SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

Only AOSP level support obviously, but no extended.

Was a bit shocked to see the lock icon on the old threads in my CP, but glad to see that's because of progress, with the official alpha

Dirty flashed over SlimYAOSP, installed UBER-Kernel and all is running fine Layers is also working. Can't wait to see more features implemented.

Not sure if that is the best idea, tbh
Layers work, but level 2 layers stuff will not, so you might see white on white or black on black...

I'm sorry to be that guy, but what Gapps would work with this? I tried Open Gapps but they crashed constantly. I didn't see any mention of gapps anywhere in the FAQ or instructions.

Just out of curiosity, did you flash the ROM and GApps in the same TWRP session?
As of MM, both must be done at the same time, as permissions are set during the first system boot only.

Ah, that is my mistake. I booted first to see if gapps were included and then went back and tried to install the gapps. Now I flashed rom and then dankoman's discontinued slim gapps and so far I haven't had a force close error.

flashed and everything is fine. Customization similar to AICP (not yet complete as in MM, i.e. no system animation).
It is smooth, testing battery right now (idle).

A couple of hours on Pandora w headphones and no crackling and fps working well. Great job everyone involved!

Very solid performance, on par with @gopinaidu77 's Cosmic OS. FP scanner works better than on his ROM, but this one is less customizable... So I'll have to decide what's more important

Both will be fixed or edited in the future on both roms, so difficult choice yes

I use ums universal in all custom roms & works perfectly.

Works Nice. Everything there except for me:
1/ system animation
2/ in aosp keyboard, there is no side arrow to move left or right on letters.
Otherwise, awesome. Seems smooth and fine.[emoji106]

Hey guys, I am back with an all new app. Present in most ROMs and sweet in features. This is OmniSwitch
OmniSwitch is a customizable and feature-rich recents replacement for Android. It comes by default built-in on some ROMs namely Resurrection Remix and Omni Roms. Without the ROM you cannot completely replace your recents but you can get a quick swipe action.
OmniSwitch also has a minimalistic built in launcher with it. It's simple and has no customization options or feature. Might not be for the Nova user but probably works for people who would like a quick phone.

Guess that one is ROM specific. Moreover, if you have experience, you can cherry-pick it and integrate it into your ROM

does it has 3G only and 4G only mode ? for data connections ? i had tried many nougat roms and they all lag this feature no developer so far ale to fix it. even with slight distraction sim networks changes back to 2G. not cool

well my friend, i had just tested your ROM. first of all this ROM is butter smooth and quite user friendly but as i discussed problem earlier. The BUG remains -
i had BSNL sim in slot 2 and it has no option available to switch to 3G only mode, even though i had tried with Engineering mode. unfortunately this bug continues in all android 7 ROMs however n leeco official rom i can switch to 3G only mode for both the slots but not in these roms. i had only control with Slot 1 sim but no control on Slot 2............with slight distraction in network 3G changes to 2G.

Tap the 3 dots on the top right, go to presets and tap on update channel

Yes, notifications get tinted as well. For third party apps you need to enable dark themes in the respective settings

Really like the ROM. Camera working well.

Thx for the positive comments.
I have to correct myself on the dt2w issue though... As it happens quite often in Telegram chats, I only read half the story. Offain's commits to the kernel enable dt2w on devices with a certain panel. Others built with a different panel won't work. Please test yourself and see.

I have the goodix panel that works but D2TW is only working about half the time other than that the rom is smooth and fluid. Really well done. But I do have an issue and I dont think its with the rom. Everytime I install magisk and install modules the UI starts to lag and apps take too long to open or dont open at all. As soon as i uninstall magisk everything works fine. Any ideas? I've had the same thing happen to me on RR as well.

Same to RR, and random bootloop when install some module.... Magisk problem..

Seems to be the problem. Just downgraded to magisk 18.1 and everything seems fine.

Gentlemen, give it all, it will be the best rom for Daisy!

Loved the rom. It works smoothly almost no bugs (d2tw works, but the screen on the locked device cannot be turned on) From the add-ons I would like to add a flashlight function on the power button. Thank you)
