The bugs are the same as on the latest CM 14.1 builds but there's no doubt they are fixed quickly

Please, find a way for Sprint users, on Sprint firmware ONLY, to flash this ROM!
Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.

Anyone tried in Multirom with MM firmware?
Leedroids 7.0 build is working fine, what about CM14?

Nice!!
Seems like we have several options in the custom ROM scene (outside of stock based ROMs)!!!
Does this include OMS/Substratum by any chance? As far as I'm aware, CMTE isnt currently working on CM14.1?

Welcome Back @krassermensch and thanks for the ROM

CMTE hasn't been ported so far but it's also just a question of time
Edit: I haven't tried out Substratum so far...

I'm sure it'll flash fine I'll try it later. MultiROM the Resurrection RR (AOSP) and the Viper 4.3.1 (Sense) flash fine. I'm still on Viper 3.5 (Marshmallow) and 1.9.x firmware. S-ON USA Unlocked.

Can we have a list of what they are? I haven't played much with the Nougat ROMs until last night. I know what was a problem with the MM based ROMs that weren't stock-based but what's the issues on Nougat with these ROMs?

Mainly fingerprint sensor not working. So I use Onscreen buttons now. That's because of MM firmware.
P.S damn Stock ROMs are bloated...

Yep, u need Nougat Firmware for fingerprint to work. I'm also S-On but using a RUU I could upgrade the firmware. The signed firmware itsself isn't extractable from the image, pitty...
And yes, you're right. All the source built ROMs for HTC 10 use QC 2.0. This can be changed in the kernel but I don't like playing around with such values since my phone is in huge danger if I do so...

Is there ota updates and does this build get updated when cm sources get updated

Hey @krassermensch,
I've installed your ROM this morning and it's working smoothly. I've noticed a few things so far (more cosmetic than bugs)
1) In settings there is a "Notifications" and "Notification & QS drawer". These could be combined together?
2) in the Display settings you have LiveDisplay and Night Light. I think this is effectively the same thing so doesn't need to be duplicated? LiveDisplay isn't working but this is an issue in the source code not your implementation of it.
3) Navigation has some overlap with Buttons around the navbar settings.
Really good work overall.
A question I did have is whether you would be willing to add F2FS support?

There's no OTA, I could modify the cyanogenmod ota app to work with my builds but this would require lots of time. Anyway, the most recent cm sources are merged regularly.

Welcome to VanirAOSP.
Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op

I was hyped when I noticed this thread a few minutes ago.
Is this not officially supported? Cause I can't find the build on their storage page.
Are you a part of the team? Is this built from source by you?

I am an official maintainer for Xperia V but I will try to get official support from vanir for z1 compact after I fix bugs on the Xperia V builds. Of course, this is built from source and is stable for daily use as confirmed by @rob rich I will try to squeeze in time to update. Wanted to update it today but I had no time left.

OK, didn't know that because I haven't used CM for a long time. I can not tell if the bug was present in your older builds, build 3 is the only one I used. So I think there is nothing you can do to fix this bug, right?

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
Check here for latest F2FS compatible recovery by @invisiblek: http://www.invisiblek.org/twrp/
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Make a backup, then restore a touchwiz backup (or flash a touchwiz ROM) then calibrate compass. Then restore your backup of this ROM you made first.
By the way, to calibrate compass once you are back to touchwiz, just use dialer code *#0*# , select sensors, then waive your phone in a figure 8 until the number in the little circle at the bottom has a 3 in it.

LTE doesn't work on Boost Mobile? Simple solution by @madbat99 (Thanx Man )
madbat99 said:
@gergl Yeah if you search the thread you'll see a little trick I started to get data. Basically you wipe, flash ROM, gapps, and APN fix. Boot up once, then back to recovery and dirty flash ROM and gapps again (no wipe, no APN fix) and 4g lte data will work fine. If you're running it now without working data and you flashed rom, gapps, and APN fix, just boot back to recovery now and flash ROM and gapps again (no wipe, no APN fix).

Nope.. same as (any) CM12 ROM. Try a better camera app, working..
Great ROM. And what is lockscreen toggle in quick setting use for? I guess its for sleep the phone (like press power button) but its not..
Yes! I've been using this for awhile waiting for a stable release. Although the nightlies have been stable enough for me for quite some time.
Holy jeeeeez!
This ROM is amazing! I have tried a few different ROMS now and this one is smoother than anything. On top of that, it is far more stable than the latest CM11. Obviously the camera is no good. And here is an additional disappointment... the Google camera wont work on it either. But I am willing to live without the camera for the amazingness of this ROM. Awesome battery life too! BTW... I am using the latest PA GAPPS RC.
Running this one myself since the build completed this morning. Seems to be smooth so far, I did switch it to the BMS kernel though. Good work and now with OTA!
has the google camera worked for anyone on this build?
It did not work for me. Also, my GPS is not locking. Will the TW load and restore fix?
This is happening every time I plug in the phone charger. Any suggestions?

