NFC not reading cards - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

My HTC 10 32GB grey from Taiwan can't read any of my NFC cards, which my LG G4 has no problems with.
However, the 10 can do NFC Android beam with the G4 just fine.
Over at the Taiwanese forums, most users can't get their 10 to read NFC cards too.
I'm using the latest 1.30 ROM.
Any ideas?

What NFC App do you use?

I can read nfc cards with the HTC 10 w/o any problems, the sensor is at the top, placed at the camera.

My USA unlocked HTC 10 can't read my Suica card using the https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=yanzm.products.suicareader&hl=en app but my old phone can. So I too am having NFC problems!

My USA Verizon branded phone does Android beam no problem but will not read any tags. I have a Sony camera with a factory embedded NFC tag it won't even acknowledge. HTC clearly has something screwed up with NFC.

My unlocked HTC 10 Connects nexus 5x and my Sony soundbar via NFC just fine.

Im also having issues with the HTC 10 not reading NFC tags.
I have come from the HTC M8 which worked flawlessly with my NFC tags. As soon as it was within range of a tag, it would read it effectively.
Now with the HTC 10, I'm putting the phone close to the NFC tag and..... nothing. No beep, no nothing. I'm having to sit there and wave the phone around for a good 30 seconds before the phone even recognizes that there is a NFC tag near by, and even then, it doesn't read it properly. It takes a good 2-3 tries to get it to read an NFC properly.
I'm hoping it is just a DOA device, so am putting a warranty call into my telco to have the phone replaced (since I purchased it from them directly).
Unless there are some other troubleshooting steps I could try ?

Try to toggle NFC on/off quick from the drop down menu and retry the scan.

I did more testing...
I have tried 2 NFC apps from the card providers in my country called FlashPay & ezlink with 8 NFC cards, as well as Easy Wallet NFC with a Taiwanese NFC card.
Out of the 8 cards, 2 could not be detected while the rest could be detected and read with careful positioning.
The Taiwanese card could be detected but not read, and will "crash" the NFC function of the phone every time, requiring a toggle of NFC off and on before it can read any card again.
It seems that NFC communications on the HTC 10 with cards is extremely weak / directional, while it works better with other devices because the signal from them is active.
In my testing, I can increase the success rate of reading cards with the 10 by holding the NFC card upright, with the long edge horizontal and the front of the card facing me. Then bring the card and phone together with the top edge of the phone aligned to the top edge of the card. I can post a picture if anyone needs it.

That did absolutely nothing. Besides, on the HTC 10, there is no quick NFC Toggle from the drag-down menu.
In saying that though, one of the other posts on here gave me a completely crazy and wacky idea for testing.
Normal NFC circuitry and phone builds are designed to read the NFC tags/cards from the back of the phone., because in HTC10's case, the NFC circuitry is built around the camera lens. Since NFC stands for Near-Field-Communication, why wouldn't it work from the front of the phone as well ?
So I tried it, and guess what. it started reading every single tag I have, from the first attempt, without fail.
Just place the NFC tag/card up near the top speaker on the front of the phone.
Would love for people to actually test this out and provide feedback/results if they could.
If this does work for everyone, then I would call it a major design flaw with HTC10's NFC.

Ditto. Also have the Calculator there.
Why does it always seem that the more we 'upgrade', the less features and the dumber things actually get ?
The M8 (a 2 year old phone) has more features and abilities than the HTC10 (which has only been out for a week and a bit).
How is this progress ?
Is there an app or a utility that allows modifying that drop down menu easily (even with root) ? Maybe something along the lines of a Sense Toolbox or something ?

I just tested it with a bunch of nfc tag stickers and android pay across the street. It read them all from the back when placed right above the camera and it read from the front around the speaker area..

Is there a way to tell if a T989 is new or has been used?

Other than the obvious ways is there some sort of hidden non-erasable call timer or counter on this device? If you call T-Mobile and give them the ESN will they tell you when (if) it was first activated?
Tmobile works with imei. Although i dont think they track that as well as sprint does. When you out a sim card in a new phone and it registers to the network it allows you to get a warranty for that phone meaning its new. If it has been used or another sim has been used to activate prior, their system will show no warranty. You take a gamble buying from non retail sources.

were there 2 little blue stickers covering the sd card slot and the sim card slot? and to answer your question, besides those 2 blue stickers, yes, you can call tmobile and ask them, though they may or may not know for sure how to find out. it depends on the experience of the rep you get.

