Try turning off the Advanced Camera. It doesn't quite work well with our phones. Use the stock camera instead.

Version 1.0.0 was still buggy. You must have installed 1.0.1+ already.
The camera of the latest version 1.0.4 works just fine.

the only downside of Instagram for Android is the photo we shared on facebook doesnt show on news feed. We need to open the profile to show the photos created by Instagram.

Is There Any Smart Camera Application Available For My Xperia S

Hi I am using Sony Xperia S. I Like The Camera of It.But My Friend Have 5mp Lumia 520 it have some great features like motion shot. It shoots a series of photos in quick succession, after which you can either simply pick the best shot to keep or apply one of a number of effects to the photos.And he Took Some Awesome Photos With it.camera of lumia 520 totally out performing...Is There Anyway To get that features on my Xperia s.Or something similar to it.

The lastest (Z1 or M) Social Camera is the best suggest for you!

I'd just prefer the Xperia M camera. Unless you have kitkat, try the one below.
Try this one, Google has added some new features. Though I don't know if its compatible for the Xperia S

the Xperia M camera will only work if you have installed Z1 Camera Mod...
I suggest you to install the eXisten ROM for Z1 Camera & others smart social camera apps by Sony

Google Camera LENS BLUR effect working great on Nokia X2DS

Again guys i have a good news for you. Our beloved Nokia X2DS supports Google camera ‪LENS BLUR without any hassle. Just download the apk from the link, install, and voila. You are good to go. You can now have lens blur effect like dslr, refocus later. This app is intended for kitkat 4.4.4. But works on jelly bean after disabling Google play services. As Nokia X2DS doesn't have Google play services, it runs without any hassle.
The photos are taken with my Nokia X2DS. No post editing done.

Third Party Camera Apps for Z5C

The general consensus for this phone seems to be that it sports top-of-the-range photographic hardware but is sadly let down by poor software support and Sony's aggressive noise-reduction algorithms. As this is a software issue, it may be possible that enhanced image quality could be obtained using third party apps. So far I have noticed some differences between apps and thought we could maintain a list of some of the best here:

BTW this app makes way better photos. But really only flattens the image, doesn't really get higher detail. I'll take it over my textured and fuzzy stock camera though!

Hi, thanks for testing. Not sure why it is not available on your devices, maybe some problem on Google Play.
I have attached is a screenshot of the Sony devices supported on my Google Play Developer Console, maybe some model is missing...

I'm sure it's something to do with the servers not updating yet. I see were checked off in the right spots for the compact! Thanks for the app BTW, it's nice!

Somehow it doesnt work for me.
When i first Install it it shows me the Tips, then i Press OK and after that i only see the Camera Icon.

Thanks for the info. Some users reported that "Camera Super Pixel" app does not start correctly after the Android 6.0 update on Sony Xperia Z5. We are working to find the problem as soon as possible.

Balls, cheers for the heads up - I'll change the OP

I'm currently playing with open camera with API 2.0. So far it works but i haven't really compared to stock yet. I have noticed the camera button, the first press for focus causes a never ending focus loop... But tapping the screen works fine.

I had used "A Better Camera" with my previous phone for a while. It can perform "Dynamic Range Optimization" automatically after each photo is taken. The night mode is pretty good as well.
Ofcourse the issue is that Sony has not provided a FULL camera2 api implementation so you are limited. I sometimes still use ABC, when I'm taking a still, however it is quite slow compared to the native app with just starting and taking photos.

I use Cameringo+. I guess it was the best I've used with Z1 Compact and it kinda stayed with me. Truth is that the Z5 Compact camera is much much better. So I don't think I need live filters anymore.
