CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github Repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review

I had to send my primary device to get repaired so I'm resurrecting my old HTC One X and here comes CyanogenMod-12.1 for endeavoru. I've tough that maybe there is still someone using the old HOX interestend in flashing an updated cm-12.1 version.
This build has the latest cm-12.1 sources updated including snap from cm-13.0. It is featuring _kernel, a kernel compiled with UBER toolchain 5.3 and lz4 compressed (see post#3 for the changelog).
Flashing instruction like usual: perform a full wipe with TWRP for new layout, flash the ROM, flash the suggested GApps, reboot into fastboot mode, flash the boot.img exctracted from the ROM.zip, reboot into system, enjoy cm-12.1.

mostly _kernel related.
Download link in post#1, changelog in post#3.
If you're coming from my previous build dirty flash is ok (flash the ROM via TWRP, reboot into fastboot mode, flash the boot.img via fastboot, reboot into system); if not follow instructions in post#1.

Does it have the bottom Navbar? My HOX's soft keys are broken..

Apologies, problem solved when I used the correct boot.img (mistakenly used boot.img from Resurrection-Remix-LP-v5.5.8-20151019-endeavoru)

Doesn't HTC One X support Android Marshmallow? I cannot find any related ROM! All existing ROMs are Android v5.1.1.

I have everything working, smooth interface. But there is a problem with the camera, when switching from a photo to video mode the camera turns off the app. When you switch from video mode to photo mode the camera works.

I had 2 problems:
1. Camera when switching from still image to video, vice versa not problem.
2. Phone not response sometime. I solved this event by reboot it.

Please, use the BUG REPORTS tab on this thread. Explain how to reproduce the bug and attach a logcat and dmesg (if you don't know how to do that, check this app). Please, don't report bugs that are already reported or in the list of known bugs (below).
Xiaomi Redmi 1S known bugs:
Camera HDR mode doesn't seem to be working.
Alarm with device powered off and charging is not working (it works if not charging).
CyanogenMod 12.0 known bugs:
Memory leak preset in all Android 5.0.* builds.
Enabling LiveDisplay in Settings > Display causes lags.
Cannot move apps to sdcard.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q) Where are Developer options and Performance settings?
A) Go to Settings > About phone, and press five times on Build number.
Q) How can I enable root access?
A) Go to Settings > Developer options > Root access, and enable it for apps, adb or both.
Q) How can I set 3G only network mode?
A) Open dialer, dial *#*#4636#*#* , open first option "Phone Information", there you can set your preferred network mode.
Q) Why is cpu min freq raising to 1190MHz?
A) It's "touch boost", cpu min freq increases when you touch the screen to give a better response. When you don't touch the screen for a couple of seconds, cpu min freq goes back to 300MHz.
Q) Where should I ask other questions related to this rom?

I just flashed it so can't really tell anything about battery, but it generally seems to perform better than CM12.
I can tell animations are even more smoother, and some ripple effects that used to stutter are smoother now.

When official version ?
My phone randomly rebooted 3 times today. I wasn't even touching it. No app was running in foreground. Stock kernel.

Been running this for 3 days now, only issue is with magisk xposed not working. The framework will install but it warns of not being compatible with arm64 something or other.
On reboot got force closes on a variety of apps and had to remove the framework to rectify it.

New bug (1/9/18 build), stock music player (and 2 from play store) force close on opening, had to install vlc which works fine.
Bluetooth File transfer doesn't work either on this build, audio does though. Can I dirty flash latest build, just wipe cache and dalvik? BTW is anybody here?? ?
Yes, I'm, but I'm using crdroid 7.1.2. More stable and better battery life.

AFAIK this is from the same source as lineage by vm03, so updates should correspond. Last things on lineage thread indicated issues with vm03 kernel, which is now in this ROM. Just would like some communication with the dev, pointed out 2 issues now but no response, will gladly supply a logcat if requested.
And of course I massively appreciate the devs hard work on these roms, but more people will be willing to give them a go with better communication. Many thanks.

And battery life is one thing I have no complaints with ??

Hi pinkston,
Well, we know about issues with sound and vm03 try to fix it. If we will need your help - you will be noticed!
Sorry about not good communication, but as fore me (idk about vm03) much easy to speek russian on russian 4PDA forum, where i give A LOT of responce to every message. I will try to increase my ability to communicate with English-speaking people =)
Thanks for the reply, sound works fine for me with the stock kernel, Bluetooth speaker works too, just music player won't open, says "no app can perform this action". Sony music magisk module works though. Strange.
Of course I understand the language issue, I will check 4pda more often. Going to dirty flash tonight but may backup and flash stock kernel over it.
OK.
Didn't bother flashing boot, stuck with vm03 kernel, sound is fine so far.
Bluetooth file transfer now works.
Music app still crashes, Sony magisk still works so no worries, still a bug though.
That's it for now I think, phone's only been up for an hour or so, will report any further issues as they arise. ??

=====================
* upstream
* October Security Patch
*If you get error 7 - instal bootloader-tos373j and official TWRP recovery from same download folder
Download: Google Drive
Should I expect error 7? Never happened with previous builds. Seems a bit of a pain to flash official recovery, then presumably reflash twrp?

Install the apk mate. It's the obvious step.

Opps, didn't expected that that was it. Works fine now!
USB OTG is not working for me. Tested with a few devices and cables that worked with stock ROM (DAC, keyboards, flash drives).
USB Host Diagnostics app nopes:
ANDROID API / Device detected - No
VERDICT / 3rd party apps - No
Everything else is positive except ROOTED API; I didn't root the phone so N/A there.
Thanks for the build for 'ye old zenfone - everything else seems to work flawlessly.
is the volte working??
and how is the battery backup??
