[BOOTLOGO] [FLASHABLE] Moto G 2013 Lollipop Bootlogo for RAZR M - Droid RAZR M Themes and Apps

I found this nice bootlogo here, and I wanted to use it in my M. I had to do a small modification, because apparently, the image has to be square, instead of filling the entire screen (like the original one), so I scaled down the Motorola logo a little bit and moved the "powered by android" text below it. I really liked the result, so I wanted to share it.

What did you use to convert your image (say PNG or BMP)into the "bin" (ie RAW) format? I would like to have this image with a black background; the white is hard on the eyes in the morning when I normally first boot up my phone. The other thread has one which is purely black and white, but the soft blue tone is cool.

Nevermind, I found this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/app-motorola-boot-logo-maker-source-t2848667

You said you would make a black version of OPs thumbnail, I figured you meant the exact same except red instead of teal and black instead of white for the backround. Kind of like the stock one but updated a bit.

I had the image, so I quickly put one together, is this it?
I am basically using Paint.NET (freeware image editor for windows) and the converter at https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/themes-apps/app-motorola-boot-logo-maker-source-t2848667 But I use a blank install ZIP, and simply replace the logo.bin within the zip, with the logo.bin within the zip created by the referenced exe. I don't think the actual zip from the exe worked for me from memory.

HTC Rom branding

Just finally installed my first HTC rom. Very cool... works smooth and has a lot more free memory. However, is there anyway to remove their branding on screens such as in the call history? Here are the "green screens" that I have found thus far. They kinda clash with my scheme IMHO

Try this.
Put the CAB file in a directory and run it from your phone. After this you will find the HTC unlocker in Start / Expert
Which rom do you use ?
just use total commander. put hte files you want on the phoen in a temp dir... then on the phone go to that dir with total commander and copy them to the desired location. they should overwrite fine.

instead of the default hero one....problem is the "Htc logo" tht follows is not aligned with this one and this new boot.gif doesnt end with a fade effect. So can neone add in a fade effect at the end of tht png or at the beginning of this one ? I've tried but u can tell due to this post, i haven't succeeded.
the gif images are not allowed to have any transparency at all, otherwise it will not work!
That looks similar to the splash in the JacHeroSki latest build. You could open that and take the files out of that build and put them in yours and resign.

Hey, no i dont want it to be transparent. I want the first gif i posted to fade out. So there is no aligning issues with the second gif as they dont match.
Nah, just tried the jachero still has the hero loading screen. this is the htc loading screen. All this is missing is a fade effect. I tried editing but it becomes all f'ed up at boot
Just to be clear, are wanting to change splash1 or the animated 2nd screen (where the shiny android used to be)? If you are changing the 2nd, do this:
Open jaheroski.zip with winrar/7zip
Open the framework file
Open the framework res apk (away from pc so not positive of exact name)
With that open, go to the assets folder and open that
Open the images folder
Select the android logo mask png and the android shine png (again, not positive of exact names)
Copy them to your own build and put them in the same folder in your build.
Resign.
You can move all the images to your build as well with the same process.
That should give you the animation you want. I have followed that process and had that same animation in a custom theme I was working on.

No lol. Im running evil's hero. Instead of the hero loading screen i found this htc one. I like it better except when it goes from the screen with the android popping out to the htc loading, they dont match hence it looks wierd. I want the htc with the android popping out to fade out as it ends so the next loading screen doesnt look wierd.
this is way faster!

New Android Splash screens and Bootanimations (New Splash 15 Aug!)

As some of you have already asked for replacements for the Windows Mobile splash screens, I decided to make a couple.
To install these:
Download the NBH file by clicking the link below the image.
Copy the NBH to SD card, Rename to KAISimg.nbh, Flash by powering on while holding down camera button, same as flashing to nand.
These splash screens will not alter your nand flashed Android in any way, they simply replace the old splash screen.

I actually made the K S and E myself using gimp. Searched high and low for the actual font but its not released. I thought about changing the S and E to fit the rest of the font better but haven't got around to it.
Did wonder about that, been searching all over the place for that font, lol, but since it's not supposed to be used on anything other than official google andoid logos, I'll just have to use what I have

[APP] MotoG Boot Logo Creator + Flasher v1.0 [05.Feb.2014]

Hi everyone, here's my last release : MotoG Logo Flasher.
A little app that will allow you to flash your own custom logo as the MotoG splashscreen.
Current functionality:
- Convert your custom picture to a raw picture.
- Compress this raw picture to a specific Motorola format (thanks to Carock for decyphering it).
- Then inject it into a working logo.bin for you to flash.
- It doesn't matter if your BootLoader is unlocked or not, you'll never see the warning logo (thanks to ffosilva's hack).
How to use:
- Download and extract the attached zip.
- Create a 720 x 1280 x 24b picture (i've tested it with bmp, but you can try with png or jpeg).
- Run my app [MGLF] and hit the [Create logo.bin] button.
- You'll see a preview of your picture and can then decide to flash it or not.
- If you choose to go on, you'll just have to wait a few seconds till the process ends. Et voila! You'll end up with a working logo.bin to flash.
- To test/flash it, just use the "flash logo.bat" file located in the app folder.
- The inbuilt exception catcher should handle all the bugs, don't hesitate to report them.
- If you ever want to flash the stock logo.bin: just copy the "original.logo.bin" from the [bin] folder and rename it as logo.bin.
Bugs:
None so far (you tell me).
Well at least, i know that some colors are not exactly the same but it's a bug in ImageMagic Convert.exe. Will look into it later if it really bothers some of you.
Download:
Just grab the attached zip file and hit the Thanks button.
MD5: ee5a93c6a9564913eaff62a00b79bf5c
Thanks to:
Carock, for decrypting the logo.bin compression algo.
fosilva, for his nowarning little hack.
Madshi, for his great madExcept lib.
And you for using it. Have a nice day and enjoy it.
Planned additions:
- Reboot/Flash from the app.
- Fix some bugs if ever found.

Just use the "flash logo.bat", it will reboot your phone into bootloader and flash it for you.
This app doesn't deal with bootanimation, but if you still want to back it up, it's located in /system/media...

For sure, the more the merrier
