Krexus-CAF is what the name implies. The Krexus unique combination of mods, on top of a clean uptodate and latest CAF source.
Built mainly of top of AOSP-CAF (with permission) and using only what's necessary from all the other great non-nexus device supporting ROMs (CyanogenMod, Dirty Unicorns, AOSPB, Tesla etc), Krexus-CAF tries to provide the maximum compatibility possible with CM-based device trees while keeping a small ROM base.
Lead Developer: @KreAch3R
About Krexus:
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can

A: CAF is one month behind with the security patches, don't ask me why

I am very proud to publish this rom finally, I loved it on my Nexus 5 and I am so happy it is now on the Moto X Play. Very nexus like with all the essential features they miss.
Thanks @KreAch3R @Vatsal & Dark-falcon for helping and teamwork. Very happy with the outcome.

Hi! I am new to the forum and I to own a Moto X Play and have just set out on my journey to unlocking and using roms to their full potentials. But I don't know how to create roms? I was wondering if you could somehow help me? Would talking privately be better?

There are a lot of guides on xda for that. And they will explain it better than me

Downloaded and tried. Just like a nexus rom with minimal set of features (too minimal for my taste). The best option for those who want stock rom with some minor customizations. Rom is fluid like every other. Also other users do note that the rom isn't pre rooted. Great rom . Thanks developer.

Wow!
Flashed at 78% yesterday, still having 61%.
Now I didn't have that much usage but I think the battery life is quite good on this one.
Also no memory leak issues here.
Missing some frequently used tiles on the quick-settings list, like vibrate, sound, orientation, wifi-ap.
Since this is the 2nd build I will wait for future builds to get these added in.
One thing annoys the hell out of me is, every time I install an app(locally),
I first see the All tab, pressing Next brings the 'Version' tab.
Is there anyway I can directly install an app just seeing the permission(All) tab,
like in other roms, or in other words any method to disable this version tab?
Thanks!
The launcher is a bit disoriented

AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.

I added also 3 non-AOSP features for a better user experience (Advanced Reboot, "Clear All" button in Recents and an option to delete screenshots from the notification area) and I'm NOT going to add something other.

Great Job
Great news!
I used stock AOSP by @Alberto97 on my Moto G 1st Gen. and it was the most stable and fluid ROM i found. Thanks @LuK1337 for the efforts.
The one annoying thing we Dual-Sim users experience is that there is an error message at the top of the Lockscreen indicating that the second SIM is not working. Please tell us how we can get rid of that :fingers-crossed:

I can't install, it write something about sse Linux and crashes twrp
Not sure if it is a issue with the Layers implementation on the ROM for Titan or with some themes I tested, but some the themes I installed (like element ui) have a oval icon instead of the usual circle one on the dialer icon. On the other apps all icons are normal (circle).
This does not happen with all Layers theme (inversion UI for example is normal).
Testing dirty flash over LuK1337 version.
UPDATE - Dirty flash worked no issue.
Themes seem to be all good as well. Havent seen any weirdness, especially in the quick settings/settings panels. Nice work srisurya95!

This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.[/SPOILER]

Device specific F.A.Q.:
Q: Why Horsebox?
A: BECAUSE HORSES
Q: Why is there an older security patch than Google released?
A: CAF is one month behind with the security patches, don't ask me why.
Q: Download link doesn't work?
A: Works flawless here. Try in incognito mode or a different browser.
Q: Custom Kernel/Xposed ?
A: I don't recommend. If you flash it, you're on your own.
I am really proud to publish this rom finally, It is smoothest experience so far. It is very close to Minimal OS. Give it a shot.

Seems pretty cool! I'll test it.
@Vatsal, as the thread said, this rom is based on AOSP-CAF, so in your opinion, is this better than it? I'm asking because AOSP-CAF is also uploaded by you, and I'm currently using and loving it.

Even from my pc the link doesn't working. The page open and just show me some search results irrelevant to rom. Same think with mozzila or Chrome.

This ROM is purely stock. No customisations. Its meant to be fully pure - similar to a Nexus.

@rahulsnair Video recording is working perfectly in this ROM with Moto Camera. See my thread about this https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/how-to-motomotorola-camera-official-t3551851

What about the camera flash and panorama mode? The flash was not syncing properly with the camera while taking photos and the panorama mode was crashing in most of the ROMs?

Oh dear! Seems like a bugless ROM. I relocked my bootloader and flashed the stock firmware today. Looks like I have to unlock the bootloader again.
Could you please post some screenshots here? & On which model have your tried the ROM?

Sweet. Tempted to go with this.
Edit: Does anyone know if encryption works on this? Basically what's been holding me back from switching from stock.

It should work because there are only bugs related to Camera in all the ROMs. Encryption works on the other ROMs. So, this ROM should not be an exception. Though I am not sure!
hi @rahulsnair
Working fine! Would you mind to keep on releasing this rom unrooted please? I'm using this rom unrooted for several reasons. Thank you in advance!!!

The ROM will be released unrooted . I can assure you that. I will keep this ROM max close to pure AOSP.
On next build I will try integrating Moto camera as default to the ROM so that users can avoid flashing it.
