yeah.thats one problem of goodlock.if u want to remove.then flash the stock firmware through odin and then again flash twrp...it will be in previous state...else if u have any backup of system through taken by twrp before then just wipe system and cache and then restore only system.in this way u can save ur data.i think it will be helpfull for u.

Ok.thanks mate for ur information.i think its suitable with ur device.maybe u have less free ram in ur mobile to use this app.that's y it maybe slow down.here i have used before its working fine with mine.j500f nd i have checked its support for all mm devices.

I don't know it seems to work fine on J500 this app is optimized to work on S7 and S7 edge and probably on Note 7 too as it's not available for other devices on Galaxy apps so i think we need to wait little while

I have a j500f and i can confirm it works better than stock system ui.

For me its extremely slow and i have same phone but bigger display and more storage and more ram

[Q] voice mate and disappearing apps issues

hello everyone!
i am having a weird issue where after each restart , some of my apps are removed from the tablet . not the icons , but complete apps uninstalls.
it was ok at first since i could just re install the missing ones , even the ones that came with the stock lg gpad 8.3 , but then i noticed that a system app , named Voice Mate has also been removed !
so i have two requests:
-does anyone know why this is happening. and how to prevent it
- can anyone PLEASE post/upload the Voice Mate apk , alongside the QVoice Speech Pack apk and the QVoice Engine apk (voice mate doesnt work without them ). The three of them should be in the system folder.
thank you for your help !

thank you for your input woody1
no , no battery managers
i have the exact same apps ( and their versions ) installed on my Galaxy s2 , but never had any issues there
besides , in the case of the voice mate issue , it disappeared after my first restart , right after i rooted my tablet , and before i had the chance to do an nandroid backup ... what i mean is that it happened before i installed anything on the tablet
i first tried to do a factory reset and then a restore , but the issue is still there in both cases .restore helped me get back some other system apps that where missing , like lg smartworld and lg taskmanager ( among others ) , but not voice mate , since it disappeared before the backup
can you provide me with the apks i listed in my first post ?
Anyone ?

Did you try a restore to stock using the method discussed in the All Things guide in the General section? Based on the fact that your problem happened when you first started using your Pad, that would seem wise. Something must have been wrong from the beginning. You might have lost other system apps, as well.

well, i was planning to leave restoring back to stock via lg's software , as a last resort. .. since i am quite limited with my internet speed/bandwith/traffic
after some analysis , it seems "something" is trying to transfer the missing apks to the sd , but since the gpad doesnt normally allow it , they are being removed in the process .
i say "something" because i dont have anything installed that can do that , like app2sd for example. what is weirder is that it is doing it automatically ,without notice or warning .
i tell u , this is the weirdest android issue i have encountered
the only thing missing that i cant find or replace are the voicemate , qvoice engine and qvoice speech pack apks , so if anyone can upload them , i'd really appreciate. it

I too was on CM12 and had the same issue. I suggest you to switch on [5.0.2] [DUAL-SIM] Resurrection Remix ® Lollipop. You will find no problem. Even the updates are frequently updated. Nice Rom and everything is working fine. You just gonna love it.

You can use apps like Clean Master (Which delete the junk files) and Greenify (Which hibernate the running apps). Hope these apps will help you.
I have the same problem also. even when the device is at stock 4.2.2 its still laggy. i flashed touchwiz revolution v9 nothings changed.. :crying:
EDIT: I disabled Power Saving Mode and it lessens the lag.

Well, I experienced this kind of issue too. Now I have the 4.2.2 Original firmware and did some changes that made some difference. I went to Application manager > Downloaded and deactivated (or tried to) some of samsungs' bloatware, like samsung push, chaton, and some apps from google that I dont use, like google videos, google books, etc.
Well, this is not enough to prevent them to reinstall. You need to enter Play Store, select those apps, and uncheck auto-update (three dots at the right up corner).
Before I did this, a clear RAM never lower below 605 or 610 MB out of 804MB. After, a clear RAM reach as low as 395 MB out of 804 MB and my device got a little bit less laggy.
Maybe there are other apps that we can do such procedure.

there's no lag on me, its smooth. the nov 2014 update was improved stability. so now its smooth.
my advice is disable unwanted or unused apps like, samsung app, samsung link, samsung account, chat on, all that is related to samsung app. i know girls download apps alot, my gf does, but she has an iphone so not a problem, and also download clean master for freeing ram, and greenify to save battery. :good::good::good:

Then Search how to flash thru odin, remember, after flashing thru odin your phone will going to bootloop, dont turn off, just hold vol up + home + power, wipe data and wipe cache then reboot. Done. The triangleAway.apk is safe, it didnt brick my phone.

Well every ROM or mobile starts getting laggy after some time and to remove that u can try reflashing the device as it removes all the OLD data fies that are not deleted by any cleaning softwares and that I have tried and am sure will remove the lag for again some time, but yeah if ur phone is older than 2 Years sometimes even this might not work as your processor gets old and hence gets slow with time....
Hit thanks if it helped

[Q] Badadroid Greenify and else !

