For now I think about even rarer updates of my roms, because of a small number of downloads.

I have lost root and I can not get it again with towelroot

When slim features hit LP your downloads will increase its still vanilla so its not fitting everyones needs,also there are only a few optimus g users left (i guess)

Issues:
1 - aosp keyboard works while typing but crashes when tried to swipe the words.
2 - As u know media doesnt plays (hoping for the fix in next build)
Requests
1 - can you use the snap camera instead of stock
2 - quick settings with paging as the other marshmallow roms provide to me that is more organized

Since there were too much problems with Magisk I decided to remove it from this ROM, for now.
You want to use Magisk or SuperSU? Please install it manually via TWRP (you can install in a row with ROM, GApps, ...).

The included (Snap) Camera won't make videos when the video quality is set to "4k UHD".

Booted fine.
In any case, a bit of OT: I'm still not able to install Viper4Android on this, AICP or crDroid. I either get I/O error when installing the driver, or the app claims it can't get root (the latter is the case on this ROM). I mention this here is case someone has any ideas, or has been able to install Viper. The sound is much better with it.

I use Llama Kernel for the Mashmallow version of this ROM.
For this ROM I'll first stay at CM-Kernel, maybe later I'll add a second one.

I'm actually glad you started a RR 5.8 Version. I'm still running your MM version.
But what will be the difference to the current genesixxbf3 version?

But I don't know which TC genesixx is using.

This is because viper is note supported officially on nougat. But There is a way:

Thanks. I had found that and tried it without success. I have since gone back to stock based to try the stock based llama kernel.

It is my mistake, I didn't flash gapps along with ROM.
I used stock gapps and it said not enough space, so I booted into rom copied micro and pico versions and tried micro version, it worked.
Simple factory reset did the trick.
Thanks to the creators and maintainers, I can use oreo 8.1 on this tab which capped out officially on Kitkat 4.4.

Sound not working
Youtube has no sound, while screen lock and unlock sounds are audible.
No charging sound as well

Try a clean Flash rather than a dirty one because the OS version is upgraded
Clean Flash will get you through with minimal or no problems

First of all Hats Off to the extremely talented developers working relentlessly to keep this very capable device functional.
I am coming from Lineage OS 7.1.2 latest version on Stock Blob
•ROM is very stable
•Smoother and much faster than Lineage OS 7.1.2
•Camera broken
•Music playback stops randomly when using headphones otherwise no problem with playback
•Battery Life better with stock ROM (who cares ?)

Working so smooth in mi pad (mocha), till date no issue in using tablet, working buttery smooth, battery back is great. Only issue is broken camera and broken hardware decoder.
ROM based on andriod 8.1.

Its a shame every good rom i found is buggy with youtube (i dont care camera since mine is defect anyway). Is this one have youtube bug too?

google play services stop working, again, again... I could not link an account
solution:
1, follow the instructions in the introduction
2, make factory reset from system, then everything from google works

No issue when I'm using it. But if I leave it standby, after a few hours, it reboots into recovery. How do I grab the log?
Edit: Cleaned cache, let's see how it goes.
Edit 2: Still random reboot

For some reason the device gets hot after just using it for 1 min or even less. Thermals show 50-54°C where as my old rom functioned at 47°C. Is anybody else facing this problem?

Magisk 20.0 or newer for root (after first boot) - (Download)
First time installation:
Backup your data to PC // If Something Goes Wrong
Flash recovery and boot to recovery
Wipe system, data, cache and format data, then reboot to recovery
Copy crDroid and Gapps to internal memory then flash them in TWRP in same order
Reboot and enjoy
*Optional reboot again after first boot to flash Magisk for root
Update installation:
Boot to recovery and make a backup
Wipe system and cache
Flash updated crDroid and Gapps (and Magisk if you had this as root method)

Rom is good , less heating, better battery backup, but gcam is not working , tried moslty all gcam.

Try Gcam 6.x
I already tested gcam v6.1.x. Working fine with portrait too no crashes.
use mini gapps, and try to stay with default kernel.
Still problems, occurs please share the log to my telegram.

Ive heard of cr droid
has anyone tried this
also how many roms are you gonna maintain my dude lol

I used a 6.08 and it was a good rom but after changing kernel to Nameless i have a lot of lags and stutter on zuk cause of changing governor to "Schedhorizon".
I don't need to have all cores on max clocks. Any idea how to repair it without reflashing other kernel?.
