open a cmd prompt on pc while connected to device and type
Code:
adb shell
su
ls -al /dev/block/platform/soc/7464900.sdhci/by-name
look for the line containing "aboot"
if for some reason you cannot see that line because it is the first of many just in the cmd prompt right click edit> copy then paste to a txt file
then run this cmd in the same cmd prompt window
but replace the ## with the ## from the output of the cmd you previously ran
Code:
dd if=dev/block/mmcblk0p## of=/sdcard/vzw_aboot.img
on your sdcard will be vzw_aboot.img that is what is needed.
this can be done in the same fashion for all carriers just replace the "vzw" with your carriers name before uploading here.
all this is doing is making a copy of your aboot and placing it on your sdcard, there is no risk of damage. but as always Im not responsible if you mess something up.

all is sent, they should be working on it

very good morning
thank you guy's!

Great job guys!!

IMEI backup/restore tool for Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T SGH-I337 & Bell SGH-I337M
Brought to you by AntaresOne
NOTE: This is only for Galaxy S4 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, Galaxy S4 Active version is here, Exynos 5410 (GT-I9500) version is here.
To devs: modifications & redistribution are not allowed. Contact me before including my work or any part of it in your stuff.
Explanation
What is IMEI?
Wikipedia
Why should I backup it?
When you start to mod your phone, sometimes may happen that you lose it (a bad flash, a wrong mod...) and without your phone is like this. Shortly, you lose mobile network forever.
The Qualcomm variant of Galaxy S4 doesn't have IMEI stored in EFS as most people think, it's stored in another place. Partitions to backup/restore are 8, each is required by the system to have IMEI. These are: EFS (there is IMEI's country code), modemst1, modemst2, m9kefs1, m9kefs2, m9kefs3, backup and fsg. It doesn't do miracles, so if you lose IMEI and don't have a backup, you're lost.
Features
Complete IMEI backup
Autozipping of saved partitions
Installation
Download tool from the link below
Put the zip file in your sdcard
Reboot in recovery
Install zip from sdcard
Choose downloaded zip file
Reboot system
Usage
When installed, the "imeibkp" executable goes in /system/bin. Obviously root is a must. This is not an app, so to run it you must use Terminal Emulator. It's very user-friendly and n00b-approved (joking :laugh, normally you shouldn't run into issues while using it.
Open Terminal Emulator
Write su and press enter (this is to obtain root access)
Invoke this tool by writing imeibkp and pressing enter
To restore just invoke again imeibkp
In case you want to export your backup, it is in /sdcard/IMEIBackup and called IMEIBackup.zip (Internal Memory on PC through USB connection)
If you change ROM you'll lose this tool (you'll not lose a backup already made), in this case just follow again Installation steps

Tool is very much appreciated. Is there another way to install this(and other tools), other than rebooting to recovery?
Thanks.

I just tried that(cat /proc/cmdline) and somewhere in the middle of all the info that came up, I saw samsung.hardware=SGH-I337M. When I run imeibkp I get:
unknown device! GT-I9295 , GT-I9505....SGH-I337 is required
Also tells me busybox not found(not sure if that is required)
Thank You so much DEVS for your time and efforts for all of us in the Android community!!
Thank You for your awesome work!! works flawlessly.:good:
I didn't realize the i337 and i337M were so different that this very useful tool can't work on the M version.

@AntaresOne
I'll attach the output of my commands here as a zip to make it easier for you. I have the i337M version.
AFAIK i337 is the bootloader locked AT&T version and i337m is the Canadian version with unlocked bootloader but no other differences.
Thx for making this tool and now fixing it for us Canadian galaxy s4 users !
Cheers
//edit
The zip name isn't the best lol there's no actual imei files included, only the output of the 2 commands your asked for

