[UPDATE]Elephone P8000_flyme_4.5.3_20151016_ based on Android 5.1

First remember this below!
You'd better conduct factory reset and wipe cache partition first . Back up your phone before factory reset. If there are some errors during flashing, you can flash official rom first and then try again.

sorry, it not supports, now only the Trunk supports to move apps to SD card.

I posted it wrongly, I was thinking about Vibe 2.9 in which the bluetoot h was not working at all
Sorry for the disturbance
Anyway the hands free mode of bluetooth was also not working in Flyme 4.5.2, that by pressing the dial button of bluetooth head set , we can not launch any voice dialer application, so that by saying the name , we can not make a call.
If this function can be added to this rom , it will be great.

So far, the fingerprint scanner doesn't work, and flashlight from dropdown menu doesn't work. I had to install app from the market. The former can't be solved on Flyme OS, the latter will be solved in the next update. Hope this will help you, also after you try it, any bug found, you can leave message here.

Dear @Elephone1 yes fingerprint doesn't work + just one option to lock device unfortunately, Flashlight doesn't matter, Notification light doesn't work either (No blinks, fully off), overall i love the rom looks so beautiful on Elpehone P8000. Today i will try to install Xposed Framework on it and lets see what happens. Any ETA for next update? :fingers-crossed:

Many lock options you can download in the theme, we are making MIUI for P8000 now, but for now it only support Russian, :fingers-crossed:

Dear @Elephone1 I can see all looks like chinese language in app store and personalize
Happy for the source code to be updated by 1st Nov-2015, i am not a fan of MIUI honestly if you could port Cyanogenmod 12 that would be awesome, when Android M will be ported to our sweet P8000 :silly: :victory:

UPDATE - I Successfully recovered my Phone to a working state by using TWRP and restoring a backup.
I would still like to revert the phone to UCLJ3 stock from
CyanogenMod Version 11-20140725-UNOFFICIAL-i927

Have you tried the Development form? This thread has a stock version you can download also, as well as the rooted, deodexed, zipaligned version:

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Iam aware of the links in the Dev thread, but wanted to return the phone to an unrooted stock firmware so that Barclay's banking apps work and there are no VoIP issues for things like Skype and what's app. I want to pass the phone on to my son.

The first link is for the pure stock UCLJ3 Rom. The Dev-Host website will redirect you to an advertisement if you are not a member when you click download. So if you go to the site, become a free member, and download the file. I downloaded it just now to ensure that it still works.

Give sediROM a try!
While installing sediROM you can decide if you want to have it rooted or not!!
Would be nice to know if that fixes your problem.

I installed sediROM - using TWRP without issue - (chose un-rooted option) - Skype and WhatsApp voice call work correctly and my son is busy customising his 'new' phone -
I note that Bluetooth file transfer does not work but this appears to be a known issue - I'm trusting that the headset profiles work as this was a stated aim for this ROM fork, and his pending birthday present is to be a set of Bluetooth headphones.

yes bluetooth file transfer is an issue but I thought it is for the latest beta only (v2.0)? You use v1.7 right?
You're totally right the reason for sediROM was to be able to use bluetooth headset profiles
plus fixing a bug in ICS which removes all existing bluetooth pairings after a reboot. Both (and many more) fine in sediROM

Tried again was able to transfer files via BT from cap to oneplus but not the other way round. Just got a file not sent on the oneplus and nothing on the cap

Thanks dude. I already find the cause for that problem and a first fix was successful. I will implement the fix in the ROM build and if all went well I can release v2 finally.

Hello to everyone! I would like to mention that I can't return to roger's stock as well (2.3.5). I have cm11 and I try to flash via odin3 v3.04 the I927RUXKJ5_I927RUXKJ5_I927RRWCKJ5_HOME.tar.md5. Odin process seems to be successfull, but when the phone reboots, is freezes at roger's welcome screen . I 've tried different stock roms and ways but nothing.. I try to flash these roms via TWRP (not odin) but nothing again . When I flash any custom rom there is no problem at all. It seems strange to me that everyone can gurrantee a successfull custom rom upgrade and if someone wants to downgrade to original rom, there are a lot issues. Please, I would like to install my original rogers 2.3.5 rom. If someone could give me a successfull tutorial, i would appreciate that. Thanks in advance.

On another note, people have mentioned that there'll be 3 versions, each coming with some extra bands separate from the other versions.
Could affect how this firmware can be flashed. Hopefully people can figure out if all versions support unified flashing of a custom ROM without any major differences.
EDIT: looking at some past zenfone unlocking and relocking instructions on XDA, I found that if you do the official unlock the serial number gets recorded by Asus and you won't be able to get OTAs even if you relock your device. Some people have found ways to unofficially unlock the bootloader but not sure it gives any freedom to flash custom ROMs, TWRP or even Magisk.

Good question. I was wondering about the same. Hopefully it's not like with Samsung and LG devices where it's a disaster to mess with them unless the development isn't for that specific device.
Regarding the bootloader, I'm not sure if it counts that much if you receive OTA or not once you've unlocked it because you can flash it manually. Not sure how it works with Asus though... It's a problem if you want to sell it later, but other than that, I don't see any reason to worry.

