Installation
- Make a (Nandroid) Backup of your current ROM
- Full WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + wipe dalvik cache)
- Select ROM from sdcard
- Install ROM
- After flashing, reboot device (First reboot will take a while)
- Enjoy CypherOS on your device!

I have created this thread because @prakharluv wont allowing me post an update there and he too wont getting any time to update the rom and there bugs in device trees after v3.6.3 and the rom was not compiling so i fixed the trees and compiled the rom and now it has no bugs and ready to use as a daily driver...i tried my best to fix it everything in the rom but if you found any bugs and any problem then please let me know i will try to fix them...i will be regularly providing the updates for it to...

Woahhh...u r so rude and stubborn dude!!! I asked questions like normal guys do...u were telling u have update of other developers ROM??? And for ur info I dun need ur update..I have official developer supported Roms and they dun behave unprofessional stay happy with ur so called development. We have plenty of choices here..lineage, xenon,xosp, Aicp,aosp,slim,mokee,etc etc and many more are coming on the way.I m socked by ur behavior ..No doubt why Prakharluv bro removed u..thanks for kind response ...I dun need ur rom

Don't worry, I will update my ROMs soon and I am not going to share my work with any ROM muggers (who don't know how to behave to others Devs)
And one more thing there's no point of removing Mr. Govind from my project because I never worked with him and he was never part of any of projects ? lol.

Mr I develop on my own and I won't work with bsc or msc students...rest if u don't need update it's good for me...I will compile fr me and post screenshot as soon as it's done...I won't steal anyone's work....go Jenkins3.legacyserver.in u will get all answers...and regarding reporting do as much as u can...I don't care for that...and regarding development I would like to tell u I m an intern at Google in api design...so plz don't say all that

I think this will clear that I won't steal anyone'swork...that's my server dude...see I build on legacy server that is scorpion and compile on Jenkins not steal the work of others...so I think everything is clear...so it's better to see this before sying against me

tried to get your rom to work, wiped system, data, caches (as usual) flashed the rom and after a surprisingly short booting time ... there we go, CM13 booted up!
wifi was good but no sim detected. ui feels nice and fluid, no glitches at all. then i decided to install open gapps 6.0 but it killed it completely. "setup has stopped working" alternated with "google play service has stopped working". it was not possible to get any access to the phone from there.
i reflashed rom and did a logcat (i hope) (without open gapps of course, screenshot shows exact gapps version i tried).

i dont think so, it must be possible to use cm13 without gapps. and when i deceide to use gapps i flash them at any time i want without reflashing the whole rom ...
and i tried that method you mentioned but still got the same problem, open gapps 6.0 just don't work for me.

We have plenty of testers we need developers who have time Rox and Nikola don't
Users are left to test after having a stable release from the developers so they can find minor bug not major ones

well old friends are always missed klozz....
what a fantastic ROM! I was on Resurrection Remix, and gave this a try, this is even more fluid and battery back up is much better......I also tried AICP but i couldn't fix the random screen off issue though
I have two questions, if someone can help:
1. How do I get "Screenshot" in Quick tiles? The + button does not have it as an option to add to existing tiles, I often use it and sorely miss it. I tried using Gravity Box but that seems to screw up aesthetics as well as conflict the selection options.
2. How do I uninstall system apps? (Exchange services etc) I cannot seem to find it in the Settings menu anywhere and TB fails to uninstall (they all come back after a reboot!)
All in all, am sticking with this ROM anyway! Best I've used so far, but for these two minor quirks I have
Small bug: Ringtone and Notification volume are always linked, in spite of deselection the option to link