I don't know if it has or had stickers, I don't have one yet. Other than the obvious ways (blue stickers etc) are you saying there is no "hidden" lifetime call timer menu that requires a dialer code like so many "dumbphones" used to have that can't be reset to 0?

I also have the sticker still on mine. The only way you can tell is by calling T-Mobile and asking them to send you a warranty replacement because you have software issues (I know you don't have any software issues). If T-Mobile sends a new unit then the phone has never been used!
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
It depends on where you buy it from. An actual T-Mobile store cannot sell a returned phone as new. They must send it back to the manufacturer. It's a strict policy they have, and can be fined if not followed. If you buy online then it's a gamble, but the best way to tell is if the box is still sealed with the stickers on the sides. That is even iffy with the GSII. I saw all the new boxes in the T-Mobile store I got mine from, and all of them only had one sticker on one side, so if you were careful you could open it without removing the sticker, and then put it back, and no one would know. Other boxes usually have a sticker on each side of the box, so you can easily tell if it was opened. If you get a replacement from Samsung themselves then you could get a refurb, but if it's because of a defect you can demand (nicely) a "new" phone under the BBB act.
Sort of a silly question if you ask me. You want to know how to discern if a phone which hasn't been available for but a few weeks, is used or new. And you haven't yet bought one.
If it comes with an unused magenta gba sim card not yet punched out of its credit card sized card, it is likely new.
what is the reason you want to know? are you buying it off of someone on craigslist or something? if its been used, im sure you will be able to tell in some way shape or form..i doubt the guy covered all the bases

Had you read the actual question carefully you would have seen it said "OTHER THAN THE OBVIOUS." Besides, the SIM would prove nothing. I never use the "enclosed" SIM in a device and when I resell it the original unpunched SIM goes with it.
Reason the question was asked is I am going to buy a supposedly new & unused phone from a seller and before handing over the cash I wanted to confirm it was indeed new and unused as it was described. I don't care if the box was opened and if there is a SIM in the box or not, the issue was I wanted to be able to punch in (whatever dialer code) and confirm there were zero minutes used on the phone. Many "dumbphone" devices have a "lifetime timer" that cannot be reset without major programming or at all.
Once again, my question was and still is: Other than the OBVIOUS ways (which would be obvious ), is there any way to tell if a T-989 device has been used or not? USED obviously refers to making calls or using data. I'm not questioning warranty which isn't an issue, only to confirm if it has not been USED for making calls or surfing the web.
Don't need any warranty lectures or where NOT to buy from lectures just the answer to the question.
if the phone is literally brand new and unused the battery would be in a sealed bag...i bought my phone off of someone from craigslist...he said it was brand new..when i checked it, everything was in its original seal and the phone had the manufacturer screen protector on it (with text outlining the buttons)..so i believed him
---------- Post added at 05:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:36 PM ----------
also, when you are buying something from someone on craigslist/ebay there are ways you can get a feel if the guy is legit..ask him for proof of purchase (perhaps a receipt or something)...you can most likely tell if someone is lying to you or if they are shady...i was originally going to buy it from someone else, he responded immediately to all my calls and texts.. when i asked him to show me a receipt he flaked..thus confirming he probably stole it or something
haha this guy is probably trying to sell off his used Galaxy S2 as a new phone and wants to make sure the buyer has no way of finding out.

