Quick question ... I'm stock/rooted MOB30D (previous updated via WugFresh's tool). Can I just flash this over my current set-up?

should be ok, I would do a backup in twrp b4 just in case...

Is the boot encrypted?

Almost makes we want to ditch Android N on this device......

boot is stock...I believe SuperSU will disable forced encryption though

Can't get this to boot at all. Flashed latest TWRP, adb sideloaded the ROM, formatted data, factory reset... just hangs at the Google logo. Everything went through 100% with no errors. Been sitting doing nothing for 45 minutes now. Did the same thing when I flashed from internal storage. Any ideas?
Edit: figured it out. You are missing vendor.img from the package.

Still working great for me.

This is the factory image, bigxie rom is OTA update. No difference really but some prefer to flash factory images instead.

So what is the deal with the new radio/baseband? I don't see it posted in the OP nor any mention of it. I take it the rills in this release are to match that radio correct? Any how I thought I would bring it up.

[Q] Why Flash Bootloader and Radio? How?

In the changelog for 4.4 RC 1, we are told that we need to flash a new bootloader and radio. This has not been part of my normal process. Why do we need to do this? Also, I wasn't able to find any threads on suggested bootloaders and radios for PA. Please point me in the right direction if this is something I really need to do. (using a Nexus 5)

Dose of awesome sauce on this week from PA Headquarters, again. As you may know we merged 4.4.3 into our source. You will need to flash new bootloader, radio, Gapps and update to latest recovery before going forward. Many bugs have been also resolved on our bug tracker thanks to community’s reports, less to go.

Flash stock 4.4.3 and then flash PA. Did the same for my primary N4

I ended up unzipping the stock package and selectively flashing the stock Bootloader and Radio.
I'm not sure why I needed to do this, but I did it and I'm using 4.4 RC 1 now.
Thanks!
It was mentioned to do so but should have specified that it was only for those old 3.99 holdouts that weren't ready to switch. Mainly only applied to mako users.

You don't need to update anything then. If your device didn't come with any new boot loaders or radios then there is obviously nothing to update.

Flash the preview just like you would a factory image using the flash-all.bat, or modify the flash-all.bat by opening it in editpad lite or notepad and remove the -w to keep it from wiping your device. Or you can fastboot flash the boot and system images after doing a factory reset in TWRP like I did. For a preview beta version it's running pretty good. Lots of changes to the UI.
Now that my curiosity has been satisfied I'll be going back to 4.4.4 shortly.

Flashing 6.0 ROM AFTER officially updating to 7.0

Hey all. Posted this in noob thread but I've had no response. I got the device yesterday and it updated to 7.0 before I unlocked bootloader and flashed twrp. I then unlocked it, flashed twrp, and installed Pure Nexus (which is nice). I miss the theme engine on 6.0 ROMs however and I'd like to give resurrection a try. Is flashing a 6.0 ROM gonna give me any issues, now that I officially updated to 7.0?
Thanks in advance.

If you mean custom 7.1 rom then you don't have to change anything as long as your vendor is 90w. But be cautious, it's about to change in a day or two since November stock image is out and with it, new vendor and bootloader. If you want DP 7.1. 1 then you enroll in the beta program and you'll receive ota update and you don't need anything.

No problem, you will need to use ODIN to upgrade to Nougat first. You can download the firmware from here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195905698. After installing the new firmware, boot up the phone normally. After you've booted, follow these instructions http://www.droidviews.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s6-s6-edge-on-android-7-0-nougat/. Instead of following the steps to install Magisk, just install the ROM since it's already rooted.

Yeah it normally takes a few tries with the new firmware unless you flash to stock first. Glad to hear your got it booted. I am still working on the ROM and plan to add a few tweaks here and there when I think of it. I just wanted to get an initial release out until I have time to get it how I want. I will be uploading a new version later today with a few changes.

Version 2 has been uploaded. The download link is in the OP. If you have already updated to stock Nougat and installed TWRP, just reboot your phone and do a factory reset (this won't affect your personal data) and install the ROM.

I've already removed a few from the ROM, but I left the ones that I use regularly. You can remove any apps that you like by booting into TWRP, mounting your system partition and removing the app folders using TWRP's built in file manager. I will probably be uploading a seperate zip file containing all the debloated apps in case anyone wants to add any back.
