Where to buy SM-N930F? - Note 7 Questions & Answers

Anyone where any legit websites to buy the F variant as it is most likely the tmobile variant will be bootloader locked?

Seeing that US does not import the exynos variant I guess u can buy an overseas unit but u will lose warranty. Amazon UK is a good start once they start selling.

[Q] Model Number Sold by Google?

Quick question for everyone. Does anyone know the model number of the unlocked gnex being sold on play.google.com?
I'm hoping it's the i9250.
To be more specific, i've read a lot of issues related to Samsung and the i9250 warranty in the US... I'm about to buy the phone, and i can save a ton of money if i get the i9250 from Amazon, but i don't know if i want to go that route if there will be warranty concerns.

Model sold is GT-i9250M. Same version that is sold in Canada.
I just talked to Samsung. The model numbers are the same (i9250) for both international and domestic phones, however Samsung USA keeps separate records for both. So, in the case of the int'l version you would not be able to get warranty service through Samsung USA. However the rep said:
"You would have to file an international warranty claim, and i have never heard of a claim not being honored."
Granted he's just a front line rep, but that is promising information.

Sure. I'll buy what he said about the warranty.
Just some slight misinformation though: there is more than one model for the "international" GN (although the hardware is identical):
GT-i9250
GT-i9250M
GT-i9250T
SC-04D
The ones sold in Canada, and now in the U.S., are GT-i9250M.

Support for UK GSM GNex in US

Hey all. I'm using my nexus on T-Mobile US and have run into a battery issue that I'll probably need samsung's support on. Now that GSM nexuses are being sold in the US, does anyone know if Samsung US (or Google) will support UK models that reside here?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Nope. They won't support phones they didn't sell. They know by the IMEI number whether or not your phone is a European model or not.
If you bought it from an importer, contact them to initiate a warranty claim with Samsung Europe.
If you chose not to use a reputable importer, you're pretty much SoL. Samsung Europe won't process a warranty claim on a grey market device sold to the US.
What problem are you having?
If you have a battery issue it is easier to just buy a new battery because as above.. you won't get any support.

[Q] Where can I buy an Unlocked and International model of the G3?

I live in the US. Where can I buy an LG G3 that is unlocked and is the international version, you know, the one with built-in wireless charging. I found an unlocked model on Amazon but don't know if it is the International edition. F*ck US carriers. Anybody know? Thanks!

There is also the problem that there is no 32GB model in Europe. Am I right? That's what I need, more space and the more RAM.

or u can just spend $3 on a SIM-unlock code and $10 on the QI charging sticker.. add it to the inside of the battery cover of a US-variant G3 and not deal with any of this.
T-Mobile's is bootloader unlocked. Add $13-$20 to unlock sim/enable wireless charging.
Thread closed on OP's request (and I dont see any purpose left )

[Q] What model should i get for AT&T in the USA?

Which one should I get to use in the United States on AT&T? D5502, 5503, or 5506?
I see that Sony is selling it directly, what model are they selling if anyone has bought it from them directly for the us market?
B&H has it for cheaper and has a longer return policy, but they only sell the 5503 and I'm not sure if that's the right version.

I suggest you get the D5503 model, I have cricket, which is basically using AT&T towers and I was able to get LTE in most of my area.
Same here. I have the unbranded D5503 on ATT and have LTE near SJ, CA.
Thank you folks. I appreciate it.

Still worth buying the International models?

For my US and Canadian Friends - Do you guys think it's still worth buying the International F and FD models with no warranties in the US and Canada, and possible band incompatibility, now that the Sprint and ATT (T-Mobile coming up shortly) variants have Root via the EngBoot? Or you guys think that method will be patched soon enough and the future of Development and Root for the US and CA variants will be 0 to none like the S7 and S7E models?
Thanks for your input!
I believe Samsung gives you a one year warrantee on the international version.

I have bought 2 samsung in Vietnam. I was told by Samsung i have one year warranty with Samsung in Vietnam. When i was last in Australia, I was told by Samsung Australia that they don't honour the warranty and i need to take it to Samsung in Vietnam, where the phone was purchased. This i believe, because i have heard it from a few sources. It maybe different in other countries but that is the case in Australia.