that actually sounds more likely than what he is proposing, he seems to be very fixated on making sure it is 100% fool proof...if its new, its new (you can tell)...just ask the guy if its literally brand new and unused or if its been used for a few days...if it has all the seals, its new...if not, then just ask him how long hes had it and his reason for selling...theres really no point of him lying to you...i am an avid seller on both CL/ebay..i wouldnt lie to someone for something so meaningless...i am as honest as i can be because i dont want phone calls at 2am saying he wants a refund cause i lied
Android for whatever reason in this regard sucks. Windows Mobile had call-tracking, etc, which you could only reset through extreme lengths or if you had the know-how (something which is not allowed to be discussed here, thank God).
For whatever reason, Android, or even webOS does not seem to carry this feature.
It's unfortunate but it's the risk you take buying it from a non-retail/corporate store.
A lot on people on the XDA Marketplace do not understand the term "BRAND NEW". Most of these jokers will have descriptions like "BRAND NEW OMGWTFBBQ OPENED JUST TO SEE IF EVERYTHING IS WORKING, BOOTED TO MAKE SURE RADIO WORKS ETC".
How the hell is that brand new? They could have "opened" it once for 36 hours and it would still count as a technical one-time boot.
This is why if you can avoid it, buy it locally on Craigslist and not on the XDA marketplace (know that XDA provides very little support if you're f**ked in the marketplace; one other reason to only buy from there if it's your last option). Do what others have said, typically, in many instances, if the guy is lying to you, your gut will probably give you a "fishy" feeling. Trust your gut in that case and back out of it. If it is too good to be true, IT MOST LIKELY IS.
Besides the obvious, there is NO WAY TO TELL CONCRETELY that the phone has not been used. The only thing I can think of is to bring a jeweler's magnifying glass with you and look between the bezel and the frame. It's very hard to clean dust out of those areas and the moment you've removed the factory screen protector, stuff is going to get in there very quickly. This is the only way I know how to tell if a phone is used despite having a PERFECT looking factory seal on there. Even a can of air can't properly clean those little nooks and crannies. Also, use the jeweler's magnifying glass to look inside the earpiece for lint, etc. New phones should not have this.
That's the answer, with android, there's simply no way to tell.
Good luck.

I'm sorry but you asked if you could dial a code to see if there was a counter or minutes used? I don't think that's possible since you all the data is stored/transferred via the Sim card. If someone gives you a phone that has been used, but completely factory reset it. You could not dial anything to get that kind of data because it goes away with that persons Sim card Your question is hard to answer if you are asking in those terms. That is why I mentioned sprint or non gsm phones that do allow that kind of tracking.

the call minutes, as far as i know is like the CAR's odometer, and it stays in the phone, and not the SIM
but it can be wiped with a new ROM
that's why we have the ROM flash counter, to see how many times you have flashed your ROM
Actually the warranty has everything to do with if it was used or not.. if you're phone shows up in the system without warranty then it means it was USED. if it has warranty when you first use it its NEW and NEVER USED
If there is no warranty it means it was registered with someones sim card as used for CALLS or DATA.
No matter where you purchase a phone if it is NEW you will have a valid warranty in tmobiles system

I bought one from a guy off eBay for a "below market" price who says it's "Brand New" and I told him I would return it if it wasn't. I need a way to check it and prove it one way or the other when I got it. It's supposed to arrive Monday. I don't care how he got it, only that it was new. I called T-Mobile and they told me they would NOT give me any info even if I provide the IMEI.

How to resolve HTC one X 3G signal problems

Not sure if any of you are already aware that the HOX also seems to suffer from a similar problem as the problem seen with Apple (death grip) where the signal would be weaker depending how the user held the device.
See the tests this guy is carried out to highlight the problem:
http://www.jayceooi.com/2012/04/09/htc-one-x-antenna-reception-test/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkKNkC0f700
The software used in the test is "network signal info"
Basically most of us are right hand users, this means we tend to hold our phones with left hand, so we can use our right hand to do stuff like typing, now the problem with the poor signal relates to the left lower corner of the phone where the antenna seems to be, when we hold the phone this way the 3G signal drops just like shown in the video.
The tests seem to indicate if you hold the phone with right hand (meaning you will not be covering the antenna area) that the signal remains strong.
Based on this understanding I came up with a working solution so the signal does not drop when holding the phone with left hand, which is to use the phone upside down & it actually works,
Just download an app called "display orientator" which allow you to setup the phone to display upside down.
I have been using the phone upside down since yesterday and it works great.
I've even been using Skype video calling and it works perfectly, nothing is up side down
Think battery life is also improved as signal remains strong & phone uses less power.
Just wanted to add one more thing there is an app called "phono" which shows an icon in the top notification area of the network you are connected to, and with the three uk network the signal when it goes weak simply drops onto the orange network which in turn appears as connect but kills your mobile broadband, maybe the three team are just not aware of how crap the orange service seems to be, so these 2 tricks should prevent you from dropping into the orange network & improve your signal.
Personally I don't mind to use this great phone upside down as it does not have physical keyboard.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
The whole point is that we shouldn't have to use our phone upside down. Not a bad temporary fix for those with the problem but stupid imo.
Most no longer have issues after the latest update as well from what I've seen.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I think if it improves battery usage and connection even further has to be worth it.
The software also allows to change the orientation back to normal view with single tap.

