But I do need to root it again, right?

Why would anyone flash D855 kdz to any other model?
I don't think anyone will flash anything if they don't know their model number at least
Does anyone can guide me to list of bugs of 6.0. Thinking of flashing it myself. It's it worth it?

Again depends on ure model there are a couple multi varient 6.0 roms each seeem to have people having no issues and there are some with every issue in the world i was using the fulmics 3.0 for d850 since att hasnt released there own mm yet im using a multi varient kernal i dont like to badmouth anything but personly i think most of my issues. Such as slow charge times. Fast battery drain. Unable to set the kernal settings how i want the rom was smooth. Also some people again i dont like bad mouthing or downing people but some people will cross flash if u read on the fulmics page one guy actually flashed one of the models litsted his was not yet supported and then he got mad at the developer. Personally im just gonna wait til my offical comes out. att just released the g4 mm update so im hopin im soon

Sorry for the confusion here i am talking about only d855 model they can flash the d855 kdz...also i am talking about stock rom.....how much i know only 30b mm global kdz is available.....

Hello
I have a lg g3 D851 model and I installed Marshmallow ported Rom through this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-lge-d855-android-marshmallow-ported-t3285025
Currently works very well, only has problems with bluetooth. If you install Android Marhsmallow for your model (D855) through KDZ (everything works without problems.), you can get root easily using KingRoot in its latest version (I've tested it on my phone and it worked), Then you must again install TWRP apps in order to install the custom recovery ( the latest version is 3.0) and finally, you must install the Supersu file (from recovery) in version 2.52 (is the one that works best on android Marhsmallow).

Perfectly put.

And I am still w8ting MM for LG G3 D856 (CIS).....

I think I'll just wait than...

Thats what im doing i got old ll rom runnin just fine itll hold me over till it comes i had an old ev0 4 g that runs great on cm based roms but ive noticed g2 g3 runs smoother on stock based and rite now there are such a variety of issues goin down that inmay wait but fulmics just released a new mm update 3.5 so i may check it out to but again im stuck on solid kernal being d850 no stock kernal images yet im not feelin that kernal to much

MM ported Rom.

I'm not completely sure but I think you can install it via this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/rom-lge-d855-android-marshmallow-ported-t3285025
Today updated the rom and it is compatible with all variants of Lg G3, additional the bug associated with Bluetooth has been fixed.

Differences in stock roms?

So I finally got my Z1C, and it is on 1279-6212, which is Taiwan Generic (I think, box has country code ZT). However, there doesn't appear to be any -6212 stock roms uploaded to the forum.
It looks like from reading various threads that it doesn't really matter which region's stock rom you flash, so with that in mind, are there any major differences between the versions? Any particular region's rom that stands out as a good one?

Hello @Kodeen;,
To clear up your doubts, you can flash firmwares from all regions on your device, like Nordic or DE.
There are no major differences, maybe the amount of applications and updates Schedule but that's usually it. The versions with less bloat is the generic versions.
Hope it cleared up any doubts,
DevStaff
There can be some small cosmetic differences e.g for some regions the indicator will say 4G, in other regions it says LTE (it's the same thing). Also some carrier versions will come with more bloatware/preinstalled apps - you can avoid this by going for an unbranded version
And there is a possibility that default MMS size (I havan't found a way to change it) is set specific for a country.
In Poland standard value is 300KB and I have never had problems with MMSes on UK and DE ROMs. Now I'm on RU ROM and it looks like default MMS size is set to higher value so I can't send 80% of MMS messages because images are recompressed to sizes greater than 300KB.
I'll confirm this soon when I switch to DE ROM.
just to add it up,
there are a few 108 firmwares around right now.
Code:
D5503_14.4.A.0.108_EURO.ftf - 1037 MB
D5503_14.4.A.0.108_Generic_DE_1279-6978.ftf - 1037 MB
D5503_14.4.A.0.108_Generic_UK_1279-4053.ftf - 964 MB
D5503_14.4.A.0.108_RU.ftf - 964 MB
the main difference inside .ftf files is file that contain the system (system.sin), which unpacked come in two sizes: 1.45 GB (UK & RU versions) and 1.56 GB (EURO & DE versions). it could be due to preinstalled system apps (i'm not able to flash them and compare right now).

Hello Danyel Nro,
Just obtain an ftf file from XDA and then download flashtool. Then you should install the flashmode drivers, and put the ftf in the correct folder (<userfolder>\.flashtool). Then just start flashtool and select the "bolt" icon and follow the instructions.
Best regards

Updated LP from TMO should be out soon

Stated it was approved yesterday and should be released soon. Would hope to see BT and WiFi calling fixed.

Using the LG Mobile Support Tool, I'm flashing it now in download mode. Too bad I Jumped to a G4 because of broken wifi calling and iffy BT in my car where 4.4 was fine.
How is it?
will try out but may downgrade to 20B again for root purposes in a couple days. who knows, in that time frame there may be a root.

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
In regards to stump root, have a look at this thread as it may be helpful: [Root] Stump Root for LG Devices (2012 - 2014) Big update 1.2.0
Assuming that you've followed the instructions provided, you may have to double check where you have downloaded the root app from and whether the app is compatible with your phone's current firmware.

As the app is discontinued, a different app/method may have to be used for your android firmware. This thread will be moved to the G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting so proper assistance will be given regarding to root. It may help others if you can give your baseband version, android version and model number (in about phone in phone settings) so accurate help can be given.

Hi again,
I too don't understand the significance of the 10B/C, but I assume it has something to do with the bootloader (users correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, if you've updated your firmware, the bootloader can also be changed as well, which means this root method may not work (as it was last updated mid 2014). I don't know how to check the bootloader version as I do not have a LG G3, I hope someone else will be able to help you out with this.

These apps/methods are to root your device from an unrooted state. If your device was previously rooted, it states that you will have to fully unroot it in SuperSU (in your case, your phone is still unrooted).

Can anyone confirm if this version has treble?
Sorry guys,
but to get this update, should I be in a Korean network?
because my H930DS come from korea, but I'm in europe.
does the update check the ip address?
Thanks
Anyone who has the Oreo update confirm project treble is in the final release?
I just got it. Installing it as we speak.
But I've read on other forum that it's not treble enabled.

It would have been in beta if it was going to be there. The speed of the update September to December (3 months), meant it would have taken a lot more time to add that feature.

Ok thanks
I don't know why, but not all V30 models got the update. Some devices got notification then fail to install after 2 hours of downloading. Devices with beta program are easily to get update. But others have some problems. Still waiting for V300K, H930DS,...

I know that. Some users succeed, some fail. Now many users with V300K model can not get update. Still don't know why.
Like said before no treble

LG Q 7 Plus

is there anyone that have had any luck rooting a LG Q 7 Plus
it will Brick MetroPCS/T-Mobile versions
Well hello there my friend!
I upgraded a few months back to the (Metro PCS) LG Q7+ Model: LG-Q610MA.
Do you know which Model of the phone you have?
If you still have the factory sticker on the back with the IMEI # on it, you can find the model number directly underneath that and to the left.
Models LG-Q610MA & LG-Q610TA, are NOT possible to install TWRP on them currently, anyways.
Then there is the Q7+ThinQ version and the regular Q7+ versions.
So, I am NOT sure if the Rooting process is different or not between the 2 versions.
So, i guess, I am about as confused as you.
Boy, I sure hope TWRP becomes available for it soon!!
