NucleaROM add-ons...
[size=+2]Enable Fingerprint Homebutton/Wakeup Features...[/size]
I know some of you prefer the Fingerprint Homebutton feature over the Fingerprint Sleep feature (which is included in the ROM). So, for those users I have created a little something extra. Follow the steps below, and you'll be using your fingerprint sensor as a homebutton in no time!
[size=+1]** Note: The enabler zip in an add-on, which means you still need to flash the latest ROM update! You have been warned!! **[/size]
× Download the ROM zip, Enabler zip and reboot to TWRP
× Flash ROM zip
× Flash Enabler zip
× Flash Magisk zip (assuming you want root)
× Wipe caches (cache and dalvik/art cache)
× Reboot, ENJOY!
** [highlight]Remember[/highlight]: Flashing this zip replaces the boot.img (kernel), which means you [highlight]WILL NEED[/highlight] to flash Magisk again for root!

Ah it's an unofficial build with the LineageOS kernel. The official tag is because of some issue in the source.

I dig it!

So, @Jleeblanch has decided to take over this project. @MikeChannon kindly transfer the thread to him

Thanks guys!
Latest build (from me) and latest changlog for my build) can be found at the links below
There isn't much difference between my build and @twinlannister7 build, so a dirty flash should be fine ?

Changes include:
Latest June Security Patch
Android 7.1.2_r17
Latest sync with NucleaROM source
Currently the ROM includes the stock LOS kernel, expect that to change in the coming builds!
Enjoy ?

Thread has been updated with official NucleaROM xda thread template. I will update it more as needed with new screenshot, etc. Also, expect some good stuff in the near future!! The Nuclear Team bakes in their own Radioactive Kernel, as our device doesn't support that specific kernel, I will be baking in my Resurrected Kernel which will support some (if not all) of the features of the Radioactive kernel like Spectrum app support and some other goodies! So stay tuned

Nice!!! Congratulations @Jleeblanch

You deserve most of the credits my friend!! It is your ROM I'm building for this device

okay so i have a prob how do i enable root access with magisk on this rom? I did a clean flash....then after bootup which went fine I opened magisk from the settings menu and it comes up tells me to please install from playstore which it is not found on at the moment, so i went ahead uninstalled it then reinstalled the apk from the magisk page on xda now the magisk manager does open and shows that it is indeed rooted with magisk but to my dismay it shows rooted with magisk but no access any ideas?

too late for shots, however I just ran the uninstaller script for magisk and I am going to test the v13 and see if I can get it working or not...will let you know how it goes for sure. This was first time i ever had issue with it as well. I also while i am thinking about this wanted to ask someone does it matter on your rom or other custom roms for 6.0+ if you change system to rw or does that only affect moto g4 on stock rooted rom? I am curious as I prefer to run without using systemless is that possible yet or still a negative on marshmallow and nougat roms from any source on this device?
---------- Post added at 09:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 PM ----------
Okay to followup I was able to just uninstall magisk then do a reinstall with the latest beta bundle from magisk thread and v13 is working.
---------- Post added at 09:34 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:26 PM ----------
Actually i am glad I had that lil bug bc with the newer beta root explorer option passes and works in es file explorer now too, in last rom/magisk i was using that would always fail and I like being able to see file size and other properties that ES provides vs other root explorer apps not sure if it bc of your rom or the updated binaries but either way I am thrilled.

