Android 6.0.1 unlink bluetooth volume - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Is there a reliable way i can unlink the system media volume from the bluetooth volume?
every once in a while it glitches and I can independently control the volume from my phone and bluetooth device. When this happens the quality of the sound is much much better. Does anyone know how to turn this "feature" off?

Quiet Bluetooth

My bluetooth headset is awful quiet, my phone volume i all the way up, and it appears that the bluetooth volume is all the way up also. Any suggestions?

Marshmallow Notifications Over Bluetooth Muted or Quiet

Is anybody having this problem? When I am playing music over bluetooth to my car stereo or to bluetooth headphones, I can't hear any of my notification sounds.
The music gets quieter for a second or two and if I really pay attention I can just barely make out the sound of the notification. But really the only way I know that I had a notification is that the music volume turns down for a bit.
With Lollipop, everything worked as expected. The volume of the music would turn down and the notification would play loudly. I'm not sure why this change happened.
Any ideas?
I'm having the same issue. I've found that if I turn up the volume DURING the notification the phone suddenly realizes the volume is too low and cranks it up for that one instance.

How to unlink Bluetooth and system volume on nougat

Helllo experts,
I have just upgraded OP3 to nougat.
One feature of nougat I dont like is :linking system and Bluetooth volume.
Please give a solution to unlink both volumes. So that I can change both volumes separately either one from Bluetooth headset and one from system. Or both from system.
Reason I want: I want my Bluetooth device volume to highest level. This gives me bass sound more.
And if I increase volume now from Bluetooth headset or from android system (mobile) both volume increases and shows as single volume on screen. Keeping volume to highest level gives me too much volume. I want more bass at less volume. Which can be possible if I keep bluetooth headset volume high. And system volume low/medium(adjustable).
Please can some one resolve this. This feature (a problem for me) depreciate my music listening experience.
I don't have this phone.
The option is called "Disable absolute volume" and it is located in Developer options on my phone.

Separate Notification and Media Volume

Is there anyway to separate the media volume from notification volume?
For example, in the car, whilst listening to Bluetooth audio from the phone, I need to have my media volume up, but this makes incoming notifications simply frightening and brutally loud through the audio system.
Also, why does my media volume control notification volume?

Click to collapse
This is on the Mate 9 as well, drives me mental, and judging by no response to your question we are screwed. This is the first android device I have used that doesnt have separate volume settings for this??
I have been tempted to flash a vanilla firmware instead of huawie to see if it has the settings but it appears all the bootloader pages are down at huawie and I cant unlock it
Love the phone apart from this??
Anyone please????

In-call volume stuck at half with bluetooth to car

I am having an issue where when attached to my Bluetooth in my car I can not adjust my in-call volume in my phone. It gets stuck at 50%. I can adjust media volume no problem when playing music and can adjust the in-call volume in other Bluetooth devices like my buds+ and galaxy watch.
Any ideas how to fix this? It results in either very quiet call volume or when the call ends the music is crazy loudly.
I have this same issue.
Me too
Don't suppose anyone has managed to resolve this yet? It's still happening with me with Android 11 update.
Disabled absolute volume?
Make sure volume limiter is not enabled.
Clear system cache.
Reset network settings.
I have the same problem on tcl 55p83 ( RT851)
bluetooth max volume is limited to 50%
Any help ?
I have the same issue.... Just figured it was normal to keep distortion or feedback at a minimal?? But, maybe it isn't?