So you posted a link to a thread with one post that has a problem totally unrelated to yours? I'm on AT&T using a One X that replaced a i9100 and can say it has the best radio of any phone I've ever used. I've used my phone all over the U.S. and last week roaming in Europe and never noticed a signal problem no matter how I'm holding it.
If your signal is marginal the position of the phone's radios can impact reception. People having different reception experiences based on their location, the network they're using, and/or their APN's is nothing new. Do you really think this is a problem that no one else would have noticed with a phone that's been in people's hands for over a month? Antenna-gate on the Sensation took less than a week to be exposed.

you saying the antenna in the US version is not located in the same position?
I'm saying that the thread you linked to mentions nothing about the antenna as the cause of the posters problem. I've used my device in different parts of the U.S. and in Europe and haven't had a reception issue. I'm guessing that what you think is causing your problem (the way you're holding the phone) is in reality your phone trying to receive a weak signal and fluctuating as you move the radio around as you're handling it. Borrow a friend’s SIM from another network and see if the phone still does it. Your phone could also have defective radio or loose internal connection. If everyone's signal dropped based on the way they held their phones it would have been a much bigger issue by now.
Solved
Hello everyone, I have had the same problem.
I solved it by removing the phone and slightly raising the lower contacts of the antenna GSM / WCDMA.
After a few hours it seems the problem has disappeared. Let's hope so
I must try this, although I think crappy network might be the real issue

At my college dorm, we use a certain type of lock in which we put our keys up to the lock, and it unlocks. I figured it used NFC, but I wasn't sure. Then I found this article.
androidauthority/forgot-your-olympic-hotel-room-key-use-your-s3-103325/ (NOTE: As a new user, XDA won't let me post outside URL's. Type in .com after droidauthority for the link to work)
I've got no clue what kind of hardware is in those locks, but I can say that it looks EXACTLY THE SAME as the locks used in my school. For me, that essentially confirmed they use NFC. I don't know who makes those locks, but my school uses the same looking handles and lock mechanism. When the card is held up to the lock, the lock flashes green. If I had to guess, the card acts as an NFC tag. When held up to the door, it will activate my card as any other NFC tag, verify it's me, and then let me in.
Using NFC on my phone, I was wondering if it was possible to do the same! From a logical standpoint (not a dev's standpoint), I would need to somehow steal the info off my card, have it stored in my phone as a usable format for the lock, and then I should be able to just hold the phone up to the lock to have it open!
You guys think this is possible? How would I go about doing it?
sorry that i don't have the answer, but i had this same idea! also wondering if it's possible.

I dont think these use the same frequency. Here in my office we use the HID Prox cards, but its not the same, the easiest way to know if you could do this is get the NFC tag reader software on your phone and try to read the card/key if it will see it I would think you might have a chance, if it doesnt see the card to read it, its not the same and you will not be able to do this.

Lol first thing I tried when reading this thread, but no go, we use the HID Prox cards to. Tried almost every NFC app in the market.

from what i've read...
doing what you're suggesting would pose a major security threat to all electronic door locks around the world. you're essentially duplicating your electronic key, which is not unlike duplicating an old school lock/tumbler key. unlike a traditional key however, this is an electronic key which means if you're able to duplicate it, you're also able to send/share it with friends around the world. in other words, we can set up a database of all the dorms / offices locks around the world and we can all have free access. doesn't sound like a pretty picture.
in reality, what our phones are capable of doing is READING the NFC tags. so if anything instead of thinking of your phone as the key, your phone can do the exact same thing as the lock, which is read the info off of the NFC tags. i know we have the ability to WRITE info onto NFC tags as well... but as others have posted there are issues of frequencies and i believe encryption which I HOPE makes this not possible for my security sake.
I'm sure if its physically possible(frequency wise) someone will make it happen. Its just like droid sheep, air crack, wifikill and the likes. Doesn't make it right but throw the technology out there and someone will make use of it.

