How many of us are interested in having an official build of CM13 in our equipment?

1st I'd post this in Q&A and not development.
2nd as long as we have somebody "maintaining" the unofficial builds (poisonNinja) I'm happy with unofficial. Especially since there were bugs even in snapshot builds of cm12.1 like low in call volume and broken audio during 3d applications which were never fixed (as of 17/12/15. This was the last build I tried). It would be good if we get automated builds but I wouldn't sacrifice stability and functionality for this (i.e. necessary cherry picks and fixes).

It more easy if the developers have a official build

Brissen and I have been working slowly on getting the device finished up, it's actually really close to getting nightlies, only have one thing to fix I think for enforcing boot and then official builds will start after

thanks

i do lol, currently using asop 6.0 rom, constantly reboot for some reason

It would be nice, N7105 stills does everything I need, there is not much reason to update to something newer.

thank you, I am also waiting to test the CM13 in my phone, thanks for the support:good::good:

N7100 still got CM11. Is the only version of Note 2 with CM11.
Even S2 got official CM13 now... (I don't want to live on this planet anymore)

CM Version Updates

Hello everyone I did a quick search and couldn't find anything.I would like to know who handles the updates for the CM version of the phone. Is it Oppo or the CM team? Will there be OTA updates or do we have to manually download and install?
Thanks in advance.

CM will handle the CM version. Oppo will supply updates to their software, but CM will handle the actual ROM itself.
Right now there's only one build released. I have a new build that I'm checking out now, but it's still on 10.2. We should see CM11 very soon, and I predict that it will come with the official Google software built in, so there won't be a need to flash gapps. I might be wrong about that, but I think that's how it will work.
I'll post the link for the update very soon in the correct section.

Software should be coming out tomorrow, can't wait.
Cyanogenmod does have their new CM Installer software for Windows and Android. If you're not familiar with fastboot, installing recoveries, and all that....it may be the easier way to go....in fact, I'm curious to try it myself.
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/oppo-n1-cyanogenmod,25495.html
I am more interested to see how this will work not only for the N1 but for future CM phones.
Imo if they want to go official they should provide the stable versions OTA to begin with.

I'm fairly certain that CM11 won't have included gapps until an official "stable" release occurs.
Only the released version of 10.2 has been approved by Google.

I'm talking about the official build of CM11. Steve Kondik has informed me that the build is almost ready to roll. They're just waiting on a few last details... Which I assume is the inclusion of gapps.

All People Update CM. there is the cm-11-20140724-NIGHTLY
First update to the latest nightly in CM page, after that you can update via OTA in your phone, there is Daily updates!!
O-Click, Works, meaby a second lag (while focusing?)
O-Touch Works, not as the touchpad of your lap but works, And for some reason changing the VM to ART works better for me.
3G works
Battery last very good, and its suposed to las more in stand-by if you use ART instead of Dalvik
ART works well by the way.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9 5.1 ROMs

Is anyone planning to make a 5.1 ROM for the Kindle Fire HD 8.9? Or at least update the only 5.0 ROM that we do have? Haven't seen an update in months.
I am hoping for the same thing. Seems like the nightlies are pretty stable for the CM 11 ROMS and major thanks for all the work on those. I'd love to see a Lollipop ROM for our Fire HDs.
They have 1 but it hadn't been updated in months. It's still in Alpha state. It's pretty good but need an update.
If anyone is interested I have built Candy5 5.1.1 for the 8.9, I just need testing as I don't own jem, that's the reason why I only build for tate , but if you guys are willing to test the builds I can release them and possibly build beanstalk for you guys also?

Awesome job

Brilliant job, man!! The ROM seems stable enough for a daily driver, even from a dirty flash from Hashcode's CM12 port. Just a few bugs:
1) When choosing to show the seconds for the time, the seconds show up after the PM/AM text. The attached screenshot demonstrates this (I used the CandyROM sweeteners for the Adventure Time themed navbar).
2) When I paired my Bluetooth keyboard, I was able to type the pairing code as prompted, but even though Android recognizes it as an input device, I'm not able to type with the keyboard. This issue didn't occur in CM11, but it was prominent in Hash's CM12 ports. Maybe it's a lollipop issue in general?
3) the navigation ring targets look awfully large (also shown in the screenshot). This issue appeared before (and after, as well) I customised the navigation ring targets, and it did not do this in Hashcode's port.
Otherwise, this ROM is excellent for a first port!

