I have an International version of ascend p6 -06 with B107.
I was trying to install kitkat into it.Its rooted.
I downloaded the UPDATE.APP from one of the forums.I installed twrp and I thought I can use to flash the new ROM using it,but I couldnt find the option,I read somewhere only the zip files can be installed through TWRP. Whenever I press the volume+ + volume- + power button,the phone starts with the TWRP directly than doing any update .I have put the UPDATE.APP file in dload folder in my SD card,still it was not updating with that given shortcut.
I did a stupid thing just now,I wiped all datas using TWRP and now i have no OS installed ,and like that my phone is bricked.now if i switch on the phone it gets stuck at huawei ascend Logo.and if i press volume up and down buttons along with power button,then it goes to TWRP ..
pls pls pls help me ,and thanks a ton in advance.
I even tried downloading the the original rom from the huawei website and still not able to update using that UPDATE.APP file...
don't panic..
you habe to set your phone into bootloader mode..push power and Volumen + (or -) together and hold them for about 5sec until you See the huawei ascend Logo (it stucks there - thats OK)..
then Connecticut your p6 to the pc and Start your ADB..
depending what Firmware you want (JB or KK) you habe to get a stock recovery IMG..
this can be flashed by ADB using the known commands for flashing recovery..
when you have the stock recovery you can put an update.app (e.g. from the last b511) onto your SD card Ingo the dload folder..
then you habe to unplug your phone from pc and press all three buttons (power and Volumen +/- together) and hold them until you See the Android Figure (force update method)..
should work..
if not then you have to search for the twrp sideload feature (via Google)..
can u help me with starting adb.

no. I used a huawei P6 toolkit.
OK...then there should be the Option to install/flash a stock recovery..
here comes the next problem
I downloaded the abd driver installer 1.0,it identifies my phone.but once i press the button for installing the error pops up.,incompatible with win 8 (64 bit.)now what to do??

The option of installing stock recovery is there,but now when i can connecting the phone its not recognising.it shows phone not connected.

I have no words to thank you..finally its done..the adb drivers were not installed well,thats why it was not picked up by the tool.I updated the stock recovery image and it rebooted and installed well...thanks a ton again..and I appreciate your fast replies.I had spend 2 days only in this.its such a releif.:victory::victory:

I am sorry to trouble you again.yesterday i updater to B508 kitkat,but gprs or 3g were not working.so today I downloaded the B512 version.in this version if iam putting the dload file in SD card,it doesnt read it.I have to put this in internal storage itself.This time my phone is stuck in the normal android recovery stage as I dont have TWRP installed (I guess,the same shorcut is not starting TWRP).
And to update to the older version the update.app file should be there in internal storage which i cannot assess at this point since mobile doesnt start..what do I do??
I tried installing TWRP connecting mobile in the present status,but its not installing
hve you tried to do a force update (3 button method)..
it should work when you put the update.app in dload folder in your sdcard..
maybe you have to go to another Version (b122 or b132)..
but the only method that might now work is the 3 buttons (power and vol +/- together)..and you have to hold them until you see the Android figure (can take more then 10 seconds.. be patient)..
if this won't work then i'm too speechless (hadn't this case before)..

It worked.I fomatted the sd card and left only dload folder .and used the same version which was originally working (508).now its reverted back to normal ..half my tensions are over.but the i wanna change from this rom,in this my internet doesnt work..I wanted to install B510,but for that I have to install B132 first,which i am trying.but its not working.Any idea what should be done.?
try to flash then recovery Form b132 (usw the huawei update extractor to create one..can be found here in then forum)..then via force update you should be able to installiert then b132..and from there it is easy to load then b512 for example (system update local or force update (there you don't need to change the recovery)..

You meant I shoould make a recovery for B132 using huawei update extractor.I have the P6 tool with me,if i update a recovery image for jellybean (currently its kitkat) will that be enough??

I made B132.zip file and using TWRP i installed it.It showed the istallation was successful,and i rebooted to the system and its stuck in huawei ascend logo and its not moving from there.I tried again using the vol- + vol+ + powerbotton,Its restarting to the sa,me logo.somehow recovery is not working.I think now I am really screwed.
you should not make a ZIP file..

Hey guys. I was on Kitkat Beta CN with TWRP. I wanted to update to B512 so I reverted to the original recovery B506CN recovery (downloaded it from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709353)
Once I pressed local update the phone reboots but I get the following error message:
Huawei SD card update fail.....
The update is /dload/update.app
Why do I get this error message and how to fix it in order to update to B512

Tried many different combinations and nothing helped seems this problem is binded to my SD card. I tried different recovery versions and tried to update when I had 3 different roms. It seems I can't update with the stock recovery no matter what I do. I tried doing that in the internal storage but still the same mistake? Why should it access the SD card for an update in the internal storage?
When I enter recovery manually (without going at update section in settings) I see at first screen this message and I have to restart to enter at the recovery

Current build version release is not 4.2 - don't need move.

