Archos 90 Cesium and touchscreen not working - Supported Devices

I managed to install Remix 2.0 on my Archos 90 Cesium. However the touchscreen doesn't work. If I plug a Keyboard or Mouse in the full size USB port they work but it's cumbersome and really want the touchscreen to work.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, the downloadable version of intel Remix was designed to be used mainly with Mouse+Keyboard. It doesn't come with touch screen driver. Only Jide's officially Remix supported tablets have touch screen support.

Yes, AFAIK that doesn't support touch screen. You're using a different version?

Intel Remix OS is based on Android x86/x64 which is non-native to touch screen. Nonetheless, with some ROM mod. skills, I believe you can inject touch screen driver into it on your own (I don't own such a skill though).

I need driver pack for this tablet. Anyone could help me?

Well, you understand its not going to work at all. Why not just stick to the Rhodium builds, because the HD and Touch Pro 2 ARE 2 COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PHONES.

The current GSM Rhodium build (In Reefer's thread) is Android 2.1. Doesn't have any of the Nexus One stuff (Like the App grid), but it is 2.1.
At least that's what my Rhodium reports it as.

Multi-Touch on Vogue?

This would have been amazing while I used WinMo on my Vogue. I would flash back from Android to try this if it ever came to the Vogue.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655830
Probably not
BTW what would be even nicer is if we could get this to work on Android
Yes, the linked article specifically references resistive touch screens, so it sounds like it could be possible to the right developers.

Its definitely possible since this was specifically developed for resistive screens not capacitive. There is even an SDK. I'd love to see this on Android with the Vogue.

Tested it out just now and it does seem to work... Kinda...
But it is something that we can look forward to in the future for these old phones.

Actually, the only reason I want to use this is because in PocketGBA (or PocketSNES or any other emulator) I can't press more than one button at a time. So when I try to use the directional pad, I have to pick up my finger to press buttons.
Would this multi-touch mod fix this?

Did you already tested?. I will try tonight but I think this requires wifi direct, but lets see.
Requires WiFi direct and compatible, powerful enough hardware (Snapdragon S4 and beyond). That means no love for us.

WiFi Direct have not hardware limitations, it limited only by sertification of devices. And Xperia S is not sertificated only because of Sony. I currently investigating how to port and enable WiFi Direct and screen mirriring for Xperia S for month. The problem is that qualcomm has not released wifi drivers with p2p functionality for S3 processor which we have. BUT on test firmware of HTC Sensation WiFi Direct seen working, and i currently searching for files in that ROM which i must copy. If anyone could help - try to find what files, drivers, libs etc. are needed to setup this features.
Sorry for bad English - i am from Ukraine

Why do you think so? If WiFi Direct have no such limitations, and Screen Mirroring which working over WiFi Direct, why it should have such limitations. It is open source technologies, but it is very strange open source - i couldn't find any sources on the web. So it's up to us to find how it work.
I investigated that there is only one device in the world wits Snapdragon S3 8260 which have WiFi Direct in official firmware - it is Asus Eee Pad MEmO 171. i have it's firmware, but it is in raw disk image formate and it didn't opening in any utility. Could someone help? link to firmware 625 Mb

Because S3 isn't powerful to run it without problems. It's like: you have an Ferrari with all of their goodies, but a VW Fox engine and put it to race against other normal Ferraris. It will go? Yes, but won't win.

From what I've read, those types of devices (or anything other than connecting it to a PC) requires OTG (On the Go) support.

Hi. Can you tell how you did it? Booted from a USB pendrive or from MicroSD?
Does the stylus digitizer with pressure sensitivity work?
Thx!

I found this on the Goog last night after seeing this thread.
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/remix-os-for-pc/D67FhZpMAvQ
I haven't gotten any further than wiping the Vivo as of yet, but I'm hopeful. Some say the stylus works. We'll see I guess. Also, the post is from March so I assume this is for Remix 2 but I'm going to be bold and try it with Remix 3. Let me know how your attempts go.
3.0 wouldn't even begin to install for me but I was trying to install onto a SD card. I WAS able to load 2.0 onto the SD card but it wouldn't boot. I finally installed 2.0 onto the internal storage and it booted right up. So far WIFI worked and I just jumped back into Windows to finish off the fixes outlined on the google page. It looked pretty and ran smoothly for the limited amount of time I had it running so far.
