Sent from my KIW-L24 using XDA-Developers mobile app

, thanks for one more bringup . Waiting for my 5x from Sc, to taste this rom .

@TeamMex lol look who is in town for this phone. Missed your work brother . And here @yuweng u did fantastic job of bringing aosp to this phone. Caf is always the best. I am going to root my this new phone now .

Is fingerprint supported in this version or not??

Instead of asking why don't you flash it and find out yourself?
but the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Just like every other ROM. I'm sure there will be a BIG announcement if fingerprint support ever comes to this phone. At this point I hope it never does.

it was more of a sarcastic comment...just tired of all these lazy users asking about fp support when they don't bother to read or try anything. they want everything handed to them.

well old friends are always missed klozz....

what a fantastic ROM! I was on Resurrection Remix, and gave this a try, this is even more fluid and battery back up is much better......I also tried AICP but i couldn't fix the random screen off issue though
I have two questions, if someone can help:
1. How do I get "Screenshot" in Quick tiles? The + button does not have it as an option to add to existing tiles, I often use it and sorely miss it. I tried using Gravity Box but that seems to screw up aesthetics as well as conflict the selection options.
2. How do I uninstall system apps? (Exchange services etc) I cannot seem to find it in the Settings menu anywhere and TB fails to uninstall (they all come back after a reboot!)
All in all, am sticking with this ROM anyway! Best I've used so far, but for these two minor quirks I have
Small bug: Ringtone and Notification volume are always linked, in spite of deselection the option to link

nandakalyan said:
1) volume up+ power triggers screenshot . u don't need to use any app or any option for this .
Else still if u need , just goto power options and add screenshot there.
2) u can try es file explorer to uninstall system apps .
U can ever delete the system app (in ur case exchange services) folders from twrp .
Els try root uninstaller from playstore .
U can separate volume adjustments from sound options .

That is exactly what I said isn't working (notification+ringtone de-linking)
Screenshot is more a matter of convenience, than needing to press two hardware keys
Other ROMs seem to have an inbuilt System app remover, I already removed those using Root explorer anyway, but asking if I missed something which is already in the ROM that I am unable to find.

All the ROMs based on CM carry the same issues/bugs that exist in CM. FP doesn't work in CM, it won't work there as well.

I was having issues with the CM 13.0 build because of connectivity. Mobile data was very bad, speed and availability wise. I tried all the suggestions in the thread but nothing helped. I flashed this ROM last night and it felt just as smooth as the CM 13.0 compared to the horrible performance of the stock ROM (I was running B140 Debloated on KIW-L21). I am now sitting in the train on my commute to work and I have to say: speed and reception of mobile data is awesome!
Thank you so much for working on this! When this is running stable I do not see a reason to switch to another ROM. Great work!

is anyone else having Wi-Fi auto connect/disconnect issues? Each time I have to manually select the Wifi network to connect to Also, the signal strength always seems to be showing one or two bars (in Wi-Fi) even if the router next to the phone!

Well here is the feedback !.... The clock is not visible ! Its white in color and I can't see any text over it !
2nd whenever there is data switching between 3g to 2g networks the phone network disconnect itself. This was not an issue with the stock ROM. (Maybe issue with our sim telephony at cm device trees)
3rd whenever yo go into 4g area ! Phone does not show 4G symbol. Whenever I switch back to 3g it shows h+ icon . I have attached the screen shot in which there is no 4g symbol in which tiles Re down !

First off, to my surprise, the "stable" rom greeted me with continuous dialer and setting fcs. Then I flashed the issue fix and the FCs were still present. So I somehow managed to skip the startup wizard and then trebuchet fcs. Continuously. So I opened a up the notification panel and entered settings.
In pac settings, pac console fc. Then I cleared data of trebuchet to get it working. Couldn't test multitasking as I changed the rom xD

Thank you I will work more on Pac Man Rom, Please Me report any error found via message
Installed this ROM four hours ago. Here's my review:
• Smooth like a dream.
• Fast as a Bugatti Veyron.
• Incredible battery life (better than any Lollipop [5.1] ROM I've tried).
• Features perfectly ported.
Only thing (literally) bugging me is the Dual-SIM thing. If using only one SIM, it does still show the second SIM info (No SIM Card) on both lock screen and notifications drawer. Attempted fixing it via two Xposed modules (HideMissingSIM and Remove Moto G Second SIM Info), but none worked. HideMissingSIM had absolutely no effect, while Remove Moto G Second SIM Info only removed the lock screen label.
Anyways, thanks A LOT for this beautiful ROM, and please, keep up the good work!

