Hi,
I don't use an external launcher (like Nova, Apex, Holo, etc).
It's either the standard launcher from Samsung or the Trebuchet Launcher from CM.
Does anybody know a backup application that backs up and restores the desktop settings (apps, widgets, wallpaper, etc) after installing a new custom ROM?

I tried the new adw launcher ex and I like what I am able to do with it so I decided to use it as my default launcher. Before setting it as the default, should I remove the widgets from the senseui screens that I have configured on sense before doing this? I guess what I am asking is will it still load those widgets from the sense desktop into memory when I boot the phone?

is there any custom launchers out there, which supports all the different HTC/Android built-in widgets? (ie. Friendstream, HTC Watch/Weather). I tried Go Launcher EX, but thats a no-go, and barely any widgets from downloaded apps. is on the widget-list either.
How can a widget not support a different home screen?
i'm second of this, i'm using aosp rom, and replace my homescreen with go launcher ex, but widget which support in sense, no works on go launcher, ex minimalistic text, etc.

HTC Widgets only work with Sense, they are coded to only work with sense and are not available to custom launchers.
Dear all,
I want to learn that how can I add or remove additional homescreen pages from Galaxy Nexus. There is no information about this even google. Before there was an icon for displaying all homescreen pages and you could add or remove new homepages.

What launcher are you using?
If the answer is stock you cannot add or remove pages.
you cant add or remove homescreens on the stock launcher
if you want to do that, you need to install a third-party launcher from the market
I have tried Nova launcher which works pretty well and is based off of the stock ICS launcher
I am using original firmware, not custom rom and it is pure ICS. What do you advice to me for modifying homescreen pages,

Since you're bone stock you really only have the option of using another launcher i.e. nova, apex (they use the resources from and function just like the stock launcher with added options) or adw, go, lp+ and many others. If you end up on a deodexed rom then you have the option of editing the "stock" launcher yourself By reading this.

I have 4 accounts on my phone, one of them is a Google Apps one. I like the way the default launcher keep my personal apps separeted from my work apps, but it don't have so much personalization options. We can't remove weather or google, or even move it from main screen, for exemple.
I have tried some launchers like Evie and others, but in some cases, my work apps even appears on app drawer!
Can you point me a good launcher wich works with Google Apps profile, like this stock one, with more personalization options?

how can I get all widgets with configuration imported? I tried with the Nova Launcher internal import, I tried Titanium Backup and Swift Backup. I always get only the replacement icons for the widgets, where I can setup a new widget configuration by tapping that icon. But the old widget configuration is missing, that means the widgets is not configured as it was on the export device.
