Help!!

hello everyone,
i recently purchased my first smart phone about a week ago and am slowly starting to tweek it to my likings.
sadly im not too sure on how to achieve certain things on the device but if anyone can show me a link on how to unlock the gps on my phone i would greatly appreciate it.
i have a friend who told me about this place and also mentioned it would be wise to also have my stock rom saved to my computer and my stock radio just in case the new rom screws my phone up.
anyways its an alltel htc touch 6900 so if anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it

okay thanks very much orb3000, i read the wiki and it said it will unlock the gps but said that it would run off alltels nav and charges 9 bucks a month, so what im wondering is if i ran the updated rom and unlocked the gps could i use a different gps app and not have to pay the gps fee?? or will that still require a different rom? thnks

BT S620 not booting .. urgent help!

Hello everyone ..
I need your help , I I installed the arabizer and rebooted ... and never reach home again! phone is jamming at BT LOGO and doesnt go any further.
took battery off , same thing! cant get activesync see the phone either
BTW, I recently Upgraded to WM6 Standard !!
any ideas?
Appreciate your time guys!
check the sticky for the unbricking your phone thread and also the hard reset bootloader thread. they should allow you to unbrick and reflash your phone. upgrade to ookba's 6.5 and you'll encounter less problems. im guessing your phone wasn't unlocked to apps since you're just hitting WM6 standard. you might wanna do that next time and prevent this problem again
Thanks dude,
I will check it and get back to you

It's in the sticky
But the direct link for application unlock http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3468711&postcount=1
Was your BT not already WM6 as they have been dispatched for over a year with WM6.
B.T.W if you after a nicer looking better functioning device update to 6.1 or 6.5, the BT official ROM is posted in sticky too just incase you have to return phone ever "not that i thnk BT would even turn the phone on to check lol they pretty useless @ everything they do" yep i'm an ex BT subscriber
If you want to stick with BT ROM hard-reset again in link above

Sure I want, what do you recommend??? I will eventually need to have some Arabic support thought!
I bought it over Ebay with WM5, but got it upgraded to WM6 (still BT, and yes it looks stupid )
one your phone is properly unlocked for apps and you are settled in with a rom that works well for you, installing arabic support shouldn't be a problem. just make sure the Arabic support program you install will work with the rom you choose. search the forums and find all the info on the roms and find one that will suit you best. don't be scared to ask questions.. but diving head first without all the research can be sketchy. really really sketchy
tried few threads but I still cant flash any new roms !
okay i'm still working on no sleep but you seem pretty desperate and i think i know how you feel. A bricked phone sucks. So here's the threads and i'll explain as i give em to you. If you phone is locked up (bricked) and wont boot up past the Windows screen go here and follow the instructions to get your phone working again http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493266 if you had to use that to unbrick your phone and prepare it for flashing flash your phone with one of these factory roms from herehttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=381726. once your phone is working and you can access your home screen and start menu install this program to unlock your sim and applications from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355789. this will allow you to flash through serveral of the new 6.5 roms such as the 3vo http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=523718 and the NRGhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=527496 rom series. If you absolutly can't getting it working messages us back and one of the makers of these roms will help you because im going to sleep. good luck
EDIT: if you absolutely can not unbrick check out this tutorial:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540492
Thanks for your help and time dude, but I guess you sent same link for all things by mistake
BTW, the phone is not sim-locked , but I dont know about applications , tried several ways but nothing yet ..

[Q] anyone can help us to fix this problem??

hi devs!!
please admins, don't delete this 3d!!
a few days ago, me and more other users had this problem:
when i shut down my DHD, it reboots automatically after a few seconds...this issue remains with all roms (sense, miui, CM7)... i've tried to reflash recovery, format all partition and reflash rom, change radio firmware but nothing!!
this is the Thread where we are trying to find a reason of this problem:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1014302
but we have no solution!
can devs help us to fix this problem??
this problem was appeared at the change of the hour, the 27/3/11.
more of us have changed rom, have root and engeneering bootloader, but this problem appears in stock DHD too.
thanks devs for all and for help and sorry for my bad english!
I'm surprised the thread has lasted this long...
I really do hope you find a fix for your problem but posting a link in here to a thread elsewhere will only annoy people. There's separate sections for a reason.

i know!!
but i think devs che help us to find a solution!!....in general section there are no devs!!!!!
Yep, I know most devs only look in here (they're busy making ROMs for us) but the mods will still enforce the rules. Why not PM a link to a couple of people you think might be able to help?
The issue is described in cm7's rc thread so the dev's probably know about this already. If they can help they probably will anyway.
I can't believe you abbreviated 'thread' to '3d'!

sorry!
i'm italian and we abbreviate thread to 3d (tred)
This problem does not let switch off your phone properly. I mean without disconnecting your battery. And this bug affects all users who flashed CM rom after 27.03.11. All that was proposed to workaround this is that you should set date before 27.03.11
I read in this forum that this doesnt affect people who didnt rooted their phones and didnt flash CM roms. But who did suffers from it even if reflashed original stock rom not to mention other cooked roms.
So there is no fix for that at the moment and no devs are looking to fix it or if they do they didnt came up with a solution.
So meanwhile may be this bug should be listed in first message of CM rom`s thread that if you flash that rom you would not be able to switch your phone properly or something like that...

Random reboots

Hi guys,
Right now, i'm very frustrated, because my Desire reboots randomly for quite a while. I don't know when it has started.
I use the rom MIUI Au 1.5.6 R1. Before that, i used oygen 2.0 and i think that i experienced reboots, too.
So ask if you need any other information to help me. I'm trying to help, because i want you to help me.
Thank you!

Every time I turn bluetooth on, it instantly crashes and I get a message "android.bluetooth.something" stopped.

Guys, the about 2 months ago i changed the T-Mobile Rom to Imate Rom. it wroked well, but lately, wen i start any program, the device keeps restarting. Can you suggest me anything.
I am thinking about changing the Imate rom to a Qtek or to a O2 Rom. If you support my idea, can you please give me the links where is described how to do that.
Thank you

I would try clearing data on the Bluetooth share system app.
If it doesn't work, I'd factory reset and redo the SuperSU install the normal way.
