Battery seems to be dropping a lot quicker than everyone elses with moderate usage any ideas?

[Q] Battery Drain - Yet another whining thread - CM7.2

Hello all together
I'm browsing xda for a little more than a year now. You guys helped me a lot!
First I want to apology my english, I hope you understand what I want to say
Not a long time ago the battery of my WFS lasted up to 3 days (incredible if I think of it now).
That was with a self rooted stock rom and some changes (bravia, turboboost script, oc-kernel, etc.).
Out of nowhere I had problems with my calendar.sync.provider. Processes htc.bg and htc.bgp used the most of my battery (found out with Battery Mix).
I could watch the percent falling... Battery was getting very hot.
After i killed calendar.provider and calendar itself those bg-processes disappeared and all went back to normal.
Installed m1nd's rom, tried a lot of different settings, used calengoo instead of normal calendar (uninstalled the other)...
But battery life was never the same since then.
We also had a really rough winter and I was outside a lot. my battery began to drain faster. First I began to install apps like "auto wifi toggle" to stop that battery drain, after all I just bought a new battery this spring - 1500mAh.
But other than i expected - battery life did not increase. So I decided to install CM7.2 (wanted to do it anyway - great work btw!).
And guess what, nothing changed...
You will find some screenshots at the end... (did barely use the phone this 4 hours)
So what can I do? I'm desperate. The battery does not hold the whole day...
Please give me some tipps (if you have others than the general battery saving thread) or at least cheer me up
tl;dr: Phone works for 10h (mail, text, no phones, no games) - Changing battery & ROM does not fix battery drain...
Thank you in advance!
it happens to me too unfortunately, i charge it everyday or every 2 days
when i play a small mini game for a few minutes, battery drains like over 10% in a few minutes.
Have you tried calibrating the battery?

Hey scilax can you please tell me how to. Calibrate the battery.
Me too get a smaller backup when 3g is used for some 3 to 4 hours.
Please tell about that calibrating

Thing is, I charge my phone everyday. And I've been using CM7 or CM9, battery life never lasts more than a day. If it's only lasting 4-10 hours. Check your sync settings. Keep it only on 2G networks if using data. Get a battery saving application, in my opinion, it sounds like your using a lot of mobile data/wifi.

[Q] Arc on CM9 - battery doesn't last, any fix?

I installed CM9 FXP 127 yesterday on my Arc and the battery lasted about 8h only after being fully charged.
All this being in lock screen, no extra apps on except what is running after flashing the ROM, no toggles on to drain battery.
Anyone else got this problem? Got any fixes for it?
EDIT: 1 day before flashing CM9 rom, running the latest official ICS update I listened to music 7h straight on the phone with headset on while fishing and battery did not drain completely...still had enough battery to last me overnight when I got home and the second day (all this in idle). That's why I believe it's a CM9 issue
It may be initial syncing and stuffs. I tend to find my battery doesn't last the usual amount after flashing a new rom, but it's fine after a few days.
Thanks for answering. I will give it a few days to see how it holds up. At the moment I don't get more than 8-9h while in idle mode out of the battery.
Besides this issue there's no performance or any other kind of problems with the rom, at least for me (disregarding the posted known bugs ofc)

try jj'hybrid rom ithas the feel of cm9 however, it is highly battery efficient. in idle mode, it just discharges about 0.5% per hour (measured using batterydrain from market)
When flashing a new ROM have the battery level to atleast 70 - 100% battery status

[Q] s3 battery drain!

Hi I currently have telus s3 running cyanogen mod 10.2.
Recently it seems that the battery seems to drain a percent per minute even if its on and doing nothing.
The battery health is good and I always have the screen brightness to auto.
Even if I under clock it to 384 the battery gets really hot fast and just drains.
I dont know what is causing this drain!
If this problem is non fixable can someone please suggest a extended battery that isn't too bulky but has a long life?
Thanks.

Try a different rom maybe?
Check what's using up your battery using the better battery stats app.
Try the greenify app.

Android Using So Much Battery?

Hi all, although I did a lot of tweaks to get more battery life, I can't still get more than 4 hours SoT in a day. After charging my battery and rebooting my phone, I realized that Android is using so much battery. Is anyone have the same issue and what can I do to reduce the percentages? Thanks.