Hello every body .. I 've been using badadroid , version ( cm 11 ) by volk ( modified by Gunter33.)
any how ,
I 've been using this rom for almost a week . every thing is cool except the lag of course ( an old endless problems for bada droid )
so to try to improve my rom . I tried Greenify with Donation package , and was WONDERING ( can I use the exposed version of this app ) >>> will it harm my phone/rom/storage ? ...
I hope this can be a small blog not only to talk about greenify on badadroid , but also to contribute as a badadroid users or maybe Developers can join too and give advises/tips/methods to improve this rom in general ....
my phone is Samsung Wave II GT-S8530 dual boat :
1- bada 2.0 Turko 10.2
2- android CyanogenMod 11 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2609560
God bless u all my brothers in waves :fingers-crossed:
And special thanks to volk204 , Gunter33 ,Rebellos,Oleg_k, mijoma, nbates66, anghelyi, mikegapinski, hunktb, autra, Tigrouzen and many others for such an awesome job :good:
Well what can i say , i didn't try Gunter33 version , but I know Omni 4.4 by volk204 isn't that laggy , actually it has a pretty solid performance
For Greenify / exposed : i tried that once , and believe isn't there much of a difference , exposed will keep running in the background consuming a part of the RAM , and it is needed to greenify some system apps
which you don't need to hibernate , or they just did make that feature to a complete stock android ROM (there is nothing worth putting in hibernation in Omni 4.4 )
Probably it is time for you to drop bada completely
check my guide , probably will help you :

nice guide I gave u 5 starts for the hard work ,,, :good:
about using omni ,, I have installed cm 11 a week ago , so it took me about 2 years to finally decide to have android on my device ! . and considering that android isnt official for waves, it's always a good idea to have a bada os to save ur A** when Android goes Crazy ,, plus when I put my sd card ,android wiped all my photos from camera section , so it isn't a reliable os any way ,,,
.... I asked about exposed version so i can hibernate whatsapp and imo , without stoping the notification ,,
....
omni does still have screen wake up lag , and low ram .. so not a big difference .

"screen wake up lag" works great with me , true there was a bug but it was fixed a long time ago .
"low ram" , if you mean the available free Ram , it isn't really of that importance , the 4.0.4 version was light on the system , but it had its bugs and the developers fixed them on the next release android 4.2 , if you want a free bug version ( latest bug fixes) consider installing the omni 4.4 , and if you want dual boot , the roms that support that has it own bugs
see this guide for dual boot by BenzoX ROM] [CM11] SD and NAND version of Badadroid v4.4
And thanks for the 5stars

[Q] xperia z1c lollipop memory leak issue

is current xperia z1c lollipop still have memory leak issue ?
I used lollipop for 2 days already. and it always restart my game (minimized to background) after I open browser to use google (yeah only 2 recent apps displayed. chrome and game apps).
I hate this because my game need long time and heavy bandwidth at loading screen. I never get this problem when I used kitkat. I heard there's xposed module to fix this memory leak issue but my phone isnt rooted.
or is there a way to return to default OS (kitkat) like when I first bought it ? maybe I'll do this way. reset it to kitkat again. but I dont know how.
thanks.
You can flash stock kitkat with flashtool. I should have stock EU . 157 rom somewhere on my pc and can upload it if you want.
Flashing stock rom is pretty easy. Watch a tutorial or something. I can help you a bit more when back home.
Back to your question. I have no idea I'm still running kitkat as L is still not available in my country.

is it working to use your stock rom at my country ? I thought different country have different kind of rom. not sure about this if this is true or not.
flashing stock rom doesnt need root access, right ? and maybe can I also backup current lollipop OS that I have so I can reflash it when it has been fixed ?.
so far what I like from lollipop is when someone call me, I can still use other app because call notification only use small box on top of my current running app. I like this feature very much.
It depends where do you live. If in EU it should be fine. If not I can find a rom good for your location.
No, flashing custom rom does not require rooted device.
I think you don't have to do the backup as you'll be able to just update it again ( at least I think so)

Generally you can root your phone without unlocking bootloader. It worked for me, at least on kitkat. I'm not sure what about the Lollipop though.
You should better ask someone else too as I'm not as experienced and don't want to give you false info.
But if there's pre-rooted rom here and it's working for android L you don't have to unlock bootloader to flash it.

okay I can get lollipop with root+xposed (all day tried this. I read some tutorial how to do it properly because this is my 1st time doing something like this. so tired ). although I dont know if xposed wont work perfectly like you said because I only use 3 modules so far. App Settings (keep screen on for game I'm playing) and Fix Lollipop Memory Leak and gravitybox (LP).
what I've done :
- downloaded kitkat 14.4.A.0.157 from XperiFirm. and flashed it using flashtool.
- I've realized .0157 can't be rooted for now. so I've used your link that you gave (Root FW 14.4.A.0.157 (LB/UBL) ).
- after get root access, then I installed recovery using Z1C-lockeddualrecovery2.8.11-RELEASE.installer.zip from http://nut.xperia-files.com/
- after that I flashed 14.5.A.0.242_CustomizedFR_Pre-Rooted_Dualrecovery 2.8.10 + Fix Xposed for Lollipop using recovery.
- and flashed Massive debloating and Xposed. links and procedure are also from that pre-rooted rom thread.
so far, no bootloop. dont know if I add some xposed modules again. I heard it will get bootloop if too many xposed modules is installed (?)