Similar to Slim and its derivatives, 'Phone' is fc-ed when 'Setting > SIM Cards > Preferred for' is set to Dual SIM - Always Ask (for phone and SMS). It runs okay when it's set to SIM 1 or SIM 2. But I love its dark UI, thanks, @Vj Raj.

Nope, try Temasek. I believe it has floating windows a.k.a. multiwindows.

Tried God's and Xcelerate on this ROM, but those custom kernels broke 'Camera,' and perhaps other incompatibilities that I wasn't aware of.

Thanks! will look into the Dual sim issue..
Custom kernels do work with this ROM. If you get Camera issues, flash the Firmware zip provided by @fefifofum

Aah! That firmware issue again. I've restrained myself from flashing it coz i tried to keep the installation as pristine as possible for bug reporting. And recently I had 2 random reboots in less than 30 minutes period. It was during a standby state on wifi connection. I hope my first dmesg logging is sufficient to locate the bug. Thanks, @Vj Raj.
plzzz add screenshot................
I Appreciate this new ROM
I've tried for some hours
when I tried to change wallpaper, it always need to reboot.
Thanks
Vj Raj - I am unable to boot any of your ROMS. The mobile just restarts even if it goes to home after multiple reboots. Might be kernel issue. I am on AOSP+Layers by Aniket and it works perfectly fine.

Did you try flashing the latest kk firmware file provided by @fefifofum in cm-12.1 thread?
if not, try flashing the ROM, flash GApps, flash Firmware file & then boot.

I didn't see a version for dl for cm14, only stock mm and cm13. I believe cm14 has the kernel built in, though.

NOTES
Do not flash LoonyKernel. Rom already ships with LK along with LK tweaks. If there's a kernel update, I'll separately post kernel update zips for my AOSiP builds.
Recommended TWRP: Download [Thanks to Lyuu]
Recommended OpenGapps Package are Pico and Nano. Users may go for Micro if they want pixel launcher. Any other higher packages is not recommended and may unnecessarily use more memory.
Spectrum support is inbuilt so you just have to install spectrum app from play store to switch b/w different modes depending on the task/activity you are doing.
What's not working
SELinux (Disabled for now)
FM radio does not work
Video recording (Use open camera or asus camera)
In-built camera of some social media apps does not work (e.g. whatsapp)
Flashlight QS toggle (chop gesture works)
If any other you encounter please report with proper logs

Excellent ROM, but unfortunately I could not install magisk. Every time I got the message that it was not installed. When I install it via recovery, magisk says it is installed ... Solution?
Really great work ICrD512 on your ROM. Including sound and volume in the QS pulldown is nice to have, as well as all the other options in the OwlsNest. I had no problem getting Magisk v18.0 to work after installing Magisk manager 6.1.0. Flashed Asus camera and that's working fine Also. Weather on the lock screen would be a nice addition, but everything loads quick and smooth. Xt1644.
Did notice screen brightness is high at 0% on slider for night use. Editing lcd backlight file in root explorer from default 10 to 2 is a temp fix which reverts back when screen turns off. I think I've seen it mentioned in other pie Rom forums that brightness changed in pie.

I agree. It has been one of the best ROM 9.0 I have tried. But since Magisk did not work for me, I had to remove it. I'll take a look again.

I never flash Magisk until I've setup the ROM to my liking and then booting back to twrp and flashing Magisk. Then boot back to ROM and installing Magisk manager. I know others might have a different flashing sequence but this has always worked for me on pie roms.
Great to see another Pie ROM, thanks for your efforts!
Minor issue:
- AOSiP: Charging info on lockscreen is wrong I think: 344mA/h / 4V
unit for charging current should be mA, not mA/h
(and just one digit in 4V is not very accurate ..)

WhatsApp camera not working always crashes
Indeed the best of all pie roms I've tried till now. One thing I really liked about this rom that it didn't gave me inconsistency at performance. Ran smooth when I flashed it and still running smooth unlike some other where by now I start getting stutters and frame drops. Just one thing pls OP can you do something about the status bar gaps on left and right side? It doesn't look good honestly.
Finally a pie rom I am enjoying very much.
