Samsung Keyboard - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Themes, Apps, and

Just noticed that the Samsung Keyboard control has a resizing option similar to what LG does.
It needs to allow a bit more stretch though ...

Use SwiftKey and if you use the TBO version it has a ton of great free themes. B

Tried it, Fleksy too. Don't like either of them.
I prefer to have the integrated keyboard be more flexible.

Anyway to get the Samsung keyboard to run on a nexus 6p?

the Samsung keyboard is garbage. use Google keyboard for keyboard perfection.

Bugs????
What Bugs????
If your a pecker then, yeah, swiftkey it popular. I didn't like it because it took up too much screen real estate. I use AnySoftKeyboard. It's decent, free, and supports non-english keyboards.
Swift key is disgusting~ lately it can't sync to FB.
Personally hate it

I actually use Thumb Keyboard.. on both my tablet AND my S3... I found that in landscape mode I can type extremely fast with it... it has a great little 'user defined keystroke' setting (where I can hit one button and my email address populates, or home mailing address, etc.. whatever we want). The prediction is actually pretty decent too.
Of course there's no fancy 'slide to type' , but I find that more of a gimmick , I type much faster using my thumbs
Swype beta here. Love it

[Q] Where's the quick control???

Hey guys. I have been using the stock browser with quick control tab (the one you can enable bby going to setting > labs) but the stock browser on my S4 does not have this option. Can you tell me how I can get this feature to work on S4? Quick control tab was available on my Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7, and even Note 2. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
The stock browser is customized by the manufacturer for each device. Unfortunately I don't believe Samsung 'blessed' our devices with the lab features.

Thanks for your quick reply. That doesn't make any sense because all the other Samsung devices had that feature... Is there a way to enable that on our S4 by any chance? I even looked for different version of stock browser on the Google Play store but I couldn't find one.

Wish I could help you, but I'm not sure =/
I hate giving this kind of response, but have you tried Chrome yet? It runs *really* well on the S4. Chrome Beta is available too with the advanced lab features.
I like Chrome a lot but it's just not the same without the Labs feature. Does the Chrome Beta have it by any chance?
Yes chrome beta does

I don't know if I'm going crazy but Chrome Beta does NOT have the Labs option that enables the quick control feature. I just downloaded and tried it.
You are correct, they are not there. Very disappointing!

Android kitkat theme

So I found this theme on the internet...
It can be found here. Only thing I can't install Google services so maybe someone smarter than me can figure it out

installed this and it looks awesome but search doesn't want to stay fixed after doing the language setting trick. I change the settings and it works great after that but after exiting the app it reverts back with force close. to be honest I'd rather just have the always on okay google search feature with nova prime launcher. the google launcher has little to offer in terms of customization.

Three LG software updates - July 25th

I had auto updates on so my phone only told me that three updates were done in the Update Center. No log of what they were.
Anyone know?

Those are not system updates, they are the LG apps that got updated like lg keyboard and other stuff from LG. Not sure why they can't put in the play store like HTC, Motorola instead of having one more useless app store like Samsung.
No one said they are system updates.
Software updates from the LG Update app. I already did the Keyboard update days before, so it wasn't that.
3 other packages were updated.

It's not an app store like Samsung, it's just an internal update system. The two are really different.
I don't care for the keyboard update. It messes up a lot of the auto correct.

I find the update did better for autocorrect than it did before plus I love seeing the word I am swiping go through the transition.

Try typing the word "you'd". Does it recognize it? Also, try ending a sentence with the word "at" and then type a period. Does it switch it to e.g.?

Why would we want a keyboard to decide what you should be saying?
I have an English degree and I frequently use intentionally bad grammar for various reasons. This is a huge reason I can't use Swiftkey either. Both of them are hell-bent on turning your typing into a single style with a concrete set of rules and patterns. Let ME decide what I want to say.

Decent alternative keyboard

I usually like to stick with stock keyboards that come with my phone but the samsung keyboard auto correct is garbage. For me at least. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a decent keyboard? Thanks
A lot of people like Swiftkey.
I have used Google Keyboard for years. It doesn't have all the useless "features" some of other keyboards do, but it's quick and it works.
I have tried others such as Swiftkey, but they always end up annoying the crap out of me, so I go back to Google Keyboard.
I have preferred how Swype works for years. None are perfect, each has quirks and pro's and con's. Swype is the best overall for my tastes to date however.
I haven't tried swiftkey or Swype in about 2-3 years. I guess ill try them out again.

I want the number row plus Chinese language support, seem hard to find. Google keyboard possible but the number row only available with "PC" type keyboard which is not so good on a phone. So still using Samsung keyboard currently

I'm using Fleksy right now and its not bad. Better than stock but takes some time to get used to it. It's fairly customizable as well.