I know that feel
I have found a way to root stock LP having ULB. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60188952
Now going to try xposed. Since you have, tell me how.. Here is the official thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811. Is this where you get info?
although I dont know if xposed wont work perfectly like you said because I only use 2 modules so far. App Settings (keep screen on for game I'm playing) and Fix Lollipop Memory Leak (still dont know if this module will work.)

Xposed worked perfectly in KK. I tried more than five modules at a time without the bootloop issue. What I fear is the LP. Havent you checked the dev/Q&A thread of the modules?
what I've done :
- and flashed Massive debloating and Xposed. links and procedure are also from that pre-rooted rom thread.

wow so much struggle... I have a doubt, why not simply flash that pre-rooted ftf file over the KK? [being lazy to search for the thread]
So how is it feels? Dont forget to share your views and link to the thread..
I heard it will get bootloop if too many xposed modules is installed (?)

I dont know that. But I heard that activating some module(s) when some other module(s) is(are) active may cause bootloop in KK.
Hey there, the XperiFirm dev here.
No one answered your question so I will. The answer is: No.
Sony made sure to include the memory leak fix built in (the exact fix that the Xposed module offers) for their Lollipop releases. The Xposed module is pointless.
See attached screenshot. Basically the Xposed module replaces the AOSP function with exactly the same function but with this additional "release()" line. As you can see, Xperia already has this line included.

wow thanks to coming here :victory:
lol. so it's pointless to install that module because they are same thing exactly. time to uninstall.
actually my game is still restarted after I browsing a little. although I still see a lot of free memory in here. before, I thought this is because of that memory leak issue but I'm wrong.
if only there's module that can prevent lollipop refresh/restart/clear my game at memory when I minimized it at background.
I have the same problem, only with audio apps in the background. Pocket Casts, Stitcher and BeyondPod all crash and stop playing when running in the background, after I do something else like load the game Threes. This never used to happen with KitKat. I've also noticed that iplayer radio gets very jerky and skips back and forth by a quarter of a second continuously as soon as I turn off the screen. [edit - I just listened to it for a few minutes with the screen off and it suddenly cut out. I turned the screen on an the app was no longer in my notifications tray]
If Sony fixed this particular memory leak, what's going wrong with my phone? Could it be related to the fact that I've encrypted if for the first time? I'm getting desperate enough to consider factory resetting and losing everything, because listening to podcasts and playing threes is one of my favourite activities. It's not a demanding game for my year old, top of the line phone. My cheap tablet manages it, and so did the phone on KitKat!

Nova on Nougat EMUI 5.0 beta discussion

Let's have a good talk about everything EMUI 5 beta just to keep the other thread's clean
Latest beta build: B320
First of all I m really amazed from the multitasking performance of the beasty I launched every app that I have so far around 50 and the RAM is still only 1.76GB out of 3GB on the other hand 20% battery for 6 hours of use with constant 4g GPS what sorcery is this ???!!!??? Dark magic ! Huawei magic? Or just Nova!?!
What are the noticed differences between mm and nougat rom?
Please tell the benefits + some screenshots of these great...
Here's some screenshots from geek bench etc it runs great so far

You need SD card not your internal storage to do the dload method there is a b320 for the L01
@piko1bg
Could the colors of the tiles in notification pull down changed in color? Or do they belong to the themes?
Thanks for this great review. Split screen seems to be a success with knock sense...
I'm thinking of abandoning the xposed till @rovo gets the nougat version to work - i like the network speed meter module on the left side of screen not in the middle (that's all i need from xposed for this time)
(... away and secretly downloading update files...?)

It's strange xD We are not forced to have an SD card ^^ i hope a other method will out :/ I could install it but suddenly I can not :'(
I never try'd to do it from the internal storage but it works try it let me see if I can find the L01 update link
Merlin21 About the notification icon color they are just that blue I'm not able to find if you can change it so far about the split screen it works like google pixel without the knock sense hehe there are a lot of hidden secrets In to the Nova's EMUI 5
Hi guys, i've CAN-L01 eu and i've updated to nougat. Notification led is not working. Someone else has same problem?
i have good news everyone the CAN-L01C02 received B306 i assume its Nougat?
Just go and check your phone settings ?
Android 7.0
we need the boys from Huawei to give us an downgrade update for the nova (i dont know if the P9 one would work )
To downgrade the following should work?!
- easily flash twrp recovery via fastboot
- wipe and restore full backup from emui 4.1 with twrp
I believe this should work...? What do you think?
I still didn't flash emui 5 because i like the design of 4.1
Huawei haz some kind of an update method so we just need to wait for a bit they would release one for Nova too i assume
i really like EMUI 5 its stilll not fully optimized but looks great feels snappy with occasional lag but its beta thats normal