I was able to do this with bluetooth and my Samsung Note 3 on Windows7. Got windows 10 and *poof*, it's gone as a bluetooth service. Now I'm scratching my head trying to figure out if that was a function of the BT dongle software, Dell security tools, Windows 7, or what!? A little off topic (not-NFC), but I have the same functional objective.

HTC ONE X wi-fi issue ( please read )

Hi guys, I have sent my phone off for repair to HTC as i have had WI-FI issues basically since I bought the phone last year, the wi-fi disconnects at weaker areas, whereas the other phones i have tested work fine..I have only recently realised that thi was a manufacturing issue after reading reviews online. So I have decided to send the phone off for repair, a week later (today) I get a quotation from HTC of £187! Bear in mind I still have warranty on my phone..HTC initially did not state the reason why I have received the charge, they just claimed that the work required was caused by the damage that isn't covered by warranty. So i went onto HTC chat and spoke to someone called Wioleta, she eventually told me that I have installed "unauthorized software" on my phone. Now I PROMISE YOU guys, i have not done any tweaking on my phone for a long long time...before I did install a ROM rooted my phone etc, but i had to set everything to default settings as i have sent the phone off before because of a different issue ( coloured lines on my phone - if you guys remember), I have done the procedure correctly and HAVE NOT been charged by HTC for the repair,so it was done free...ever since the repair I have not done any modifications to my phone or downloaded any illegal software...So I would like to know why they said i have done this and is it possible that they could have done this?? I have attached a picture of what Wioleta has sent me on chat...I think there is a mistake somewhere because i am innocent...and I have already sent them a complaint about it, but I really need my phone back... please can somebody give me some advice on how to tackle these twats! Thanks for reading.

Basically unlocking the bootloader breaks certain warranty. It's your word against theirs.......it's been unlocked before and now they throw it on faulty software (installed by the user) !

U dont think I'll get far?
My opinion......proving legally that it's not your fault will probably cost you more then they charge you now......it's not fair i agree but proving this now is not easy
I sent my old HOX back for wifi repair the other week I did put it back to totally stock ROM and recovery but left it unlocked and they never said anything at all about it fixed it in a day and then it was on the way back to me. Not sure if your in a different country than me but really a hardware problem and a well known one should be fixed regardless of what software changes you made to the phone.
Sorry if thats not much help but you could try and push them and say other people been fixed with unlocked bootloader by speaking to someone higher up.

I'm in UK mate.... really not fair
I have said the next thing before on a similar issue :
I am almost certain that all of this depends of the hands which the phone falls into, if it's somebody who is having an awesome day, had his coffee on time and had some fun time with the wife the evening before it might slip ....... but it also can be the opposite grumpy man and lives by the rules......if you very my point

That sucks they never even asked anything about that just asked me to send it back in original state and then just fixed it, but at least it should give you a good ground to stand on saying that other users phones have been fixed with unlocked bootloaders.
What if..................... I LOCK the bootloader and send the phone back?!

It's allready locked, originaly it says LOCKED, but if you unlock it will show UNLOCKED, after that if you lock it it will show RELOCKED like yours, so there is no way out just in (unlock)

Well man, i don't know, i only answered your question. It's sad that they blaim rooting and stuff for your wifi issue, i think that they changed your motherboard or maybe not, but it's their decision, so you probably can't do anything . Unlocking bootloader has nothing to do with wifi....but ****ing HTC.

zivio stari hvala na odgovor. I can't even pay them, their site has a glitch now! won't be touching HTC again, might as well go back to golden years n use a nokia 3210 without headaches and 7 day battery life
One time I also sent phone in because of WiFi and other issues...they said they replaced the WiFi module...but haha there isn't even a real module on the mainboard xD...so its the same as before but fixed then myself...my phone was also relocked and they didn't said anything...I wrote on the letter which goes also to them that WiFi is f#cked up and due to hardware issue from beginning it should be fixed with warranty..so stay on your right..say other ppl also had this issue from beginning that WiFi was bad and HTC should now that...and therefore you don't have to pay as this should be fixed under warranty

