Is the Z2 ever getting official Cyanogen support? - Lenovo ZUK Z2 (Plus) Questions & Answers

The Z1 did get it, any issues I don't know about? did the dev who was in charge of Ham switched to other devices?

I suggest you search before you post, I am running CM13 on my ZUK Z2 now.
The ROM is very stable and usable, it'll be official CM if wanted.

Usable but doesn't seem configurable, at least I didn't find the config UI.
So U-Touch is set to:
touch = back
swipe left = recent
swipe right = menu
press = home

I am currently using rooted version of open beta 12.
I want to customize single click on left hardware key for menu open/close.

Thanks fuarkgl3,
I downloaded the app but it seems it will require a pro version to customize the key.
Any other work around will be appreciated.

You will have to buy it. Or go back to MM and use gravitybox.
Without xposed apps like buttonmapper seem to be the only solution on OOS.
I believe you can modify the keylayout file to achieve this, it's in /system/usr/keylayout. I'm running Resurrection remix and have a file called synaptics.kl in my directory which has 3 entries (app_switch virtual | wakeup | back virtual) which would lead me to believe that if you switch one to MENU VIRTUAL, it would assign that button to menu. I'm not too sure about the oxygen filesystem name for the file, but there should be one relatively similar. Alternatively, RR has the options to map all the hardware keys to whatever you want.

I keep changing between AEX and PixelExperience, both are in really good state right now. Check your firmware, the latest two or three were working fine for me.

Right now i'm going with pixel experience 20181206 because the fingerprint scanner is a bit faster than AEX and for some reason android and google play services don't drain as much battery as with AEX + gapps.
PixelExpiercience unofficial - the most stable pie rom, but don't have much customizations. Great ROM with ArStickers in GCAM

Try miuipro it is stable
Miui pro have spanish?
I'm going for Mokee 8.1 nightly edition. There are two key features that I need for my phone that's broken by recent Oreo/Pie:
- MirrorLink (needed for TV and some car HU)
- NFC for banking (Extended APDU is broken in recent ROMs)
So, if you need these features, go ahead. If not, I'd go with Nitrogen Pie.

So for people change launcher like Lawnchair+Lawnstep this module has any interest ? Because Swipe Up is already implemented. I mean i can see the settings but i see no change in my gesture. There a way to add the Navbar like custom with the same Swipe up gesture (for have the rotation tool in the Recents button)

MIUI Global 10.4.1 installed - where are full screen gestures?

I was hoping I could test full screen gestures after installing the latest MIUI 10.4.1 Global official ROM based on Android Pie, but the option is nowhere in the settings. I've got the dark mode, but not the gestures ones.
Is that not supported on this version? I expected so

Our phones have physical buttons so it's quite pointless to have those gestures, you can flash xiaomi.eu rom and get it.

yes. twrp is needed, you can give it a try, but do backup first, remove magisk and all modules. but recommended is clean flash.
I downloaded from mi forum
So far so good everything works like a charm but battery cant last whole day
On 4.4 kernel i can archive 2 day straight without charging, on the same battery unit now

So I've testing ever since and THERE'S HUGE BUG
gyroscope isn't working properly, auto rotate works fine (magnetic sensor)
But when i play games with gyro uses such as PUBG it drift away so hard
Perhaps its caused by broken persist.img ?
Or it caused by the rom itself?
Btw has anyone tried custom kernel in this rom? Core control kinda fu*ked up it closes core 3 even when thermal protection disabled

Hello,
I did check gyroscope, its working fine. You can see attached pic. but i dont pubg. I have used various custom roms. i usuallly get 5.30 to 6.30 hrs SOT in customs roms. but in miui roms, mostly i got 5hrs of SOT. but just of camera and stuff, i am using miui. As portrait mode and camera optimization is best in MIUI.
No custom kernel i have tried yet.

I guess so, maybe its Pubg related problem.
Btw for core problem, i use AKT tweak and it solved
Using battery saving mode from AKT give me futher SOT and insane idle time. Highly recommended
And lastly, it seems a lot of apps not being optimized (doze), can be fix by install hidden miui settings app and manually optimize those apps

hello,
.you need to enable onscreen navigation to show full screen gesture option.
you can manually do it by
root explorer (you need to modify system file)
1. Go to /system/build.prop and add qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