Soon I will analyze and create a fix for the ROM N5XPA Sensor
Hi, I like this ROM. Nice set of features. Some issues / questions
1. Deep sleeps and does not come out. Have to reboot. Is there any log which might help?
2. SystemUI hangs repeatedly, but not often, generally observed after a screenshot. Again, a reboot is required.
3. Is there another kernel that I can use? I'm not a fan of the Pinkman kernel since it has been out of development lately. I am looking around, but I would love a suggestion.
4. Active display does not work.
5. Do you plan to further maintain this project? Just asking, not for an ETA though.
6. Please put up instructions about flashing the GApps in the OP.
7. Does not seem to reboot through the power menu, gets stuck on the rebooting screen.
8. Flashlight does not work either.
If I can provide you with any logs which might help, let me know.
Thanks!

Is this version of Flyme different from this other one for Quark that got shut down immediately by mods due to Chinese malware? You also posted that one.

You posted both versions here in this forum (one current, and one closed down) -- so let's differentiate between the two. I understand English is not your first language (my wife is Brazilian), and I understand some syntax/wording can lead to confusion. But your statement above can have two meanings. So, let's try again.
This version right now -- in this thread -- has malware? or does not?

Previously I posted directly from Flyme server only it was closed because of it.

The issues Meizu shop did not accept, does not know for what reason, already researched to know and also do not get results .... I'm thinking that only accept the official system devices will search a little more.
Can you add some more features and screenshot. I want to know what i am flashing before i flash. Also mention the major bugs
you gotta give it to Meizu, Flyme is a real eye candy but it have its downs, i've been using it for a couple of days already and i can see its elegance and eye candy, the bad thing about it is that it tries hard to emulate the iPhone in some aspects, in some other areas excels but it tries to hard to be an iOS replacement that it feels like a copycat of iOS. i will be posting a more in depth review about this room soon.

- Camera problems per usual. (I may remove the stock cam next build)
- Let me know and I'll try to fix.
Notes
- TWRP and backups - While TWRP 3.0 will work fine on backups between 7.x ROMS if you are running 7.x and try to restore to a 6.x ROM it will fail to restore the data partition. If you have the need to do this you MUST use TWRP 2.8! (Thanks to Sunn76 for that info)

I highly recommend a full backup before flashing this ROM.Again,I am not responsible if you lose any or all of your data!

Downloading, I wish youtube problem at 720p is resolved
Edit #1: The zoom in youtube videos continues, the "solution" I found is to see the video to the desired quality and when the error occurs, press the home button, open the multitasking and return to the video, this corrects the problem, in some Cases zoom back
PS: I speak Spanish, so I used the google translator

This issue I believe has been fixed by hennymcc. It should be fine in the next build.

Yeah, hennymcc just made a few commits to the device tree some hours ago that will hopefully solve the YouTube zoom problem.
And you're welcome. Please do post any findings you may have. Thanks!

Thanks a lot for your great ROMs! I'll try this one right away because I always considered slim to be one of the smoothest, fastest ROMs out there. The only reason I didn't use it, is because there wasn't a Nougat version, but now there is! Thank you so much!
EDIT: After a few minutes of testing, I've found a few minor bugs. One of them is quite annoying, the other two can be ignored in my opinion.
1. When enabling and disabling the navigation bar multiple times in a row very quickly, SystemUI crashes. It happened by accident, but it was quite weird. (however it doesn't really matter because 'normal' people would never experience this)
2. When opening additional settings in the settings menu, SlimSettings crashes.
3. I'm not really sure if this is a bug, or if this is intentional, but the battery percentage in the status bar has changed into a tilde. So instead of 4%, the status bar now says 4~, which seems strange.

Yeah...
1. I don't really know, but like you said probably not something most will experience.
2. This is a known issue. It will be fixed ( probably removed) in the next build.
3. This is strange. I also don't know about this. I'll look into it though.
Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, the home button doesn't wake the device. I don't really think this is a bug. I personally do not like it. Although I know some will. It should be a fairly easy fix for the next build.

I tried installing the viper4android, but it asks me to install the drivers always, even with the nougat fix, I'm not sure that it could be failing, maybe another sound mod will work, with the ums enabler (mass storage) asks me to change the kernel to permissive , Which seems strange to me because the default comes like this, maybe that's why I can not install the viper4android
#edit 1:
I have a question, the next updates have OTA support or will it be necessary to flash manually?

I haven't messed with Viper4Android on any nougat ROMS, so I can't really help there, sorry. At some point I will though.
I may look into implementing OTA for this ROM. I'm not sure at this point. It just depends on a few things. Either way, for sure the next update will need to be manually flashed.

Thanks for the answers, actually OTA is not so important to me, what I need is youtube, but anyway thank you very much for all your work, in truth keep the device alive
I'm very happy to see a slim Version of Nougat for the g800f. I'll just have to wait till wake up via home button is working. This is a must for me.

