Cortex Camera and Cinema 4k apps ..Anyone know if these 2 apps work on G5? - Sprint LG G5 Questions & Answers

I am curious if these 2 apps work with the G5 (sprint)
- Cortex Camera .....this is a photography app that takes several images, and combines them to make one higher quality image.
- Cinema 4k ...... this records video with several custom options known to usually only work with either lollipop or Nougat, ....rarely works on MM.
Any info if these work on the s6 appreciated.

Someone using Cameringo App (camera)?

I always used the Cameringo App on my oldest phone (SGS3 mini = RIP) without any problems, and all perfect. But since I have it installed on K10 (k420n) the video mode has a deprecated quality.
On the video below I show you the difference between the main camera apps I have installed for testing now: Cameringo+, Snap Camera HDR, Lumio Cam & Stock).
Click here to see the video demo
Installed Apps at the time of recording the video
- Cameringo+ (2.8.14)
- Snap Camera HDR (8.2.7)
- Lumio Cam (2.0.10)
- Stock Camera (4.52.85)
Device Specifications
- LG K10 (k420n)
- Lollipop 5.1.1 (v10c)
- Rooted

4k high bitrate video recording on the HTC 10...and 3rd party apps? Anyone?

Hi all. I am curious of what 4k bitrate ability and limitations there are on the HTC 10, with 3rd party apps., specifically to US variants including sprint t-mobile , att , verizon..
Does anyone know how well the HTC 10 would do with 3rd party apps for 4k? Can I rely on stock firmware? or are there camera mods needed for HTC models for improved 4k?
I am looking to use these apps :
Cinema4k
Lumio Camera
Freedcam
Open Camera
Curious if anyone had used any of these with the HTC 10 ...and what variant? and android version? for 4k higher bitrate?
How well did they work?
I am curious to know before acquiring one.
Any and all opinions , info appreciated.
So I am pretty sure the stock 4K recording is between 45-55MBit
Open Camera works very nicely, especially if you want to shoot in RAW mode. I have never used it for video however. I only use OpenCamera if I want to shoot in RAW mode. Otherwise, I use the stock camera app. It is just way faster to have an app already configured to shoot in RAW rather than trying to configure your "normal" app to RAW on the fly. Just choose the app that is already configured for that purpose.

4k Video Recording & Hdr in @25MP mode using OPEN CAMERA

Hello everyone,
》 You can use "4k video recording & click @25mP images in hdr mode" which isn't natively present in the stock camera, period, by using "Open Camera"
》Playstore Link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.sourceforge.opencamera
》I saw a marginal improvement in highlights especially at the night time shooting where stock camera blows up the highlights almost all the times & the detail levels are also higher as the image is captured in @25mp mode with active HDR.
》There's no stabilization in 4k recording but i saw drastic Improvement in dynamic range, especially at night. The difference between the stock 1080p video & the 4k video from "Open Camera" is huge. Ofcourse the files sizes are also 4 times higher.
》The details are much higher in both the front & back camera with better dynamic range using "Open Camera" especially during daytime.
》I prefer the stock camera only to capture still images at night due to faster shutter speed & as A50 uses pixel binning in 3:4 hdr mode which helps to gather more light ofcourse. The images are comparable here, though in this situation only.
》》》 If you're going to record video at evening & night time, I highly recommend you using 4K option in the "Open Camera", trust me the difference in dynamic range especially at night is unbelievable.
》》》 Tip : Keep the scene optimizer on & use 3:4 hdr mode while shooting at Night on Galaxy A50 as it uses pixel binning & AI to get stable pictures & gather more light for a bright shot. Avoid wide angle lens at night.
》》》 Reply to this post if you want to see actual proofs else you can try it out yourself.

The more interesting thing is what the phone is actually capable, but isn't enabled in the stock camera. Maybe Samsung will optimise the camera in future updates.

Yes brother, exynos 9610 is infact capable of doing [email protected] as mentioned on their official website.
Also, Galaxy A50 has flagship grade imx 576 sensor :

I doubt that Samsung will add 4k in future updates.

Hi, everybody. I'm using an Open Camera that's unlocked, it will unlock the camera at 2API.1280x720 resolution, bitrate 200 mbbs.120 frames per second, but the video size is 398 megabytes in 18 seconds.
xda turns into a resource to read instead of humor. The man took and unlocked camera2api without even realizing what it was. On a rooted a50, it does not allow access, but he succeeded with a finger movement in the settings ...
help! what's the settings in open camera to make 4k video?

Nothing.
Change the resolution to 4k in Settings > Video Settings > Video resolution
You're good to go, Cheers.

Stock Moto Camera App or Good Alternative to it?

Hi everyone, I've been running LineageOS on my Albus for a couple of years now, tried different ROMs too.
But I miss two features from the stock camera app, fast HDR photos and HDR videos in 1080P.
I never managed to get a Motorola Camera app to work on the Z2, even moving it to the system partition didn't work and have yet to find an app that takes quick HDR photos and films in HDR.
My current camera app is OpenCamera and I have a fully rooted device running Magisk and TWRP.
So if you could please help me with either getting Motorola Camera to work or point me to a good camera app that does the same time I'd be very happy.
Thanks a million!