Nice to see Nuclearom on G4plus. @acuicultor and @OrdenKrieger are great devs :good: thanks @Jleeblanch
I hope the rom will be as good as with radioactive kernel

To prevent confusion, this isn't a "bug". Magisk was removed from the Play Store some weeks ago so users who had installed it from the PS originally, see this issue. You need to download Magisk Manager and simply install it over your current installation.
To properly install Magisk, all you need to do is follow the steps below.
Clean Install
> Backup in TWRP (optional but recommended)
> Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik
> Flash ROM.zip
> Flash GApps.zip
> Flash Magisk.zip
> Reboot
> Setup ROM. If you hadn't already downloaded Magisk Manager separately, do so now and install app (no need to uninstall anything or flash any uninstaller zips)
> Reboot again and check Root Status ?
---------------------------------------
Dirty Install
> Backup in TWRP (optional but recommended)
> Flash ROM.zip
> Flash Magisk.zip
> Wipe cache & dalvik
> Reboot
> If you haven't already downloaded Magisk Manager separately (from Magisk thread, do so now and install app (no need to uninstall anything or flash any uninstaller zips)
> Reboot again and check Root Status (not always necessary on a dirty flash)

I see you've already managed to get Magisk beta working, which is great. But for future reference, the quoted steps above are all that was needed to do ?

You're welcome! I plan to bake in a custom kernel which will enable the extra features the Nuclear Team ships with their builds [ROM + KERNEL] in hopes to make the most of this ROM for all of us to enjoy! You can expect to see that in the coming builds.

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM + Gapps Zipfile.
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every update (= ROM Update)
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and we are now based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the GZOSP team, if it concerns their code base. This ROM isn't GZOSP supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>

* Your warranty is now void.

* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please

If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash and reboot afterwards.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A. Check this out. If that doesn't work for you, ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just re-flash Magisk!
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the others section in the AICP Extras main page.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Pie.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure might vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 17.2 doesn't usually require to be flashed on every dirty flash. Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time. Unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
To be able to flash using the built-in OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
Please be sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery. Keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!

-whatsapp + instagram video playback issue fixed
-external sdcard with exfat filesystem fixed
-hotspot fixed (was broken with november ASB's)
*Screenshots added in second post.
Enjoy!
I uploaded a new build, because the 1111 build had some kernel related issues on mobile data on some circumstances. And I removed the OTA-Updater app.
Enjoy!
Hey Claymore,
Quick question on the 1111 build vs the new build. Finally made the jump yesterday from your AICP 13.1 to AICP 14.0 using your 1111 build. Noticed today that I wasn't receiving texts unless I restarted my phone, sometimes phone wasn't receiving calls, and dialer app wasn't hanging up after a call.
Might all these issues be resolved in today's build? Gonna give it a whirl shortly when I get a moment.
Thanks for your help!

the issue appears, when mobile data looses connection. So your descriprion could be a existing scenario.
My advice is to update to the latest build.
Phone and SMS working fine after install of latest build. Can't say that the new build was the cure, but working nonetheless.
Any info on the LED not turning on indicating the phone is charging? Haven't seen anything in this thread or the himaul thread (I monitor both).
#### New build is up!! ####
the build is containing mainly the following:
-more AICP-features like pulse, new brightness slider, new settings in builtin lauchner, cpuinfo and much more...
-switched to HW encryption
-DT2W
-builtin Equializer-app: MusicFX
IMPORTANT:
due a massive change in launcher-app "quickstep", you have to do one of those possibilities (if you are using the builtin launcher):
-clean flash
-remove quickstep before flash
You can remove system-apps in AICP-Extras with system-app remover, but this requires root!
Enjoy!
#### New build is up!! ####
the build is containing mainly the following:
-december ASB's
-Clock customizations
-Carrier label
-Battery styles
-new features in AICP-Themes
-re-added FlipFlap (usage of DotView-case)
Enjoy!
#### New build is up!! ####
the build is containing mainly the following:
-JamesDSP
-builtin Equalizer-app: DSPManager (replacement for MusicFX)
-weather-info on lockscreen
Enjoy!
### for those of you, who want to test a build, which has something included that will come... ###
the build is containing mainly the following:
on deviceside:
- solved bluetooth-issue (in most cases)
- patched some kernel-CVE's
- kernel patched against spectre
- audio stuttering is gone now *
- elementalx-CPU governor - all credits go to @flar2
- fastcharge enabled by default
- FIOPS IO-Scheduler
- kicked out core_ctl (is caused our audio stuttering *)
- all 8 core are online and per default all core are underclocked (A53 to 1,34Ghz and A57 to 1,25GHz) to increase batterylife
AICP-functionalities:
- approved CPUinfo
- lockscreen virtualizer
- App circle bar
- Lockscreen visualizer
- Headsup blacklists
- Chooser activity blacklists
- Pulse blacklists
- Bring back weather on keyguard
- Increasing ring
- Device hostname
- 4G instead of LTE
- Quick unlock
...
First tests showed even in gaming better results with less throtteling and less heatup and the system is running smooth and without issues...
btw. our kernel has now the possibility to overclock.
With a kernel-configuration-tool you can overlock the cores (A53 up to 1,71Ghz and A57 2,05Ghz) (this might be useful, if you want to heat up your house or cause a thermo-nuclear war )
Enjoy & happy new year!
New build is up!!

