Hey everyone. I put together a flashable zip last night to fix the plaguing problem of no audio in CM11 with T-Mobile.
@tdm provided the modified .so file, I just made the zip.
Tested On 11-14-2013 Build : Will Be Testing On Any Newer Builds As They Come Out
I flashed using CWM, but don't see why it wouldn't working using TWRP.

Already told you this but for others sake, I went ahead and used this when the OP was in the process of creating the zip and it worked like a charm on latest 4.4 CM build. Again big thanks to @tdm for the fix and @slipkn0t2012 for the zip!

just confirming that this also works on madmacks cm11
echo when on speaker phone
The fix works great when you're on earphone. However when you switch to speakerphone. The receiving end complain of lots of echo. Would you mind take a look at that. Thanks

The echo when using speakerphone happens on any network. It's not just a T-Mobile issue. Here's the JIRA bug report on it. If you have the issue (and you do... everyone does on CM/AOSP ROMs) a vote and/or comment can only help move this issue forward to resolution.

I am not sure if this will help you. This is a fix for the no audio in call problem for many users who use this phone on T-mobile. We weren't getting any call audio is custom ROMs save for stock. This will only work on KK for now. @tdm came up with a fix for 4.3 but it must be baked into the ROM. This is all @tdm work. To learn more ask him.

Good work. I can confirm this fix is working on the 2013-12-31 through 2014-01-02 CM Official Nightly builds.
Is there a Jira opened on this? I didn't find one.

this issue is not limited to At&t or T-Mobile i am having the same problem.

I'm on AT&T and have this problem. I've given up flashing ROMs because of it. I keep hoping to see a fix every time I come here; maybe one day I'll get lucky.
Try slimrom 4.3...it is the only one I can get to work on my e980

Strange the audio works on any 4.3 ROM only and not on 4.3.1 but with the mod on 4.4+

The fix does not work for me. In call sound does not work. Tryed all 4.4 roms. Only the externel speaker works.

I had not been able to get it to work until I did a few items:
The E980TMobileFixKitKat fix
The twrp_2.6.3.0_installer
Also format the SDCARD - after 4.4.2 installed then format the external SCDARD
While I have installed almost every KK, some small issue with them all except Harmony-2014110

Hi im using ROM][4.4][KRT16S] Nexus 5 Experience - Full Factory Image for Nexus 4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537932 ,install whatsapp from google play store ,sign in whatsapp when u finish , now u can switch to art ,and boom no problem after upgrade to art with whatsapp anymore

no, it FC and that is it, same for Titanium Backup
Confirmed for not working in ART. It can't work in ART, the dev even said so.

I second this, I'm using ART on my Nexus 4 and WhatsApp is not having any of it. Now we play the waiting game.
Uninstall current version... Download whatsapp version 2.11.50 apk and disable auto update... Working fine for me with 4.4 ota and art...

I faced an issue with whatsApp after the Kitkat update, and so I uninstalled it and after that I am not even able to install WhatsApp in any of the modes, may it be ART or Dalvik. Its giving error as 'Error in installing application '-24''
Please suggest on what needs to be done
The op of experience rom has this announced in his first post. So why here again? Also are threads out there with a flashable libart.so library. So every KK rom can run whatsapp in art with this modified lib.

since last update I have had some problems with it...some error warnings, network errors, no videos to show, login each time I want to coment....and yep some fc...

Do you use Xposed? Adaway eg? If so, update this module.

Well, as a matter of fact, it is your device and your setting to cause FCs, not a general problem, therefor no solution as long as you give no further information about system, apps, framework, moduls.

Could someone please post a current cm 11 build. I've been trying for hours and have basically given up. I'm using the phone as a work phones and just need everything to work. Thanks. Also when building I'm getting error SRC no such file. Or when using the default manifest I get No rule to make target `vendor/samsung/smdk4412-common/proprietary/sbin/cbd'

Most likely the latest CM11 release you will find.
Thanks but that build doesn't contain the stagefright fixes. I know I can just replace the stagefright libs but I'm not sure if there are other security patches I'm missing.

Someone was nice enough to make a December build that included the stagefright fixes. I don't use cm12.1 because I like having Netflix, Bluetooth, and video playback all working but also needed the latest security fixes.

Hi everyone,
I hope you could be of some help. I bought a global version Mi6 last week. I updated the Miui 8 to the latest official release and then I set up the phone. Since the beginning the Miui music app never worked. It stops as soon as I opened...I sent countless reports to Miui staff but no updates of the app yet.
Any idea or suggestion I could try to make this app work?

Since it's not a bug (it does really work like that lol), press the recent button and slide down the music app to lock it on the memory, there you go

Probably your mediafiles are broken. You can try deleting the files on dcim/.thumbnails & dcim/.tmfs & clear data on mediastorage.
