You can use the latest PK2 Version for VoLTE, by made small modifications:
use from the PI-Version: imsservice.apk, imsframework-internal.jar, imsframework.jar, imssettings.apk,
imstelephony.apk and 1 or 2 other (missing) IMS-.apk files and compare the /lib dir between the
2 roms. in the PI-Version are 2 libs more included for VoLTE. Just copy this libs to the PK2-Version.
I work since many weeks with the PK2-Version and have full working VoLTE Support for all
major networks. Just make sure, the CSC-Code match the SIM-card and the csc-config files
have the correct ims-settings included.
You can use the PI-csc files on the PK2-Version without changes normaly.
One extra note: You need for some providers 2 extra files:
IPSecService.apk + jni_ipsecservice.so
This files are included in the csc-file. Just copy the IPSecService.apk+Dir
to the /system/apps folder and the jni_ipsecservice.so to /system/lib

i have i9505 but jio sim never worked for me. 4g data symbol is not displaying and 4g data network not working. i can not able to use jio 4g internet
can you tell me using this ROM i can able to use 4g internet? however i can able to use airtel 4g without any problems.

I tried this a while ago and the IMS service was constantly force closing. I9505 is not my primary device and that is the reason why I didn't spend much time on getting it to work. Can you PM me your build so that I can test it on my carrier?

Thanks. First installed PI1_VOLTE-JIO rom after usual rooting/custom recovery. Installed Imperium_LL_Kernel_v5.5 available via this forum as WiFi was not working on PI1_VOLTE-JIO FW. Require WiFi in case of SIM swap to non-Jio w/o data pack.
One little thing is the signal meter never crosses two bars even when out in the open but works well and so no complaint.
Menu key works, even on *#0011# - just hold it for a second or two more seconds.
Calling while traveling long distance did not work even after re-register nw. Reverting to Jio4GVoice over stock or custom. Moved to RR nougat. Sorry.

First off thank you so much for this rom. But i am facingg this issue with calling. When i make a call,it rings for like one second on the other phone and then hangs up on its own. And it also hangs up as soon as i pick up a call i am reciving. Plzz help me out with this!

Can you use the CM7 Overclocked Kernel with this? and... If I went from stock to CM7, can I wipe and reflash this even though it's 2.3?
Yes, this is based on CM7.1 and has the CM7 kernel in it so it should work just the same as any overclocking with CM7.
This has root, so does CM7 (even though they are 2.3.4). Once you S-Off and install ClockworkMod you can ALWAYS install a different ROM, even if the one you are using doesn't have root.

Yes, that's the right size.
And about translation, you put them on your SD card and flash with ROM Manager or CWM Recovery.
ok , am trying now .but still strange , a rom isnt suppose to be between 200-400 mb ?
Yeah, Sense and Motoblur are huge. CM7 and MIUI are generally only between 75~85MB depending on what phone you have. This would be even smaller but I left Incredible S drivers in it. It doesn't come with a bunch of stuff CM7 comes with and it doesn't have all the Google apps. I think just Market, Gmail, Calendar.

Volume level is a bug or misconfiguration somewhere. That's what I'm trying to fix next.
I honestly have no idea if GSM works at all and I don't have a way to test it.

GSM is the SIM card. I don't know if it's working because I only have Verizon, which doesn't use the SIM card unless you're out of the country.
for 3G and MMS , dont need to enter APN configuration , i live in china .
For GSM i have china telecom sim-card .
Now i am trying to make a back up of my system using recov 4.0.0.5 , making is brokem , have No sd-ext found .
That's normal. You don't have an sd-ext partition. The backup is still working.

Go to general settings > additional > service menu > switch the CDMA to USIM phone should force reboot > following this go back to the service menu and change the Network Mode to Global + LTE That's it.

I believe in order to change it to LTE, we would need the Modem to be working. Because the current one tends to freeze MIUI when changing to LTE.
But after some research it looks like you have to flash both the modem and madmacks kernel for it to work. I haven't tested it myself though but I've seen some reports of people doing that back in the General thread. And I'll try and mirror that weekly one and just label this one 'stable' for more options.
Weekly is now up. I've tested it and there should be an update this friday as well via OTA. I'll keep the OP updated a week behind so users can just use the OTA to get to the latest.
This MIUI is pure Daily Driver material. Battery life is great, good performance/features, and GPS location lock is practically stock speed (like ~5 seconds on 3G). They really worked hard on this one :good::good:
Going to test the deep sleep tonight and report back tomorrow.
Update: After flashing the modem, I got a 5% battery drain after 9 hours with Wi-Fi on. So no different from any CM ROM you'll see around here.
Wow, this is one slick getup. The way they've seperated and designed the notication area really pleases me. I'm surprised that design hasn't been ganked by other roms. Mating this with a Cyanogenmod would result in some wicked magic, for sure. CM's awful notication area always maddens me.
This makes me so hype! I'm one of those (seemingly) rare people that really likes miui and have been hoping something with any kind of support would come to the G Pro. Can't wait to flash this tomorrow. Thanks for bringing us this rom.