I have asus m1 pro i unlocked bootloader unofficially and i can flash magisk or twrp and roms. And it doesn't void warranty of you come to stock and lock bootloader,
While unlocking official way will remove access to future ota s and warranty will not be valid.

1 download firmware exemple : UL-ASUS_I01WD-WW-16.1210.1904.115-user.zip
do not unzip folder because it's signed
2 copy UL-ASUS_I01WD-WW-xx.xx.xxxx.xxx-user.zip to SD card
3 power off your device
4 press vol+ and power keys
5 press vol - key to choose Recovery mode
6 press power key
7 press vol- key to choose apply uppdate from SD
8 press power key
9: press vol- to choose UL-ASUS_I01WD-WW-xx.xx.xxxx.xxx-user.zip
10: press power key
11: wait until install from SD card complete
12: reboot device ( press power key )

You can grab ota link and post here by using this command when an update comes. (Computer required)
Code:
adb logcat > filename.txt
Press Ctrl+ C to stop recording logcat.
Open the text file and find the url. It should have the link with fota or fota2.

Hi, i managed to root my blackshark 3 KLEN2008060OS00MP3 With this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-way-bl-unlocking-twrp-ota-fix.4147441/page-6 so up to my understanding i have magisk and havent changed the system too much (im very very noob) i only did this because the tutorial was very good and step by step.
my phone has warned me today that i have available the joyui update KLEN2102020OS00mp4, can i just press the download buttom and install the ota without losing root?. and if i cant can anyone give me a small tuto of how to do it?

You can't... It will fail after the download cus you need a clean stock ROM to update your BS3... Do you have this update to share here?

USB connection of you with the computer continues to work ok after this 12/2020 update?
Mine no longer connects with the computer for data transfer and just keeps charging .... I posted on the topic of this and here also to find out if this update is causing this because I noticed it in my post after the update.

Sounds like you don't have the drivers for this phone... What name the device has when you connect it to the pc?

Smoke there is the problem I connect the Black Shark 3 on the PC and simply the device only charges ...
On the PC nothing changes and I open the task manager simply not even recognize the device or appear as an exclamation that failed to install the driver.
I have already tested it on several USB PCs and on 3 USB cables and USB 3.0 speed and nothing the phone only charges and does not connect to the PC or Macbook Air that I tried too ...
This is very sinister because the phone simply lost connection to the pc and only charges or I can use OTG adapter to connect pen drive to it and that accepts ...
NOTE: The Developer is already active and I have already marked it in USB Settings for data transfer and without chance the pc does not even recognize anything and the problem is not with the PC because I have 3 more devices at home and tested and all normally connects a Poco M3 Cubot Note 20 Pro and an Umidigi Bison all connect with the PC without a problem except this black shark that died the connection with the PC very sad that.

After several attempts to pause the download of the OTA at 100% (since upon reaching 100% was automatically deleted) I have it uploaded to mega, I hope it's all there and there is no problem and before anything else, make a backup in case something weird happens .... Anyway I will try to install it later, if anyone wants to do it before here's the mega link...

and *#*#1027#*#* , local update gives ota error (20) did u update it thru twrp?

sorry for my mistake. I only have MP3 recovery. now I used CN MR1 and cant get backup recovery MP4..

Install Guide
Download the ROM zip
Install a compatible Recovery (TWRP Recovery)
Perform a nandroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data/factory reset

very nice my friend nfc is perfectly working and by the way we got 240fps slow motion with this rom and i think also 22.6mp cam with bsg a11v7 snap apk very cool

I see. Because Z17 need to sign boot.img. If you modify the boot.img. Please use this tool to sign your boot. Use this tools. (I used it on ubuntu x86, I don't know whether it work on windows).

You can try to use some TWRP with sign boot. Such as 绯色_玻璃@weibo.cn.
Now Android removed /system/bin/dalvikvm, some flashable zip boot signer rely on dalvikvm to execute .jar. The boot signer I used is x86 version. So they dont work.
你可以尝试使用带有内核签名功能的TWRP比如之前绯色玻璃做的。
安卓移除了dalvikvm，一些卡刷签名工具依赖dalvikvm来执行jar文件进行签名，所以他们失效了

绯色玻璃3.2.3可以签名成功，但是不起作用，手机还是报错被锁。另外版本太低，根本就不适应A12/A13.魔趣3.3.1从来就没有签名成功过。
Crimson Glass 3.2.3 can be signed successfully, but it does not work, and the phone is still locked with an error. In addition, the version is too low to adapt to A12/A13.MoKee 3.3.1 has never been successfully signed.

What is your method? I used x86 PC to sign. Because I dont find TWRP by 绯红玻璃. Several years ago I used 绯红玻璃 but now I dont have it. The TWRP by yangcyborg dont have sign boot functions.

@Tims Fong do you need it to install nippon gsis ?

i take a look i got several twrps from the past got the bootsigner function inbuild i will upload here then you have to test cause i am not at home at the moment

ok twrps are up the second one is from nfound i think but the one from xiu is 100% build in bootsigner i think i can remember that the guy has bring up los 17.1 got also a twrp with build in bootsigner but don't know wich one good luck and let me know what is working for you