These are for the H815 variant only. Files are from software version 20B (Android 6.0 Marshmallow).
Included below: TWRP-flashable stock rom, boot, modem and bootloader zips. KDZ and individual images are also included.
*There is NO anti-rollback qfuse used in this update... you can downgrade using LGUP HERE. You can also use LGUP to flash the 20B KDZ.
Please do not mirror my files!
20B NOTES...
1. Knock code should be back.
2. Not sure what else has changed yet...
Requirements:
You must have TWRP 2.8.7+ installed to use these files. Thanks to Dees_Troy as always for that. And, of course, you must have your bootloader unlocked for TWRP to work. Currently only H815 EU and (some) SEA variants have official unlock through LG's unlock page HERE. Please do not ask if "model x" is supported... did you unlock via LG's official unlock tool? Yes? then you can use it. No? then you can't... and you should just flash the KDZ instead.
If you have a locked bootloader and want to upgrade... just use LGUP and flash the KDZ. Don't risk it with FlashFire.
Install Directions:
These directions should be used by everyone who wants a rooted 20B system. Don't want root? Then it's probably easiest to just flash the stock KDZ... or just skip the supersu zip in the directions below.
1. Download the boot, modem, bootloader and system zips listed under the download section and place them on internal or external sdcard.
2. Also download the latest SuperSu zip from HERE [Thanks to Chainfire for his auto-patching boot.img version!]
3. (re)Boot into TWRP... don't wipe anything.
4. Backup current partitions: boot, system, data, efs
5. Install boot, bootloader, modem, system and supersu zips- ADD SUPERSU LAST! (Install > select zip > press "add more zips" > select next zip > repeat)
6. After all 5 zips finish flashing you can reboot! (if TWRP asks if you want to install SU, NO!!!)

LG-H81520B-Flashable.Modem.zip
This is a flashable stock 20B modem.
LG-H81520B-Flashable.Boot.zip
This is a flashable stock 20B boot.img. Boot.img contains kernel + dtb + ramdisk.
LG-H81520B-Flashable.Bootloader.zip
This is a flashable stock 20B bootloader. It contains aboot, factory, hyp, laf, pmic, raw_resources, rpm, sbl1, sdi, sec and tz. Do NOT wipe system before flashing this zip. Zip checks model before flashing.
Also, KDZ + all stock images for 20B are available here.

FAQ
Q: My device shows the wrong software version in settings.. how do I fix this?
A: This is related to the "cust" (customer) partition on your phone. Using TWRP or a "Root Explorer" type app you can delete the current files in your Cust partition then you should have the proper version showing. I am not a fan of adding or flashing the cust partition... so I don't include updated cust partitions in the flashables. The cust folder/partition is in the root of your main directory.
Thanks Boss! U the man, as usual...
thanks @autoprime
I suggest you add a "NEW" on the title of the thread! because it seems the old thread! I had not noticed it at the beginning!
Thanks Auto!

Hi, anyone try Xposed with this version ?
can this modem be used on 20A based ROMS? - because my LTE reception with 20A is pretty weak, wants to slip back into HSPA mode in fringe areas where other phones have worked well.

Sweet! The KDZ is there
So for those of us with a locked booloader, no root etc, we can just flash / update to 20B via LGUP and retain all of our nothing fun (root and locked bootloader)?

Xiaomi Mi 5 Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM; MIUI 7

Official Xiaomi MIUI 7
Xiaomi Mi 5
Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM
Introduction
This topic will just gather all available MIUI ROM Versions (Fastboot and Recovery) for the Xiaomi Mi 5. I will keep it up to date, as good as possible.
The same information you can get from the official MIUI forum, but as the forum is big, it' s nice to have a short summary here. Please be aware that for the moment there is only the China stable ROM. Included languages are some Chinese + English.
Stable ROM
Waiting for global.
Developer ROM
Waiting for global.
Developer ROM Naming:
It's all about the date. like MIUI6.3.17 is 2016/03/17
Disclaimer
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. P You are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
Why this disclaimer
People often fail to read and do stupid stuff. The disclaimer is just here to remind you of this. Mistakes happen, mistakes happen fast. Think before you act.
There is a good amount of guides online on how to flash a Fastboot ROM on a MIUI. But there is something new for locked phones. The old recovery is gone , it got replaced! So be careful, know what you are doing before you do it.
Hope this is helpful to you guys.