Hi
My device is himawhl (Sprint)
I installed the himawl (Verizon) aicp 14 and I'm having performance issues.
When I play PUBG the big cores max out at 960mhz and after some time 3 big cores are shut down and the game becomes unplayable.
I tried ex kernel manager, I can't change the frequency to 1555mhz, it just gets reset to 960mhz.
Can anybody tell me how to fix this issue?
New build is up!!
the build is containing mainly the following:
- februar ASB's
- call record
- latest DTS-Eagle kernel impl by @LazerL0rd
- Font engine
- updated stats opt-in (please do in AE, About, Statistics)
- and lots more
Enjoy!

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels officially?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP. Custom ROMs modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROMs. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet released for Pie, however you can try to use edxposed .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot" as the destination, then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.

Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?

It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.

How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.

6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.

9. Reboot your device.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk canary
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!

We are introducing in Android 10 a vendor partitionon hima. So please follow the OP and install the linked TWRP, til @Captain_Throwback will release a official version.
So hima is not treble, but has a smell of treble
Also please note, that android Q introduces System-As-Root (SAR), so flashing GAPPS will only work properly with the linked TWRP.
There is also a GAPPS linked that will work with Q until official GAPPS are released.

Joined the XDA forums just to say Thanks! Thank you guys very much for your hard work, I've flashed this rom and finally after dealing with me being lazy about my firmware, have it running. I'm not quite sure if I'm rooted correctly or not however. I do get some options in the Aicp Extras app but nothing under system. I don't have any extra apps after flashing.
But thanks very much and will be happy to report anything that goes wrong I'll be using this daily.

settings-app is more or less pure AOSP - AICP-Extras will be filled in the next months
Just an update for myself using this rom. I have experienced gps issues as I use google maps. I did attempt to navigate with maps and my location stayed static even after several attempts. It does also take a bit for it to lock on if its unable to use wifi to assist it. When i was out walking it would bounce me all over the city block.
So not sure if this is just me or what. But if there is something data wise i can provide i can do so.
Addition: So listening to audio through the headphone jack I am experiencing definit audio issues. Any audio that plays has millisecond drops in audio. It does not matter the app. I feel like its the cpu maxing out. Bluetooth is just fine.

A. Information about Xposed, EdXposed or Riru Core can be obtained from the XPosed General forums .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, this is the usual behaviour on flashing a new official build by (or using) the build-in updater service.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Q. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
$ adb reboot bootloader
$ fastboot -w (this will wipe your data)
$ fastboot reboot fastboot
$ fastboot update aicp_hotdog_q-15.0-EXPERIMENTAL-*-gms.zip
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
How to flash updates:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
Use the built-in updater using local zip file.
After you flashed aicp_hotdog_q-15.0-UNOFFICIAL-20200924.zip (or never) you should be able to receive OTA's with the updater like a official build
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on AvB Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 20.3 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.