Make sure you go to terminal and type: getenforce
If it said enforcing you have to type: setenforce 0
Then check with getenforce again and see if it says permissive now.

The battery percentage is a normal percentage again now. Maybe that's because I rebooted my phone yesterday but it seems to work now!
---------- Post added at 10:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:46 AM ----------
Is there a way to turn off button illumination in Slim7 without installing a night mode app? In my opinion night mode apps have some disadvantages so I'd prefer a different way.

Soo awesome. I am a bigger fan of AOSP than I am of Lineage, so I'll definitely give this a shot as time affords.
Thanks for bringing this here!!

Hope current kernels won't work for this . I haven't tried any kernel . default one just works great
This looks really promising and really neat, if I can make one suggestion, it would be to not include MAGISK in future builds until the issues are worked out with losing ROOT. Just my 2 cents, I love the idea of MAGISK but in my opinion its not perfect just yet (losing ROOT, ROOT not working, ETC). I would say to leave out so we havethe option to use SuperSU or MAGISK without having to remove one or the other from the system ROM.
Just a thought, and if you dont like it, no biggy, let me know but either way, REALLY cool to see a pure AOSP not based off Lineage!!.

Done.. Even I don't like the theory of Magisk ..or. Shall i make 2 builds, if I have time i can do that one With magisk and one with Su . What to you think of that
+1, no magisk.
I am a fan of just the included root, personally.
although, it's quite easy to flash the magisk unroot.zip
OP, snap cam updated.
OP, you cook reliable ROMs and appreciate bringing this one home to us. Never even heard of these guys, excited to give it a shot, running Dirty Unicorns atm so will be interesting comparing the two.
I know it would be a pita but I would love to see a build compatible with sprints nougat baseband. I want to try AOSP but I am dreading having to ruu the us unlocked baseband and wipe my phone Everytime I want to flash something different. This looks awesome though!
You can add me to the no magick list. I prefer superSU. Looking forward to playing with this ROM this weekend.

You don't have to ruu anything to run AOSP on Sprint. Check this thread out. You must be s-off to do this. It works, as I'm running Resurrection remix right now.

Fredgar, you only needed to do that once to unlock the hidden whatever is needed with us Sprint devices. Once you do that and flash back to Sprint ruu, you never have to ruu again (unless you want to, I do it every few weeks to reset my phone after to many os changes). This is strictly up to you, once your Sprint device is ruu to us Dev and back to Sprint, that's it, never again.

Hi, this is CarbonoidOS by CarbonROM.
These are pre-release builds that are meant for public testing. It is released under the CarbonoidOS name to differentiate itself from official CarbonROM builds. Please read up as much as you can before posting any questions in this thread.
For those that follow us, you know that we have been grinding since the hour the first few Android Pie repositories dropped. The Core-Team, ROM, and device developers have been collectively working on getting private builds up to our release standards, which we are still far from. I have been specifically working on feature bring up, a link to my progress will be somewhere below. Although I have been running these builds as my daily driver, I do not recommend these builds to the average user. Flash at your own risk, but try to have fun.
Disclaimer:
These builds are considered personal and are not sanctioned by CarbonROM. They include Google Apps and have not been tested with any other packages, aside from the TWRP installer. There will be bugs. The point of these builds is not to solve device side bugs, but to give a sneak peek of what the features of cr-7.0 will be. These builds are different from the unofficial builds that will be posted later. You will not be able to transition to those builds from these without clean flashing.
When posting bug reports, do:
Provide details of additional modifications
Provide any logs possible
But don't:
Leave any of the above out
Post without reading the whole OP
Quote the whole OP
Expect me to address any bug reports
Tag me in bug reports thinking I'll address them
If you don't follow these simple guidelines I will probably ignore you.
Known bugs (not working):
None that I know of

I'd flash it in a heartbeat but stuck at work and no way to go back to stock if I decide it isn't that stable enough. Thanks for any feedback.

The only issue I had was some pretty consistent crashing of ambient display... however if I let the phone reboot and waited for the system to time out/screen off (at Boot by itself) and then powered up/unlocked it would work without incident.
Everything.. Bluetooth-GPS-Calls-Data-NFC works. Very smooth and I can't wait to see the finished product. I try not to post too much, but really I need to say Thank You.
@ FkM and @draymond1987. Every one of you guys is outstanding (including OP). Thanks for your kind words! Off topic: @deedwar has been an amazing help to me. and taught me a lot. I just am a simple builder. Other devs, including OP, have answered questions too. I still am building, behind the scenes. OP is certainly awesome for dropping the first Pie build, as I'm aware of!
