Brightness still not fixed - keeps it on max no matter if you try to lower it.
GPU OC - OK
CPU OC - not working
Disables sim card - i mean it shows you provider, you can enter PIN but keeps saying no network available. MI account says you changed sim card and need to re-activate it.
However AnTuTu marks 133074 score

@Pedroenf missed a value with the lastest kernel, now im compiling one completely brightness fixed
I havent changed any for sim cards, and for me it's working fine
before looking into it ill wait for someonelse report (i have OC to pay attention for ^^)
thank's for the report

can you overclock mi5 64gb?thank you....

Quick fix build up:
- Fix completely brightness
- Some code fix here & there
I'll look for OC now, stay tuned ^^

i don't understand why 2 big cores says stopped(cpu-z).it is possible to fix this?after update to android 7 same problems for the beginning...
thank you...

@tasoskio it's not a problem, it's a features called MP-Decision
It's for save battery life, it's just stop big cores or little cores if you dont need them
but, when you play an heavy-app then all 4 cores will be online

yeah. this would be cool! :good: btw. i'm new to s9 came from s7e. is it possible to start dex (when kernel is patched) if i use a mirroring app like sidesync, teamviewer, chromcast, Mobizen, Airdroid and so on...
Not sure what happened, but my phone performs a lot slower after flashing this kernel. Also, is it normal that when flashing the kernel, the device automatically reboots? I also get the SecuritylogAgent notification now.
Just flashed the kernel and my phone i very laggy and it keeps rebooting over and over
Don't know why is this hapening
I found that random rw speed is drastically reduced due to the linux updates. I'll find the related commit and revert it!
Thanks for your understanding
In case anything goes wrong or looks suspicious, you can always attach a log from your problem :good:
Face & Iris Recognition Errors.
I've just flashed kernal and phone boots fine into setup. Face and iris recognition has stopped working. It states it can't see your face or eyes. Is this a known problem?
Thanks in advance.

Not a known problem (otherwise it would be listed in the bug list). Kernel logs are always welcome
Tkkg, can you post a zip with the stock kernel in the mean time for me to flash? My phone is unusable in this state.
Is it me, I can only get big cores to clock to 1794 in Adiutor?

Running on Resurrection Remix Rom. Working fine so far.
please fix bug in kernel, charging issue while in power-off-charging mode 5v 3A , the phone is blocked
last build dot os is fixed, thanks
Flashed it on miuipro!
But WLAN was broken. Then i read here it is only for lineage based roms.
Thanks god for backups
By the way will be there a stock rom Version?
Flashed it on dotOS
But WLAN was broken.
Same here. İt booted and I didn't see anything broken other than wifi.
For everyone that is using my kernel and got WiFi not working: you need to use LineageOS, crDroid, AOKP or RRMX
DotOS it's not updated, and doesn't allow built-in WiFi module.
(nor MIUI is supported)

Can be provided a detail of what have different this kernel Than stock one? Maybe only inbuild governor tweaks?
Priima+ Kernel for Jason, Update!
Changelog:
- Added Alucard governor (smooth enough while maintaining better battery than interactive)
- Added 300MHz step for both cluster (you can select that in EXKM or KA, be sure to disable msm_thermal first)
- Fixed fast charging
- Limited fast charging to 2.5A (better for our battery, and I WON'T change that)
- Kernel tweaked by first boot
If you don't want to mess with EXKM or KA, be sure to uninstall them before flash, and kernel will be tweaked automagically!
Enjoy!
Download Here
(Download link update also in the first page)
Running newest priima kernel since 4 days on RRemix Rom. No issues at all. All working fine. I especially like the option to set the color intensity for the display. Also alucard governor works pretty nice for me. Any suggestions for best I/O scheduler for balanced performance/battery. CFQ and ZEN gave me pretty choppy experiences. Deadline performs well but it's a bit battery heavy I think. I like the kernel over all pretty much. Thanks for the hard work.
How to use this. ???

Introduction
After a year of experience I introduce to you a completely new Soda sparkling experience!
Release schedule will change: upstream version is abandoned, new official release every 2-4 weeks, nightlies every time new changes are made (see telegram channel).
Talking about this year - now my kernel is totally different. I've learned a lot, Soda is developed better than ever before. I'm also using my own toolchain.
Compatibility
Any LineageOS based ROM with vendor partition support.
Downloads
download from AFH
Installation:
- download kernel zip and check MD5!
- boot into recovery
- (flash your ROM if you flashed any sort of custom mods before)
- flash the zip
- reboot to the system and taste the madnesss
Always remember to flash the kernel on clean ROM!
The Soda Kernel
Features:
Known issues:
- A well known speaker/earpiece problems (it's not exactly my fault lol)
FAQ:
Could you add XYZ feature?
I will not add features I personally think are useless. I can only promise I'll take it into consideration. If you're so single-minded about that just fork my repo and pull request - I'll pick it gladly.
"My phone freezees help meeee!!!!!!!11oneoneone..."
Description, logcat, kmesg or GTFO.
Could your changes damage my device?
I don't take any responsibility for broken devices, firing from work or nuclear wars. It's a hobby project maintained in my free time. I carefully pick up changes not to mess anything up and add features that are checked and provided to work correctly. There is a small chance you could loose your phone completely, typically it will just freeze and reboot.
Where is version for MIUI/EAS?
MIUI won't be supported because Xiaomi haven't updated their repo for a long time. Building for MIUI would bring more problems than advantages.
EAS is in testing stage and will be released soon.