1. qs tile icons are not aligned correctly, they are more positioned on the center, not wide like on stock
2. no 90hz option
3. statusbar header is like brick. need to be transparent like on stock
other than this rom is great keep up the good work!

The tiles use independent calculations. That is why the space care a bit mixed. And that would be a Rom wide change.
Usb access problem can be confirmed. We are looking into it. :good:

With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device specific repositories.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out, if it concerns our code base. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!
Code:

A. Information about Xposed, EdXposed or Riru Core can be obtained from the XPosed General forums .
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the flashing instructions...
Q. How can I 'dirty flash' builds?
A. Wipe Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps, your preferred root solution and reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A. Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat AND the model name. (Note: Please just link the logcat from del.dog, gist.github, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.)
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Q. You don't need to install any addons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing from another ROM and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior (feel free to ask before bricking!! )
How to flash for the first time:
1. Download the ROM and GApps package (optional) and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (PBRP recommended).
3. Wipe Cache, and Data (you might need to format data partition!).
4. Reboot to recovery again.
5. Flash xiaomi.eu (v12.0.7.0 is strongly recommended).
6. Flash ROM.
7. Flash GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore or Google Camera to work).
8. Flash Magisk (optional as well).
9. Format data and cache partitions again.
10. Reboot and set up your device (realize that first boot might take longer than usual).
11. Enjoy!
AICP has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!

That happens sometimes when dynamic partitions has been updated and can't be mounted again, but you shouldn't worry about that. Just reboot to recovery and then you will be able to mount /system partition as always.
Besides, looks what says at the top of the screen: "Install zip succesfully"
New stable build is up!
Changelog 13-10-2020:
- October 2020's security patch.
- Added ANXCamera (Xiaomi's camera port), prebuilt (and obviously drop LOS snap camera).
- Device specific settings were renamed as XiaomiParts and moved from System to Display section in Settings.
- DT2W is partially working (only when AOD [Always On Display] is enabled).
- Removed multicolor LED settings (as we only have white one).
- Add LiveDisplay support.
- Optimize Wi-Fi 802.11r connections.
- Attempt to fix fast charge info in lockscreen.
- SafetyNet and Google verification now passes succesfully.
- Pixel charging animation while the phone is turned off.
- Add libthermal and libplatformconfig modules.
- Enable auxiliar camera lens to ANXCamera and all GCams.
- Use stock cameraservice and camera HALs.
- Increase number of icons in status bar (we don't have notch, so this limit is useless).
- Decrease status bar weight.
Full device tree details: https://github.com/Redmi-K30-5G/device_xiaomi_picasso
(I haven't updated prebuilt kernel as 12.0.6.0 version seems to have draining issues, so I'll stay in 12.0.5.0 kernel).

How to upgrade:
Dirty flash should be enough (if you face weird issues/bootloop, then try a clean flash before reporting!).
Dirty flash:
1. Reboot to recovery (PBRP recommended )
2. Flash ROM.
3. Flash GApps (if you had).
4. Flash Magisk (optional, as always).
5. Wipe data and cache.
6. Reboot to system.
If you face any flash error and the ROM doesn't install succesfully, take recovery.log and send here.
Enough of works, hope you enjoy this new safe, snappy and cold build!!

True, I've just seen that; when I hide the navigation bar in AICP settings, the back gesture disappears and is not available (but the home and recents gestures work though...).
Nevertheless, you can go to Settings/System/Gestures/System Navigation/Full gesture navigation (or something like that, sorry I have the ROM in my native language and not in English).
Click on the settings icon on the right side of the Full gesture navigation option, and there you will be able to hide the pill and maintain the other gestures

Deep sleep works, but notch can't be totally hidden for now. You can only remove the black space between the frontal cameras in Display < XiaomiParts.

Ok, i will wait for the notch hidden completly on this ROM (like yours CRDroid) to try it. The problem on this CRDroid is that do not enter into deep sleep mode, but both are a good work.