It's up to you.
I unlocked my phone on the first day of use, did loads of updates through stock recovery and mi-flash, and none of it locked my bootloader.
Assuming you do it right: Recovery ROM's won't lock it again
I tested it and so far: Going from 7.2.3 to 7.2.4 to 7.2.5 to 7.2.6 did not lock my phone again.
But if you want to you can use the flash_all_lock.bat or flash_all_lock.sh to lock the bootloader.

These scripst are identical to the flash_all.bat / flash_all.sh up to the following lines:
Additional lines in flash_all_lock:
Code:
...
fastboot %* erase devinfo
...
fastboot %* oem lock
....
So as long as you don't flash using flash_all_lock, you should be fine. And your bootloader should stay unlocked.
But things might change, I only tried it with all available firmware versions, no guarantee for the future. I don't know about that.

I tried flashing 7.2.5 & 7.2.6 using mi flash (flash_all_except_storage.bat) tool. MiFlash says success but I think it bootloop. I've waited about half an hour for it to boot. It's just showing mi logo and running three dots at the bottom. How long more should I wait? Any thoughts?

Is this up to date?
I read on en.miui.com that Xiaomi takes copyright stuff serious now, but dunno.
Ok stop and think about that for a mine. They take copy rights seriously? They rip off the design of IOS for the software and every other oem on the hardware.
And yes. It is up to date. The Mi-store is a known warez market. It is only in the China based versions of their roms.

I'm sorry if you find the truth negative. I was just explaining the reasoning behind our stance.

Cut it, and be reasonable!
All companies copy. (So does Apple.)
And the worst evil are phones that ship with a Webbrowser (according to your logic). As web-browser allow to download childporn and other highly highly illegal stuff.
So the question is: Are Web browser banned as they may give access to some stuff or is the user in charge?
Is it in the ends, the users fault if he broke any kind of law?
It's important to keep people aware of it, but don't overreact! Keep it reasonable.

[TOOL] HTC 10 (M10) All-In-One Toolkit V1.0.2 [3-5-2017]

Post 1 - Information
Post 2 - Downloads and Release / Change Information
Post 3 - Bugs, Future Additions to the GUI, FAQ
PLEASE READ THE PARAGRAPH BELOW THIS LINE
It's been a few years since I made a toolkit. Since my last toolkit that I released, which was the M8, I had surgery done, graduated college and went through a ton in life. I haven't been in the Android scene in years. As much as I would have loved to, life has been hectic. I announced that I was going to release a toolkit for the HTC 10. It's been a few months since that announcement but here it is. I'm pretty sure there is quite a few kinks and bugs I'll need to fix, but I spent a lot of time on it and my eyes are tired at looking at all my code. Trying to remember how to code/script was hard enough as is, but it's definitely worth it for you guys. So to announce my software, I would like to present my toolkit for the HTC 10!
If this helped you out, Please press the thanks button and if you want, you can always donate!

FAQs
Q - Why Did you make this?
A - To make life easier
Q - You are limited on features. Why?
A- You can always make a request!
Q - Will this work on other devices?
A - Only the fastboot commands, HTC Dev unlock (device specific) and the HTC drivers. Toolkit is made for the specific device.
Q - My Anti-Virus says your program is a virus. Is it a really a virus?
A - No. It's a false-positive! My reputation on here shows otherwise. Here's some more info if you are skeptical.
https://www.autoitscript.com/wiki/AutoIt_and_Malware
Q - Will you support more devices in the future?
A - If people REALLY want, I can make it happen. I just don't want to make anything that nobody would use.
Q - Awesome! Can I make a donation?
A - Of course! Do not feel obligated though. If you would like to make a donation, you can click the button on my toolkit or under my username.
Any feedback is always nice!

My phone has unlocked bootloader, still S-ON, used the tool kit to flash TWRP.
Everything run successfully but the phone can not enter Recovery to run backup. It just restart the phone normally.
I have tried many TWRP version, but still can not enter the Recovery.

Were you trying to reboot into recovery through the toolkit? If so, I'll test the command when I'm back home and look at the script. Have you tried doing so manually?

