Separate Notification and Media Volume - Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design Questions & Answers

Is there anyway to separate the media volume from notification volume?
For example, in the car, whilst listening to Bluetooth audio from the phone, I need to have my media volume up, but this makes incoming notifications simply frightening and brutally loud through the audio system.
Also, why does my media volume control notification volume?

This is on the Mate 9 as well, drives me mental, and judging by no response to your question we are screwed. This is the first android device I have used that doesnt have separate volume settings for this??
I have been tempted to flash a vanilla firmware instead of huawie to see if it has the settings but it appears all the bootloader pages are down at huawie and I cant unlock it
Love the phone apart from this??
Anyone please????

Adjusting Volume in Music Tab

Hey guys,
I have an issue where i am unable to change the volume when listening to music via the music tab in manilla (using 2.1 atm). The volume rocker changes the system volume, but the music does not get any louder or quieter, unless i put the device into silent or vibrate. The music tab doesnt have any volume controls either (an oversight imo). Can anyone advise me with how i can adjust the volume?
Thanks
Any ideas?
Volume rocker changes music volume fine on mine. Check on the thread for your rom, perhaps others have had similar experiences and can help you.

volume control

Hi! How can i adjust the volume of the music player without changeing the volume for ring tones?
first of all, most music players have their own volume control (wmp, tcpmp, coreplayer...), which does not influence the system volume.
secondly, if you have to use the actual volume keys on the side of the device, you can split the volume control to separate the system volume and the ringer, go to the manila settings tab, sound & display and switch Single Volume to NO (see screenshot)

Ok. Thank you. I just don`t found the volume control for the music player from HTC.

[Q] Have volume rocker always control media volume?

Is there any way to permanently make the volume rocker control media volume? My PLAY doesn't do calls so it's annoying that it changes the ringer volume when music or games aren't playing. The way I can think of implementing this ability would be to have a service running in the background that tells the phone music is playing even when it's not, as well as having it start on boot. I haven't the slightest clue about app development but this seems it should be a relatively easy task that hopefully wouldn't use too much battery by running though.. Is this a feasible solution that anyone could help with?

[Q] media volume behavior

Is there a way to alter the way volume Control is handled? apps that automatically control volume are only controling ringtone, system, and notification volume. specificly mort player is supposed to increase volume to 100% for the alarm but unfortunately it doesn't raise the media volume which is the volume mort player uses. Silent mode Gold does not mute the media Volume.

Android 6.0.1 unlink bluetooth volume

Is there a reliable way i can unlink the system media volume from the bluetooth volume?
every once in a while it glitches and I can independently control the volume from my phone and bluetooth device. When this happens the quality of the sound is much much better. Does anyone know how to turn this "feature" off?