I just checked the official form post and it looks like it's PTR or TWRP.
Tried installing it yesterday and no bueno. It wouldn't recognize the modem, no matter what I did.

The modem seemed to flash normally, but after I rebooted, it didn't pick up any network. "Mobile networks" was grayed out in Settings. I tried changing the CDMA settings but it FCed every time I did so and the settings remained unchanged.

Which carrier are you using?
And CDMA settings will FC regardless, it's one of the reasons LTE doesn't work at the moment.
Try going to Settings > Mobile networks > Network carriers and try setting that manually along with the APN.

I'm using AT&T. I'm not thrilled with Commotio (which I flashed yesterday after MIUI bombed) , so I'll try to reflash MIUI in a few minutes.

I'm back on CM11 but when I was using the MIUI 4.10.27 build I had LTE working, you don't need to flash a modem or anything just install normally in aroma and when you get in to the Service Menu select Mobile Networks then click the option Global+LTE and and hit the back button and the icon should change to 4G. Just ignore the changing the CDMA Subscription to USIM step as it doesn't seem to work or effect the E980 so leave it at NV.

Installation Instructions:
If coming from a different Nougat rom then boot into TWRP recovery

Wifi calling and volte working good here on tmobile U.S. One thing I noticed is that a reboot takes probably around 2 minutes to complete. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks OP for this! Hopefully we can implement on other roms as well.
works for me on t-mobile usa but it keeps restarting although i think that might be myy fault and showtimeanytime and hbo go don't work. i got magisk 10.2 but only with supersu not phh's . and the boot takes a long time, otherise pretty good can't wait for a final nougat release. I just want to know what I need installed to make wifi and volte working so I can have a stock rom if i want or any other rom

This is a quick guide on how to enable VoLTE and VoWIFI on every OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro device.
This method involves downgrading the OnePlus LogKit APK to the OnePlus 7 version.
I recommend you to backup the existing LogKit APK using ADB on a
Or download an APK extractor from the Play Store, i personally recommend: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ext.ui&hl=nl
After you extracted the original LogKit you need to download the old LogKit which you can find as an attachment in the thread.
Install the downloaded LogKit APK and follow the steps:
1. Open the Dialer app on the device.
2. dial *#800# and LogKit will open up.
3. Scroll all the way down and click on Function Switch (this is missing from the stock OnePlus 8 LogKit APK).
4. Select VoLTE and when prompted to reboot, press cancel.
5. Select VoWifi and when prompted to reboot press OK.
6. Your device will now reboot and you should have VoLTE & VoWifi enabled.
7. Reinstall the backup from the LogKit apk (VoLTE & VoWifi should still be enabled when you reinstall the backed up LogKit apk).
The above has been tested to work in The Netherlands.
If you have followed the steps, please let me know what your results are!

Can I know which network you're on in The Netherlands? I've tried this but it is not working with KPN as of right now.
I'm on AT&T in the US. I had VoLTE and VoWIFI working on my Note 8, so I know I had it provisioned on my line before. With this LogKit I was able to enable the VoWIFI switch. After reboot I enabled the feature, disabled data, and made a call successfully.
I'm not 100% sure if this is a successful test but just the fact that the VoWIFI option is visible in SIM & Network menu and I can toggle it on makes me think it's working. Is there a way to test this for sure? I can't test without a SIM and I can't make a call with Airplane Mode on, so is there a way to know for sure the call is going over WiFi?

I've tested this by setting the prefered call method to WiFi and then make a call to someone.
The following text will show up when calling: Calling via Wi-Fi call Tele2 NL.
Where Tele2 NL is my provider.

My dialer only says "Calling..." it does not say the portion where it says "via Wi-Fi call Tele2 AT&T" or the like. I also do not have the Record button at the bottom. Are you using a dialer other than the one which comes with the stock ROM.

Can't really say why wifi calling isn't working for you
I'm using the stock dialer. i've used jOnePlus Tools to enable the record option on the dialer.

Can confirm. Verizon is still a no go.
Crap I got excited this would work on Verizon, I was about to purchase again.
Doesn't work with visible (Verizon pre paid mvno). Once you switch the wifi calling toggle in the network settings and leave the screen, it unchecks itself.
Can anyone confirm working VoLTE and WiFi calling on T-Mobile with the IN2015 variant?

I've already tried with stock from Google Play Services and with the app Wallet from Google Play but always have same problem, which shows me the message:
Can't complete setup for contactless pay. To resolve this, you'll need to contact your bank. You can still pay with this card on Google and across other apps and sites, just like before
The bank say there's no problem and I still waiting the Google feedback answer.

I'm experiencing bugs with the chip internet, the internet only works 3g with an exclamation symbol showing no connection. Does anyone know what to do?

try to search manually, maybe 4G in your zone is not working temporarily

I followed the steps on the article until booting from the recovery IMG, but I can't
So I installed TWRP Recovery and did the rest then installed PE 13
after wiping all data and formatted.
Then I found the PE can't detect the mobile network from to 2 SIM slots even the wifi.
Please any thoughts on how I can solve it?