You should unplug your device from usb and then reboot to recovery because u can read there "USB Update Enter" that means your device is pluged to a pc

Have you tried using the file to downgrade back to Jelly bean from KitKat?

Download the file, and place the dload folder onto your sd card, and do a local update as usual. When that is done, your phone will reboot normally. Just replace the dload folder with the one from B512, and try updating again. If it still doesn't work, I'd suggest doing a forced update using the 3-button method (power button & volume keys).

I tried and this recovery causes a constant vibrating when in recovery mode, apart from that I still get the same errors.
My only fast and easy solution would be if someone uploaded a B512 repack for TWRP. That would be awesome, right now I just use the B513 repack. I don't think I can find the fix to this any more.

i have a huawei p6-u06 b111
today i flash boot.img and recovery.img with adb and now when i power on my phone its vibrating and its going on and dont stop the vibrating
i just find out the version of new boot.img and recovery.img was diffrent ! (b118)
i download the UPDATE.APP from huawei website and try to install it by going to recovery (volome + and volome - and power button ) its steel vibrating and just write FAIL on screen and cant read my sd card
now how can i solve my problem?
I unlocked my phone before and now can't be trusted making ota update (B130 to B183) impossible now, because i have phone unlocked and FRP lock, i tried to use fastboot mode to flash stock recovery.img (i had twrp), but it failed (command not aloowed) so i guess i need to revert back to oem lock because stock recovery.img and updates cannot be installed but i don't know the process... Any ideas ? Thanks !

Ok, i tried to flash stock firmware back using project menu so i can do SD Updrade (with dload folder containing update.app and other files) but unfortunatetly, when the process is going on for upgrading, it is sudddenly stopped by the Huawei eRecovery interface which shows up all the time and with an option to download lastest recovery via wifi but it fails too when i use this option...
I'm running the B130 version, i guess the downgrading to B120 cannot work ? because before the Huawei eRecovery showed up, i could see a quick message that the firmware current version (B120) is not correct.
i thought i could relock bootloader back using this B120 firmware, but do i need to download the full B183 firmware ? Then i use SD Card Upgrade via project menu ?
where can i find the official stock recovery for honor 8 pro ?

I already tired this method, it failed
ok...i was so desesperate that i used a tool called SRKTool Huawei where it was possible to lock boot loader, i tried it on my phone but unfortunately, it destroyed recovery image and now my phone keeps booting on fastboot mode like a loop trying to look for recovery image, i cannot even switch my phone off, it cannot be detected on my computer, i ****ed it up, my phone is useless now...

I guess i have to let my phone draining by itself because i have bootloop and long press on power seems to have no effect...

Phone relocked
FRP Lock
Since it was relocked, everything was deleted, so there's no system, etc...
At this point, what should i do now properly ?
Do i have to use huawei extractor and extract Boot.img, Recovery.img, system.img from UPDATE.APP ?
And then flash them in fastboot mode ? But do i have to unlock oem again with my code ?
Edit: The UPDATE.APP should be taken from B120, B130 version ?

Yes dowbload the updae.zip and dload .for apps of cust download thw full duk l09 .zip and dload again
I tried to reinstall with force upgrade, it fails again at 5% in hauwei erecovery:
"Software install failed
Incompatibility with current version
Pleasse download the correct update package"
Fastboot mode can only give me infos, but i cannot flash anything because of "...command not allowed", and force upgrade using Sd Card with any firmware compatible fails with the well known error message i posted above...
When i switch on the phone, it cannot boot up the system since i relocked phone from unlocked phone (which was rooted before), so it deleted data but it also deleted the boot and system i think.
The only thing i can access is Fastboot mode (Phone locked, FRP lock) and Huawei eRecovery which is useless.
In huawei eRecovery mode, under the Emui logo, you have "Download latest version and recovery" "Reboot" "Shutdown"...
When i use "Download latest version and recovery" using wifi mode, it tries to download but it fails when trying to get infos from server...
Hello I was trying to flash a room via recovery and it seems I wiped everything now when I turn the phone on it stick on Huawei logo cant enter to the recovery mode or the boot menu I did some research through the internet I found a tool called (SP flash tools) I download it and i download the usb Huawei drivers the software need a scattered file so it can recover the phone and icant find any OTA rom for my Huawei ascend p1 that contain that scatter file all the official roms that I tried to download contain one file named APDATE.APP
So plz if anyone have download link for Huawei ascend p1 OTA room that contain the scatter file or if there is any other method that ican flash the bootloader or the recovery to my bricked phone plz help me and thanx for reading my problem
