Am I missing something here? Just upgraded to xda Orbit. All working lovely jubbley.
But....no SatNav software (CoPilot I think should come free with it). There's nothing in the box except the usual stuff....unless I'm being really stupid and it's right under my nose?!?! Where should it be??!?!
Anyone? Or am I not entitled to the free software as I am not a new customer?
Any light shed most appreciated.
I think o2 only gave away Copilot on the higher tariffs, otherwise you had to pay for it.

No....but have found an answer.
Looked on another forum and saw posts detailing NO CoPilot software unless you order online.
I am an o2 select customer (as most are I think anyway....) so used the phone to upgrade.
Well unhappy about this, but then again, I love a good argument (esp with o2), so watch this space, will have my free software by the end of tomorrow if it kills me!!
Thanks for any help given, and if anyone has any ideas about how to get this freakin software it would be most appreciated.

They send it out separately so may arrive in the next few days. But if I was you I'd ring them up and find out for sure. On a £50 tariff you're definitely entitled to a free Copilt. The Copilot pack should include memory card, CD, car charger and car mount.

Not quite true. Online gave away copilot on any tariff, but have now changed to the same as the high street where you get it free on the higher tariffs only. Ring them and get it sorted.
I upgraded over the phone but am an online customer (billing done online as opposed to paper statements sent thru the post each month). I got everything bundled into 1 box, should be 1 o2 branded box for the phone and a separate one for the Co-Pilot stuff.
Spoke to o2 this morning. Apparently I am eligible for the CoPilot, however o2 had neglected to order it....no surprise really.
Anyway, its on order and will be with me shortly...again, apparently....!!

Many thanks...due to this topic I called O2 and suprise suprise they found the Co-Pilot software in the store I should have got free. Went straight down and got it....thanks for the info.

Had a right nightmare upgrading mine with O2 over the phone mate.
After the usual yes you will give me what I want conversation I got em to agree to including the copilot and the handset for free.
Phone turns up...... no copilot anywere.
Call to customer services, "no notes saying its included sir"
"well I suggest you listen to the call" I said. "I wanna speak to the bloke who upgraded me (insert time date and name of operator) "
He calls me back, makes his appologies and explains he's sending it out today. Turns up next day, on a MINI SD Card!!!!!
Called back (again) explaining the problem, rather miffed by now. "only one I can order " he says

Finally get him to send me a Free Micro SD card to put it on, principle really as I'd already ordered a 2GB one
Just shows how sometimes the operators haven't got a clue! rant over LOL

So, in summary, o2 need a hefty nudge now and again. But we all knew that, didn't we?! If you ain't got your free software, a few well placed calls will do the trick.

hate to be so salty, but I straight up emailed the guy and said that if a successful transaction were to take place, I was certain I could send more buisness his way-thinking of everyone here of course. To play safe, just buy from HTC authorized reseller. Why bother how much they sell and you will have worried free and no headache.

I don't think it's possible. Before buying app, you should saw the warning: something like "That purchase is non-refundable and can not ... blah-blah-blah". By pressing "Buy" button you've agreed with these terms & conditions.

For example... I downloaded Bullet Asylum about an hour before it became available in the Marketplace on my phone. I found it on the Marketplace via my web browser and made the purchase, cuz I was so excited to play the game. A week later, I was fiddling around with my phone and looked up BA in the Marketplace. I had the option to buy it, but it wanted to charge my account again. From the game that was already on my phone, it wasn't showing as updatable AND I wasn't able to send a reinstall link from the website. This was forcing me to purchase the game a 2nd time if I wanted to reinstall it... all due to a small glitch.
So, I got on with a rep via chat, explained everything and had the email purchase confirmations to prove it. Rep had to call me to verify my account/identity. Great conversation, understood the problem, and provided a refund.
So... yes... if the circumstances are right, and a refund is warranted, then it can be obtained. Chat support has been very helpful both times I've used them.
Just curious: how much you evaluate your time? Hmm, spending so much time for $0.99 or even $2.99 is too expensive for me, for example

Yes a refund is possible! I was refunded already because I was charged twice by the same app I contacted Zune support and they emailed me in my language Portuguese and saw the problem and refunded me! I was refunded too once because I bought one app and now it's not anymore on marketplace its name is perfectscan i reseted my phone and wanted to install the app and couldn't because the app wasn't available anymore.

I purchased a game on my phone, got double billed (billed twice for the same game).
I just fired up a "Zune marketplace Chat support session". Explained what happened, refunded immediately!

No unfortunately not. Because, most apps and games come with trial mode. So you could try before you buy. However, for apps that don't offer trials modes, if the reviews and screenshots don't justify value of it, then I don't buy it.

Yea, sure hope this wasn't a common thing. Emailed support though. I don't recall seeing anything in the description about it being a UK version.
It doesn't affect too much on the layout, but it is a bit annoying. I'll post back if/when I get a response from them.

Well, I have good news. It would seem that they are accepting returns on the webtops with a UK keyboard. The email seems like it might be just a script/automated message, but it should work.

sup guys got mine today, using it now. Didn't even notice the keyboard thing till i saw this thread.(smh..it said it on the box) look like its a common thing. other than the "@" and "2" functions being switch around everything is good. i think i'm going to stick out and don't bother trying to get a exchange plus itook the stickers of already (feel like the uk version is probably the only one they have)
Yea, that's what worries me. Also, it's not going to be exactly cheap to send a box of that size that weighs 5 lbs. I think I'm going to reply back to them to make sure I'm not going to waste time & money on getting the same thing.

I will not do biz with these folks after dealing with them and also from reading all the probs other folks had with their service.
Yea, they gave me the same thing when I sent mine back. We can't guarantee that there are US keyboard ones in stock. Got a refund, and I don't think I will be ordering from them any time soon.
Just head to ebay or Amazon. Surely a few more dollars to guarantee a US keyboard is worth it. As for me, I'm going to hold off until webtop 3.0 comes to purchase a new one.

Oh you guys had me scared. I did end up getting a UK keyboard version, but that's just the labels on the keys. Shift + 2 still gets me @ instead of ", for example. So unless you intend to use the lapdock for learning how to type, it won't be a problem.

I have been looking and the only place I have found the back styleswap covers are on AliExpress.
I have had horrible experiences with them and almost never receive my items so I really don't want to order them.

I wanted to make sure it's not a scam site before I posted, but from what I've seen, it's either legit, or a really REALLY good scam. I've gotten an order number and order confirmation, I have confirmed that they are located(and ship from) Sunrise, FL here in the States. They have a 1-800 number, and while I didn't speak with any representatives, it does greet you with the company name and everything. The credit card statement also shows the same zip code and website, though with a different phone number. I submitted a question to their ZenDesk about shipment tracking info, but have not heard back yet. The other weird thing is it says the cover is an "iPartsBuy" cover, and iPartsBuy themselves claim to be out of stock. Maybe some kind of merger or inventory purchase? I managed to find the back covers for sale on Alibaba, and it even mentions them having NFC. Unlike the other listings on Alibaba these have a minimum order of 1 so you don't need to buy more than you need.