I have already paid them £27 to get my phone back without repair..I just want my phone back
I've sent mine in for the same reason in August. First time they repaired it for free but they didn't fix the problem so I sent it in again and then I had the same problem you have now.
I've been talking to several people at HTC in the meanwhile. And after explaining them that this kind of problem can't be caused by a software modification they repaired it for free.
The reason why they wanted to charge me something was because some stupid worker has seen that the bootloader was relocked and because that was not stock he wanted to replace the mainboard.
In short:
You're screwed. If you have 2 months time to discuss with them, so it. They will probably eventually repair it if they feel annoyed by you.
If you need it back now: Good luck!
What I would do:
Grab a cheap PAYG phone, unlock it, use it while kindly asking HTC to fix your phone.
Fixing the Wi-Fi is fairly easy on this phone, pop the back housing off the phone, get a small piece of aluminium foil and tape the top and bottom of the foil to the gold antenna next to where the volume keys are on the plastic housing, here's a video to help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbmGNL1dsf0&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Push the bottom of the phone away from the screen, once that's unclipped use a thin object to work your way around the sides (guitar pick for example, you may need two) once the housing is unclipped from the phone slowly pull them apart. This needs to be done slowly as theres some adhesive hold long the middle of the back on, here's a video to show you what I mean. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAr4WWbn9Hc&feature=youtube_gdata_player

thanks mate..will it work 100%? doesn't seem recommended to use foil inside a phone?

Android Pay NFC chip

Monday and Tuesday I used my android pay at work and then the past two days the NFC chip isn't being picked up. I noticed that it's not as strong as the one in my previous phone but is this chip weaker than other phones apple or android?
Make sure you're using the right part of the phone. The NFC chip is apparently just under the dual camera area.
The logo is the NFC area. Don't slap it against the top edge like an iPhone and you should be ok.
I'd say there's definitely something wrong with the NFC chip, maybe it's just under-powered, it's really hit or miss for me. Tried using Android Pay in 4 different shops, and it only worked once. I used both the area under the rear camera and around the Razer logo, no luck.
Definitely something wrong with my nfc chip too. Android pay works sometimes and not other times. Totally hit or miss
Sent from my Phone using Tapatalk
I think it's a bit hit or miss depending on the payment terminal. As strength seems to vary depending on shop.
Yeah, this phone is absolutely brutal for NFC range.
Tried it at lunch in my local fast food shop and took about 10-15 seconds to get it to work. I really miss the power of the iPhones NFC chip as it was as quick as taking it out your pocket and holding it near the terminal, scan the finger and done.
Now its like taking it out the pocket, unlock the phone then wave it around for 10-15 seconds to get the phones nfc chip detected.
I've tried at multiple vendors, it has worked at all for me. I just hold right under the camera on the scanner and it works every time.
never had an issue with mine scanning.... i do have an issue where it scans multiple times in succession, which causes the transaction be to declined for using multiple cards. Reading NFC tags read multiple times too.
My phone at the location did beep a few times and then send me a Android Pay error request form to fill out on the phone. Its a shop at work so not the worst place for it to fail on me but only happened at this location to me so far.
The chip really is weak or has a serious issue
half the shops I try it at say that i'm trying to use 2 contactless methods at once while the rest don't work at all
All I have to use it with is vending machines around here. I've had it work the times I've used it, but each time it would read incorrectly, forcing me to try again (working the second time).
the nfc chip doesnt seem to be as strong as it has been in my iPhone 6s Plus but its too hit or miss to say if its the phone or the contact payment terminal where the fault is. I have a local Tesco i have no problems with at 3/4 desks and one where it doesnt work at all.
The shop have said some people have issues at this desk but doesnt explain the one terminal at work in our shop where it worked for the 1st two days with some hassle and now doesn't work at all.
Ive been told to unlock the phone hold it to the terminal and wait for the tick before removing the phone but sometimes at the local shop at work in the 2 days it would error 1-3 times before being successfull however i just gave up at the point it didnt work at all on day 3
based on the poor nfc chip which i can only assume is hardware related as i dont see software correcting the issue im going to invest in an android watch with a nfc chip in it and use that.
Currently when i switched over from iPhone 6s Plus and iWacth 1st gen i picked up a Razer Nabu watch to get me through to xmas but feel i need a bit more than the smart features this is currently providing me with. Its not got any support as such as the data from the watch doesn't want to communicate with Google fit and do miss the nfc.
Unsure which watch to get so looking at this currently
