.

It seems that this problem is no longer present at least with the latest Android 13 stock firmware (A325FXXU2CVK3) or even slightly older used together with LineageOS 20.0 or even 19.0. Using the Android 13 firmware also cures another long-standing issue - the non-functional MTP file transfer. Analyzing the kernel source reveals that Samsung obviously abandoned their own f_mtp_samsung driver in favor of the standard f_mtp.

Hmm. I'm currently using Lineage 20.0 (td version) installed upon the unaltered A325FXXU2CVK3 firmware and I didn't notice any difference in performance.

Hi! First of all sorry for my mechanic English hehehe.
I just broke my proximity sensor cause water... , Now im trying this method but I have a question.
Exist some way to put audio in the calls speaker ( the topside speaker used in calls)? For example, I want to listen some Whatsapp audio in private.
I want to put the smartphone on my ear and then automation change the speaker, besides turn off the screen.
I didn't saw any option, just the script option that I don't know how to use it and the "boardcast" option that i dont know how to use it neither.
Thanks in advance.

I am sure that Automation can't do that, changing whatever speaker is used for sound output is ruled entirely by the particular phone app.

there was a app i think i saw on playstore. it wont automate it but u can switch entire audio output to ear piece. then u can revert it back lager manually
