The DEV of the toolkit update the OP of his thread stating he supports the USA version since 19 Nov. Has anyone tried it?

I tried it (the new updated version that supposedly works on us model). It does NOT work on us model, x727 as of the newest version 2 days ago. Persistent unlock worked perfectly for me.

Thank you
But who are the two that voted for the AIO Tool Kit?

AIO thread responded and made a fix today. Might want to try it now.

[TOOL] HTC One 2014 (M8) All-In-One Toolkit V12 [4-19-2014] [PERM ROOT]

I'm going to maintain only one thread (universal thread), since its easier to manage. My toolkit supports this model. Download links and info are in the link below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2699065
V1.0.1 Released! 4-8-2014
- Added Support for Sprint (Use ClockWorkMod for the recovery)
- Clarified some steps to make it easier to understand
- Fixed some grammar errors
Download is in Post 2.
V2.0 Released! 4-19-2014
- Added Philz CWM for GSM models
- Updated TWRP to official builds for Sprint/GSM variants
- Added a few S-Off commands for those who have S-Off
- Cleaned the code up a little bit
Nice!
Thanks for bringing your awesome work to this model! I used your toolkit on my old incredible 4g. I will be checking this out next weekend when I have a day off. Strong work, you're a solid dev :good:

It will work on every build ever created for the device.

I tried that before. Didn't work out so well. Every build needs a specific stock recovery. That's too much to deal with, especially supporting every model of the M8

im on windows 8 and when I install the drivers I get an error drivers not compatible. then I reinstall and get no error but I get another error device not found.
I am running 64-bit windows 8.1 and the htc drivers don't install correctly, i get the error, "the driver installer is not supported for this operating system."
i googled for 64 bit version in case this one from toolkit is 32 bit but no luck.

I hope you find a solution. Got my M8 a few months after it came out and was rooted since and been running Viper. Rom is great, i acutally also had it on my M7 as well and it was a great ROM for daily use. Good luck.

[Q] Verizon M8 ARHD 5.0, 5.1?

Hi,
Anyone tried flashing latest ARHD to Verizon M8 yet? What works? What doesn't work?
The rom thread notes that "Verizon and Sprint variants not fully supported yet" but it doesn't clarify what exactly doesn't work, and I don't see any comments to that effect in the dev thread. Forum won't let me post there until I have 10 posts, so I'm asking here .
Thanks!

You have a Verizon HTC One M8? Radio (2G/3G/LTE), wifi, bluetooth, all works? Do you use Sense-6 or GPE? What custom recovery (Philz/TWRP/other)?
Thanks!
I believe Verizon support was added in version 1.3.0 onwards.
Edit: My bad, wrong ROM

"For HTC One M8 (Verizon and Sprint variants not fully supported yet)"
Okay, here's what I've done so far:
1) Install weaksauce and supersu to get temp root
2) Use 2nd firewater method to unlock bootloader (Verizon blocks normal htcdev method)
3) Install twrp m8_wlv version from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2717928
4) Took a backup with twrp

How did you get ARHD to work with CDMA? Mine can't find Verizon network. Edit: Does *find* it, but cannot register with it.

Because you installed an XT1064 ROM on XT1068, and XT1064 is the only one not supported
Anxiously awaiting the XT1064 version.
I have bought and paid for the SuperSu version from the play store, but where would I find the flashable zip?

This doesn't work on XT1063 running Lollipop. It gets stuck in a nice bootloop.
do i have to have my bootloader unlocked to do this chainfire rooting?
Yes you have to unlock.

I upgrade my 1068 following this method:

Ill try out the SuperSU 2.41 Beta, but theres a newer 2.42 version?
I think i will use the latest one since its probably more patched up or something!
Will report back results

Can ROM devs please support those of us using Unlocked on VZW?

Hi guys!
All of the ROMs currently released don't support the 'Preferred Network' option that is required for us to use our Unlocked 10's on VZW's network.
Attached is a screenshot of the required option, as well as the build.prop and /system/customize/ from the stock unlocked filesystem to hopefully help you guys add this feature. We require the 'Global' option to use our device with the VZW radio (as of now).
Thanks for reading, hopefully someone can come through for us
I'm using LeeDroid on Verizon, and everything appears to be working properly.

I just rooted the new android 11 update.
The only difference from android 10 is you should now use the newest magisk v23 rather than the older one
I followed this guide exactly except skipped all the magisk workaround stuff and just used the latest version of the magisk app to patch the boot.img

To be honest with you, I don't know if this will work for At&t, it might but I don't have the at&t model so I cannot verify for you. You can try flashing via adb sideload in recovery and see but non of us are responsible if things don't work lol

After a bit of experimentation I managed to get it to work. Although you can't just `add sideload` it since the verification will fail. You'll have to unlock the bootloader and dd some partitions manually. Then once it thinks it's the global variant you can `add sideload`. I made a thread about it https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/turn-at-t-into-a-the-global-variant.4393631/