@xNombre I confirm working on pixel experience rom,
But the frequency was set back to 1.8 GHz, as compared to default darkness kernel 2.15 ghz,
One more thing, little cores min frequency not locking at 307 mhz, always going back to 1363 mhz
Any fix?
Thanks a ton bro for a fresh kernel

There's the Nougat version that has been around for a long time, and also a new Oreo version (from beginning of last month, so new is relative).
I think @xNombre meant that his kernel is made for Oreo ROMs only, and was referring to the Nougat ViperOS version, as this is the one everybody uses.

Why simple kernel?
- The simple kernel is a highly optimized aftermarket kernel for the Xiaomi Snapdragon 845 series of devices. This includes the Mi 8, Mi Mix 2s, and Poco F1.
- Also, the kernel receives at minimum monthly updates, sometimes even weekly, and is thoroughly tested by myself and a select group of individuals who also contribute to the project.
Features :
- Based on latest android 10 caf tag
- Google common for Q merged
- F2fs stable merged
- Rapid GC for f2fs
- PELT (per entity load tracking) backported from Android-Mainline
- RCU (read copy update) backported from Android-Mainline
- Vnswap and Zswap
- Highly optimized memory allocation
- Boeffla wakelock blocker
- Highly optimized deep sleep and idle drain (usually 0% overnight)
- Sound control
- Latest drivers and update source from mi-opensource
- Compiled with Clang 10.0.0 and LLVM polyhedral loop optimization
How to install and compatability:
- This kernel only supports android Q aosp roms
- Flash zip in a recovery of your choice (twrp is recommended)
- Flash magisk (optional)
- Reboot and experience the simplicity

sleepy kernel • Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite
sleepy kernel is a kernel that has been available on Telegram for a while now, this kernel used to be the stock kernel for POSP a rom which I used to maintain.
sleepy only has a couple of features and feature requests won't be accepted and or looked into as this kernel will only be maintained in the form of upstream merges etc, the main reason behind this is because I don't use daisy and or sakura anymore so I don't feel like spending any more time on this than needed.
This kernel is based on the kudproject msm_4.9 kernel base
Features:
DT2W for Goodix_TS and FTS_TS Users
Fingerprint gestures (for FPC and Goodix users)
Faster fingerprint unlocking
WireGuard VPN acceleration
Compiled with the latest Proton Clang 13 toolchain
ThinLTO optimizations for performance
CPU Governors: schedutil, powersave and performance.
Efficient frequencies (thanks to Laststandhere)
CPU overclock, technically it's not an OC as i just switched the bin to 7 from 2 so it uses the native clocks of sd626 which is a better binned 625 (thanks Mochi {Jebaitedneko})
CPU undervolt ^
exFAT support (thanks Arter97)
Use /dev/srandom instead of /dev/random
Minimal debugging to prevent overhead and to improve general performance

please refrain from tagging me on telegram as I wont be fixing any issues which may occur when you run this kernel, as always you do this at your own risk and if you do happen to run into an issue please make sure your not using any mods and or dirty flashed a rom.
also this post won't be updated its simply here to inform you about the existence of this kernel for the people that didn't know about its existence yet.
i don't use daisy anymore (i still own the phone but i switched to the pixel 5) so you can motivate me to keep merging updates and stuff by donating to my paypal over here!
Major thanks to:
sleepy - YouTube (he is the reason why the kernel is named the way it is)
laststandrighthere (for his work on Vince)
darkhzy_kh (for his work on PRLMK and other contributions he made)
krasCGQ (for his amazing kernel base)
SebaUbuntu (for the msm8953 common kernel)
spac3b0y (exit.c)
and of course the others which helped with bringing the kernel to the point where its at right now.
For anyone that's curious POSP will not receive any future updates from me due to college and the fact that i am getting a new phone, I am extremely thankful for the support you guys gave me and I had a ton of fun maintaining the rom besides in the end then but oh well.

I saw some screenshots confirming that the A2 Lite can support 866 Mbps Link Speed with custom kernels.
I have custom ROM, but my phone has only 150 Mbps Link Speed, and I'm searching the kernel which can support 866 Mbps because it may be possible and the processor is supporting ac, but it may be fake
For the moment works like charm on havoc os a10 i was facing drain battery and has improved thanks to this