I crossposted this from the Q&A for the ROM thread because I have under 10 posts and the forum won't let me post directly into the development thread.

Quick follow-up. Looking very solid for the moment. Definitely a daily driver. Thank you.

Official Lineage Os Builds start flowing.

The Robin is the second device with Official Lineageos Builds available.
Go to Lineageos.org
Downloading now
Installing
https://download.lineageos.org/ether
To save some trouble, here's a link to the Nextbit Robin builds.
How's it running for ya?
Literally right after i flash back stock for the nougat beta.... XD
First impressions? Like Gps and fingerprint (no detection when unlocked?) are working correctly?
So... which version should we download? Experimental or Nightly?
Edit: Ok, Experimental builds are made for upgrading from a CM 13/14.1 build to Lineage. You can try it, but there's no guarantee that it will work. So the correct answer to my question is... Install Nightly. (And i will in a few minutes )
Btw, i was surprised our beloved Robin was one of the few first to have support from LineageOS. Thanks LineageOS people! :good::highfive:

Nice video! Definitely cool to see how the ROM runs in realtime. To me, it seems a little rough around the edges compared to stock, so I'll wait for a milestone build or something. Videos like this are super helpful, though, so thank you!
I most say Its not perfect, and it is technically not a first release, however this is definitely a BIG step on the right direction :good:

They are still rolling out the initial builds. If your device is on the list, you should not be concerned, just patient.
It was one of the first build and the build is broken:
https://jenkins.lineageos.org/job/android/21/
https://jenkins.lineageos.org/job/android/22/
Nobody correct this for now
The last three cm13 "weeklys" also broken, and nobody fix it
A nightly just arrived at the LineageOS-Downloadpage
But no experimental for migration

Some phones don't have experimental because have changes that it's mandatory wipe data but seems that this week none of the phone builds have an experimental....

First of all THANK YOU VERY MUCH for replying my thread.
Where do you download this build in the official Lineage OS website? The only one i saw for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the Builds for ha3g in the official Lineage OS website.
Other then official sites i found only unofficial downloads links below ( I am using this one now and there is several big bugs ) :

There is no official LineageOS hlte build yet. An unofficial hlte forum is https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3459973

NOTE 3 LTE version is out already!
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/hlte
I have sm-n9005 on linage 14.1-20170713-unoffical-hlte.
Since I installed this I have no mobile phone data, but do have mobile calls and wifi data.
Any idea what to do?
Im just about to buy a 2nd hand Note3 (UK).
Using the link above to the official LineageOS builds I can see there are tonnes of 'nightlies'.
But before I buy this thing can someone tell me, although I can see nightlies, nightlies aren't always stable or reliable.
So are there any like, MILESTONE, or FINAL solid releases of LineageOS for Note3? (like you used to get with CyanogenMod?) (milestones). I used those on my S3 and they were always more reliable.
thanks.
Very happy with my Note 3 and LineageOS 14.1
Hi,
I am using the nightlies since August 2017. I turned away from the obviously ended support of the stock rom.
My expieriences are:
- With the latest stock ROM (Android 5.0.1) it lagged very much performance and was not much fun to use anymore. A factory reset did not change anything with this.
- With lineagos 14.1 the device feels like brand new and fast in response like never before. The device is my main device in everyday use. I was very much pleased with my decision to use lineage0s 14.1 until present so far.
- The ROM is without any major issues, as far as I can tell.
- On day zero, when I flashed the ROM, ONE issue was there that I could fix. But I forgot how, sorry. It was somewhat my own fault I think, because googling around got me a solution for that. Description of the problem: Any sound (music, notification etc.) would come from the ear speaker and not the main speaker. As far as I remember, I had to deal with something like "Baseband/Modem/Bootloader" flashing. I assume, that I had flashed the wrong thing (?). I found some guides that seemed to adress wrong Baseband/Modem/Bootloader versions. I do not understand the technical details about those pieces of software, but after dealing with those things, and flashing again, everything went fine!
Finally I can recommend the nightly builds, there are no official builds yet, but they do work without major (nearly any) bugs. There is one minor exception/bug, that I am trying to find a solution to, but I can live with it, it really is not crucial to the function of the device. It is decribed here
Note 3 rocks!

I had the same issuecwith my wifes Note 3, no mobile data... I simply flashed again and it worked. You also should have the right baseband/modem for this to work.
