Modded Logo.bin to eliminate "Your phone can't be trusted" banner from bootloader - Moto Z Themes, Apps, and Mods

Modded Logo.bin to eliminate "Your phone can't be trusted" banner from bootloader
I created this logo.bin to eliminate the banner appearing after unlocking bootloader.
I used the MotoLogo from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/2015-moto-g/themes-apps/mod-change-splash-screen-various-t3182994
All credits to the creator of that thread: makers_mark
Flash it using fastboot
1: Download the logo.zip provided, unzip, and put in a folder
2: after that, power off your moto z and get it in fastboot mode
3: inside the folder where logo.bin is, hold ctrl+shift and right click anywhere and select OPEN COMMAND WINDOW HERE
4: execute the following command: fastboot flash logo logo.bin
after you turn on your device the banner telling you your phone can't be trusted should be gone
Flash this at your own risk, I do not take any responsibility on any mishappening with your phone.
I hope you find it helpful
Edit: Black version of Logo.bin added to OP
Edit2: Black version with motomods added to OP
Edit3: White version with motomods added to OP

Is it possible to make a dark version of this?

Sure. However, the matter with the dark versión is that there is a small white text that still appears after you change the bootlogo image. In a white background the text dissapears.

I would also be very interested in a dark version. Is there a way to flash this from TWRP or does it need to be from fastboot?

Ok, I'll create a black version. I do not how to create TWRP flashable zips. Maybe someone else could do it.

thats cool, im trying to find out if i can or not, checking the partitions on the z2 force, it uses the a/b partition scheme like the Pixel does, so i have logofs, logo_a, and logo_b partitions. im assuming it would be either _a or _b
i used adb shell to make a dump of those partitions using dd. if i flash your logo.bin and it doesnt work (and assuming it doesnt bootloop) can i use the dump image to write it back using dd again?

I guess you could

Well that well 'n truely screwed my bootloader! I now have no android images in fastboot mode, and a white 'N/A' in tiny letters on an all black background!! ...great.
erfanrom Nougat 7.1.1, TWRP, TurboZ kernel.

It's thought for the Z2 Force.
Thank you!

boot logo is the splash screen you see before bootanimation..here are the steps to use it..
you can do it by 2 ways..i>by flashing it through custom recovery
ii>by using adb command..
1>FLASHING-just flash the zip if the op made it flashable..
head on to custom recovery installed(cwm or twrp) and flash the zip provided
2>adb command(preferred by me )-open the zip provided and you will find a logo.bin file.copy it to the adb folder and run adb .now go to bootloader on you phone and type the command in adb on pc
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
done!
you will find the logo flashed now.if facing any difficulty just tell me.i will guide you or if you want i will teach you this using teamviewer as its a job of commands on pc :silly:

Yes. You need to install a custom boot logo with the following command:
Code:
fastboot flash logo <FILE>.bin

First of all, this thread is in the wrong section. This section is for development only, and you're not developing anything here. Move this thread to the General Q&A section.
Second, you didn't read the post I linked. The second link has 2 links for repositories with many factory images. Since I'm in a good mood, here's one with many choices for you: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/addison/official/

It works on any mediatek variant of e4.
Could you also provide a full guide to rooting the mediatek variant of the moto e4? Apparently the older guide isn't working and whenever i fastboot boot twrp.img, it just reboots the phone to the stock rom. I also fastboot flash recovery twrp.img but no luck

I just took the file out of the .zip given by op and flashed. But after flashing if I go into recovery mode, it just gives me "no command" screen. When I directly boot into the file, my device restarts to system

Make sure the file is named twrp.img because that's what you're typing in your command.
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Or fastboot boot recovery twrp.img
So either rename the file or change your command to match whatever the filename is of the recovery image you're trying to flash.
You're just telling it to flash, you have have to tell it which partition to flash it to. It's not fastboot flash twrp.img (especially if that's not the filename) its fastboot flash recovery twrp.img but the last part (twrp.img) has to match what the actual file is named.
Also make sure fastboot can find it.

Reread my comment. .img is put not because it's in the name of the file but because it's the extension. I've rooted my redmi 2 before using fast boot and I what I'm doing. If I rename the file twrp.img then I would have to type "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img.img"

Even i can't figure whats the problem with you . There is nothing bad with installation guide it is same as older ones. The recovery is from RR zip file. Its a working recovery and for daily use. I really don't know if SKU versions matters. Its the variant what we need. Confirm that you have tried everything and the above twrp is not fit into your expectations . I have flashed several roms with this recovery.

i don't know why you mirror other people's work without putting source and credits and without mirroring correct instructions but you go to other threads with full expectations of extra screenshots and changelogs and versions and sources and leave your suggestions
i think we are working around your expectations . keep the files here and help the people i enjoy that , that is cool for xda . but always tell the truth and give credit .

boot.zip & recovery.zip are stock file with no change theirs nothing new in it that you have to flash no-verity zip in a half custom and half stock Rom. i already dumped whole firmware through miracle tool. Theirs a guide already available in this forum on *how to dump firmware through miracle tool*. So they can extract their own.
here i help this guy PM from your thread after helping two other guys in last two days if you like i post screenshot here ...why you didn't help them bricking from your post
i don't have expectations ..these guys had expectations from your post but you expect other guys to help them fix or just to leave them hanging ..anyway peace and prosperity and i will stay away from your posts bro :good:
enjoy XDA but maybe you can see one day you request a lot stuff from other guys threads but just give nothing you request from other guys in your posts ..its just a thought ..you don't need to agree or change your ways
