Seidio I know will have belt clips. I will probably get a Caseology Parallax and just buy the holster.
Really hoping Diztronic releases one at launch for the the XL. By far my favorite case brand

I'm going with the Spigen Rugged Armor case. I have that case for my Pixel XL, and it provides just the right amount of protection while keeping the phone slim and attractive looking.
Does anyone have any experience with dbrand skins and rhinoshield crash guard bumper case? Do they generally work well with one another

It's pretty slim for a fusion case, but not as slim as a thin clear case.
I had the rinke fusion on my oneplus3 and pixel XL. It's a nice case in may ways, but the shiny, smooth clear plastic back means it's one of the greatest fingerprint magnets on earth and usually ends up looking crap. I got bored of cleaning it and wiping it all time, so I replaced it with an Incipio octane, which has a frosted clear back that does not pick up fingerprints. The Rinke is slimmer than the incipio, but you should get better drop protection with the octane.
Why can't case manufacturers offer fusion cases with a matt finish on the clear back? Sure, a smooth finish shows off the phone better, but only if you hold it with gloves. Maybe it's just me that thinks this way!

Waiting to find out about the UB Pro. Really nice case with holster. I already checked out the OtterBox Defender. They offset the holster's clip (the part that snaps the phone in) in the opposite direction on this model for some reason. Meaning I have to wear it on my left side, upside down, or spin the phone 180° to snap it into the holster. Not gonna happen. Looking for a different solution.

Depends on what you mean by durable. I had one on my 6p and did a great job holding up against scratches/scuffs while making it more grippy (CF textured vinyl). However, at the end of the day, its still a piece of vinyl so it wont do much for drop protection.

I received the PITAKA MagCase for the Google Pixel 2 XL along with the car vent and suction cup mount. I have an unboxing, overview and review of PITAKA products.
The MagCase is really thin. I have a Caseology Parallax with Seidio Holster and with the MagCase int he Seidio, it bounces around. That's how thin it is. It's as if the phone is naked. I also have the Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass installed and the screen protector and case work well.
I have a Seidio dash mount that comes with thin magnetic plates like the MagMount. For the Seidio magnet plate, I sandwiched it in between the phone and the Caseology Parallax case and it works with the MagMount without a problem. The same for the MagCase with Seidio dash mount.

I've gotta ask as I just came Across this case. Does it have more of a soft plastic feel like that of the old Motorola phones? (Droid Maxx etc) or more of a slippery plastic feel like the most others?
I thought videos were supposed to all external links lest we turn our house of den of self advertising Myself I would much rather see links to YouTube instead of seeing the video's all over xda, I mean if we don't stop now don't we already get pounded enough on us in advertising. To be brief, I purchased 6 cases. Each had its advantages. The best case is the Spigen Tough Armor case with built in kickstand. It is a dual layered case but you can insert and remove the case while both layers are intact. Great protection and styling. Buttons are nice. Not too thick. I wish the side edges were smoother but I can live with it. Got it from ebay for about $17.
My 2nd choice is the Diztronic tpu case. It is thin and light. Nice to hold with a matte coating. Screen is protected by the edges. Styling is nice and simple. Buttons are fine. Not as much protection as the Spigen case and no kickstand but I like it's simplicity.
It goes for about $13 on ebay.
I like to switch off between the 2 cases.

If you want a tough case; the Otterbox Symmetry is amazing. It has the standard Otterbox protection, without all of the bulk of a Commuter case. It's a nice looking case without all of the cartoonish angles and lettering. I like it better than the Spigen Tough Armor (which is a very good case, BTW). I was able to pick up a black Symmetry case on Amazon for $19 (prime).
There are literally dozens of cases for this phone. The one I want and can't find is the Zizo Bolt Series for the 2 XL. I've seen the reviews on that case - and I'd love to have one. They make them for the standard Pixel, the Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 3 / 3 XL.... but I haven't seen one for a 2 XL - which is odd.

Im all about the Spigen Case, Its been a great case for me so far.
I've been using Diztronic for a long time, at least since my Nexus 4. It is hard to top. We got the Spigen Tough Armor case for my wife's Galaxy S7 and discovered it was too thick for our car vent magnetic holder. I assume same issue with Pixel 2 XL version? I was able to snag a navy blue Diztronic before it fully went sold out, unfortunately on back order though so who knows, currently says Arriving Tuesday on my Amazon order.
In the meantime, I have a Spigen Thin Fit. It freaks me out as it is really too thin on the screen side. it is a good compromise for folks that dont want a larger case though. It also has a built in hole for my magnet for my vent mount.

I bought a slim plain hard back cover, which was fine, but then found this:

Does it cover the bottom as well? Can you share some pictures? And how much does it weigh?
It's absolutely perfect. Weighs virtually nothing. Looks like its part of the phone. Covers everything but the screen.

Are any companies making bumper cases for the Pixel 5? I have a Rhino Shield Crash Guard for my Pixel 2 XL and it's been great but Rhino Shield won't be making the Crash Guard case for the Pixel 5 and I can't find any other companies that make a bumper case for the Pixel 5.
I figured I'd just make my own. Get a new inexpensive case that would fit the P5 and than cut and sand the back. IDK just have to see what comes out in a few weeks or months

Yeah, I might try to do the same if I can't find anything within a few weeks. I ordered a Spigen Ultra Hybrid case for my Pixel 5. It looks like it would be the easiest to modify.
Just bringing this up again. Wondering if anyone was able to find a bumper case like the Rhino Shield Crash Guard (which Rhino Shield isn't making for the Pixel 5).

Why did you link to a case for a Pixel 4 XL? I have a Pixel 5 which is why I posted this in a Pixel 5 thread. I had the Rhino Shield Crash Guard for my old Pixel 2 XL but as I said in a previous comment Rhino Shield doesn't make the Crash Guard for the Pixel 5.
There's another post where someone tried the Rhinoshield bumper for the Pixel 4 (non-XL) and it kind of fit the Pixel 5.
