P8000 Custom Cyanogen Mod Bootlogo - Elephone P8000

Hi I changed from Eragon to CM and for me the Eragon Bootlogo was still present (maybe I am not the only one) but I want a CM Bootlogo at CM Rom so I decided to build my own logo.bin and share it with you.

The pictures are sorted that way:

You could flash the files with SP Flash Tool (The original scatter file from Elephones latest stock rom is included in each Logo folder so it should work for everyone).
or you could now also flash the files through TWRP recovery as @walter79 wrote in the first post thx for this!
each folder includes now the logo.img too
I have tested all logos by my self and they work for me but I am not responsible for bricked devices so you should know what you are doing!

I used Image Resizer for Windows to scale the pictures to 1080x1920 https://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

You can install it easy with TWRP.
Unzip zip and copy logo.bin to sdcard and rename it to logo.img
Boot in to recovery.
Click INSTALL and select INSTALL IMAGE
Select logo.img and logo partition.

Yes sure but the files where curently logo.bin and not flashable through recovery at the moment

You can flash it try it. Switch from zip install to image install. It worked well.

thx you are right you simly have to rename from logo.bin to logo.img as you wrote in the first post. I did not read correctly sorry

I was researched all night and finially got the right thing needed. I am happy to share with my Driod Friends who are facing this issue. :fingers-crossed:

and download the file.
2. Unzip it and extract boot.img to Fastboot folder and also copy the zip to SD Card.
3. Run CMD in Fastboot Folder by using Shift+Right Mouse click.
4. Connect the phone in Fastboot Unlocked.
5. Enter this command in CMD:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

then use any Custom Recovery like CWM (Clockwork Mod Recovery) or TWRP
and place recovery.img to fastboot folder
then run:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

6. Back to bootloader and click Factory Restore.
7. Now you entered in Recovery, just wipe factory and wipe disk partition.
8. Click Install from SD Card, then select the zip file you copied to SD Card.
Confirm by clicking yes. Then wait for a while it may take upto couple of minutes.
9. You will see, Successful notification. Now reboot the phone normally.
10. Horrayy...!! We are back to original rom. Just select English at startup wizard. :laugh:
Tips:
Settings: Power - and unselect Fastboot.

To reduce the size of recovery the images are compresed a bit and 'black and white'-ed so the default theme looks ugly (or could be buggy)
Don't worry about overlapping of recovery on other partition because the recovery is 2KB less than 6MB
( 6MB=6144KB but recovery is 6142KB )

I have a TL-10 and i can't update with ota or dload. I think it is by "cust" archive "CUST FAILED". Somebody can post "cust" archive please? for restore with this CWM.

thanks but I've tried but I can not update "install cust failed" r. All I can do is install the images using "fastboot" recovery.img system.img, userdata. img cache.img and cust.img. But I can not update .

How active rainbow mode.
Go to cwm. Push and hold volume down that's long as you see rainbow mode.
If you want disable this mode you must push and hold volume up that's long as rainbow mode dissable.

If you have root and unlocked boot loader use flashify.apk from Google Play. Change file name to Cwm6.0.5.1.img and use this app to change recovery . I do it that

How to...
...install the theme:
The theme zips are not flashable. First installation has to be done manually:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.
Change the theme:
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE THEME.
Select the theme zip you want to use.
Confirm the change.
remove the theme:
In Materialised settings, select the delete icon on the app bar.
Confirm the removal.
Alternatively, delete the ui.zip from /sdcard/TWRP/theme with a file explorer.
install image files while in recovery:
The theme currently utilises the Flashify script by @osm0sis to install boot, radio and recovery images.
The script comes with the theme and will automatically be installed to /sdcard/TWRP/flashify if required.
On the Install page, tap on Install Zip.
Select Install Image.
Select the .img file you want to flash.
Select the image type.
This selection determines the target partition. Make sure not to flash a radio.img to the boot partition...
Start flashing with a swipe.

Magisk patched boot.img for OOS 11.0.6

Can anyone share magisk 24 patched boot.img for 11.0.6.1 version of stock global rom?
I was able to extract and patch boot.img from the update file. Now my problem is I can't get PC to recognize the device. Obviously already tried reinstalling device drivers + ADB, turned on/off USB debugging and default USB setting. Any ideas? Alternatively, any way to flash boot.img or get root without PC?
yeah, if someone can provide the patched boot img for 11.0.6.1 HD65AA, that would be great!

So if you are running now OxygenOS 11.0.6.1.HD65AA without any mods and root just paste this boot.img file into main directory of your phone.
Start Magisk and select this file and let it patch. After patch copy magisk patched boot.img to your folder on your PC where you have fastboot files.
Would be easier to change name of patched file just to boot.img
Enter to fastboot mode on your phone and flash patched file using commands:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Restart phone and you are rooted
I am always using this method.
But I just downgrade from OOS11 to 10 becuase is just terrible.
Wanna know more details PM me.

solved problem by deep cleaning of my phone's USB-C port...