I figured by now most people would realize how dangerous toolkits are, and would have stopped using them.
It's much safer to not use a toolkit, and you learn a lot more by learning, and performing the commands yourself.
Why would you have an S-ON command so close to a GETVAR command? Just something someone will accidentally click.
I've see many people come to IRC asking for help, saying "I didn't do anything to set my S-ON, all I did was use a toolkit."
The laptop is full of viruses and I have to take format

I agree in part.
Yes, you learn a lot more by studying and asking how to type the commands yourself, but I see this toolkit (hasoon's is the only one I've used) as a way to begin with all this. I mean, you have to start somewhere and this is a valid way of doing it. You click some buttons, follow the instructions and if you are careful you can be sure you won't mess anything up.
That's how I started learning until I was able to do things myself. I don't have s-off because I don't know enough to be 100% sure I won't kill my phone, so I prefer doing some things (flashing kernels) from fastboot instead of recovery and not experimenting with different radios and such.
In short, you have some very valid points, but people has to start somewhere and this one is too a good way of doing so.

Works just fine for me, bud
File ok?
Can anybody tell me that the file is ok? thats the original file of the All-in-one Toolkit V1.0 downloaded today fom the original source...
Hello I can't download the toolkit. Every time it's taking me to download some chrome addons. Seems very fishy.
The file in the previous post also seems not legit. Toolkit is supposed to be 40 MB, this file is about 1MB...smells of viruses to me.

@ulmcity , looks legit @mazdur , as long as @hasoon2000 has been doing this i dont think he'd post a bogus link especially not on xda. Follow the link in the OP and itll take you straight to dev-host, if it doesnt then YOURE doing something wrong dude. Heres the link.

Question Phone Bricked : dm-vertiry device corrupted - verity_ctr

Hi
I am very new to root
I followed the guide for rooting the phone from the pinned guide on the xda forum.
It worked prefectly, however I was getting a weird message in that the device was unsafe but everything was working fine and I thought the oem locking the phone might getting rid of it (I know it's stupid and caused problems) using fastboot oem lock
I now have the following error
Code:
Qualcomm Crasdump Mode
-----------------------------
dm-verity device corrupted
verity-ctr
Here's what I have attempted to fix this :
- getting back to fastboot and then using
1. - just booting the original
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification boot "/Users/allemandinstable/Downloads/9Pro_F75_Europe/9Pro_EU_F.75_boot.img"
2. - flashing it back
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash boot "/Users/allemandinstable/Downloads/9Pro_F75_Europe/9Pro_EU_F.75_boot.img"
but none of them work and still gets me the same error when booting
from the 9Pro_F75_Europe.zip which I downloaded [LE2123]
OxygenOS 13 F.75 boot : with Magisk v25.2

which was my version of OOS13 (F75)
- i looked for other threads and the unbrock guide bellow
the OTA zip files and stuff do not seem clear to me (don't understand) as I am again very new to all of this.
If anyone could help me unbrick my phone (and if you can explain me along the way what to do, how it works, etc...) it would be very nice of you, as I am pretty disappointed right now not having any phone.
Thank you

I think I expressed myself badly, I am from EU and this is the correct phone model (written at the back of my phone and also was visible in the parameters on the stock firmware )
I specified it to provide everything that could help at some point for people with better knowledge
the mistep was to fastboot oem lock after the root was completed ( which wa ssuccessful )

There is no MSM for OOS 13, you have to use MSM for 11 and then update again to 12 + 13. Please read the guide I linked, it tells you all of that

Lol you saw the orange message that your device is not safe because of the unlocked bootloader and decided to re-lock it? You have to use MSM tool now.

After you get msm'd back to a working phone, get back to oos13 and root again, install magisk fully and then try this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/goto/post?id=88584503
That's a magisk module for removing the orange warning text. You have made a mistake that many of us have made before, welcome to android rooting

Thank you for your kind message, that's a weird sensation of feeling that stupid when trying out things.
Now I know that before doing anything, I will have a look on XDA Forums 🥹
