HOW TO INSTALL:
*Make a nandroid backup using CWM just in case.
I REPEAT..MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE INSTALL.
Preparation (First three are optional. If you want to start fresh, these can be skipped)
Install AppBak from Market, run it and save a list of all your apps.
Install SMS Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your SMS history.
Install Call Logs Backup and Restore from Market, run it and backup your call log history.
Boot into CWM recovery. Make a full backup. You will need this backup later if you decide to go back to your previous ROM and data.
Installation:
-Wipe /Data,/System, cache and dalvik-cache.
-Install the GingerNightROM.zip
-Fix Permissions
-Wipe cache and dalvik-cache.
-Reboot.

FAQ:
You must cofigure NotificationToggle for making its icons white.
Goto Icons and Colour > Change inactive colour to white using sliders.
You must disable the Market Update to keep this modded PlayStore.
There are many apps for this purpose in market.
If you do not get CRT animation,
make sure Animations are checked in settings>display>animation.

Installation
First Time Install / Clean Flash
1. Download the ROM
2. Reboot into recovery mode
3a. If encrypted FORMAT Data (internal storage will be wiped too) and Wipe System/Vendor
3b. If not encrypted, Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik/System/Vendor
4. Flash the ROM
5. Flash Magisk if you want root (OPTIONAL)
6. On Vanilla version flash your desired Gapps if you want
7. Reboot to System

A question regarding changing the bootanimation. For some reason I can't overwrite bootanimation.zip despite using a root explorer with magisk su access. I've tried three different ones - all three tell me that bootanimation.zip can't be overwritten or deleted in /system/product/media. Do you have an idea what I might be getting wrong? I've changed boot animations on other roms without any problems in the past ...

I've used this rom and also alphadroid. Both works quite well. However, one thing is bugging me. When I protect an app (settings > security > app lock) and use it. Then if I go to recents I can see contents of my last time leaving state of the app, which is very bad. Also if I choose app from recents, I can see the contents, even if the contents changes I can see that too, before unlocking the app with fingerprint!
I've tried different launcher but recent style is same. (Both for alphadroid and rising os). Any solution/suggestions would help.
Messages app is locked, but you can see the contents.
Edit: Also moulti-touch problem. Supports only two finger (and three finger swipe, for screen shot, cannot use 3 fing. for anything else).