All the ROMs based on CM carry the same issues/bugs that exist in CM. FP doesn't work in CM, it won't work there as well.
I was having issues with the CM 13.0 build because of connectivity. Mobile data was very bad, speed and availability wise. I tried all the suggestions in the thread but nothing helped. I flashed this ROM last night and it felt just as smooth as the CM 13.0 compared to the horrible performance of the stock ROM (I was running B140 Debloated on KIW-L21). I am now sitting in the train on my commute to work and I have to say: speed and reception of mobile data is awesome!
Thank you so much for working on this! When this is running stable I do not see a reason to switch to another ROM. Great work!
is anyone else having Wi-Fi auto connect/disconnect issues? Each time I have to manually select the Wifi network to connect to Also, the signal strength always seems to be showing one or two bars (in Wi-Fi) even if the router next to the phone!
Well here is the feedback !.... The clock is not visible ! Its white in color and I can't see any text over it !
2nd whenever there is data switching between 3g to 2g networks the phone network disconnect itself. This was not an issue with the stock ROM. (Maybe issue with our sim telephony at cm device trees)
3rd whenever yo go into 4g area ! Phone does not show 4G symbol. Whenever I switch back to 3g it shows h+ icon . I have attached the screen shot in which there is no 4g symbol in which tiles Re down !

I've been working on a AOSP-CAF version for kiwi. This is started from kernel and device tree by @crpalmer & @BadDaemon aka Micheal W so thanks a lot to them for the bringup. I've just modified it to work with AOSP. This is pure AOSP and no more features will be added, so kindly Don't request it.
This version is nearly stable. DUAL SIM works .Still, Flash this at your own risk.

Layers do NOT work on ROMs with the CM theme engine
Make a nandroid backup in TWRP recovery before making any modifications so you can restore it if you run into issues.
It's assumed in this community that users understand the basics of root and how to recover their devices if they run into problems, we're not responsible for anything you do.s
LAYERS ON STOCK NEXUS AOSP MM
1. Install TWRP, make a backup.
2. Root
3. Uninstall some Google apps from the system partition to make room on the system partition for Layers. (Can be reinstalled from play store)
The system partition is different from the userdata partition so while you may have 40gb free on a 64gb device, it doesn't matter, it's a different partition. Uninstall them via a root file manager at system/app or use titanium backup or another system app removal app.
4. Install BusyBox
MUST BE INSTALLED TO /SYSTEM/XBIN
5. Install Layers Manager

HOW TO MANUALLY REMOVE LAYERS
Use a root File Manager Navigate to system/ vendor/ overlays and delete the layers in the overlays folder.
In TWRP In case of bootloop, go to Mounts in TWRP & check System then go to the Advanced tab & use the File Manager to delete Layers from system/vendor/overlays.
For the 6p, 5x & N9 users, check Vendor in Mounts, then go to /vendor/overlays as the overlays folder is not in /system on those devices.
APP OR THEME STOPS WORKING AFTER UPDATING THE APP
Uninstall the affected app layer

PLAY STORE ERROR 504/ 505
The fix is the same for both errors, uninstall and reinstall the Manager or theme.
Error 504 means the app was installed by the user via the play store, uninstall and reinstall.
Error 505 means the app is preinstalled as a system app and must be uninstalled via a root file manager at system / priv-app/ , or with titanium backup or another system app removal app.
CHANGING ICONS
Icon support was added & temporarily removed in beta, use a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex for now.
CHANGING FONT WITH LAYERS

Layers are officially supported on Layers compatible Lollipop custom ROMs with all Layers commits. Stock AOSP and custom layers compatible Marshmallow ROMs are also supported.

TWRP gives me no OS installed error after flashing rom.

well thank you too , falcon devs are here because i was a falcon user since its launch . i was very greatful to them using their roms since android 4.4 . When i do remember or see a thread with Aosp , first thing i hear in my mind is " oh its there in Moto G Android Development" thread . I should atleast thank them here with utmost respect
and i made it atlast , because yuweng was there behind me helping everywhere .

When i saw crpalmer got cm-12.1 working on 5x, i was still reluctant to get it at that time... When he booted cm-13.0 & BadDaemon jumps on board of development, i know it would be easy for me, as mentioned on all of my threads, all these ROMs wouldn't be here if not for the rock-solid device tree so HUGE Credit to both of them... :good:
this is awesome. would you mind sharing which edits you had to make to get it to compile? i'd like to do a CAF build for the huawei GX8. i haven't been able to figure it out.

I think he means you need to be on stock MM firmware before flashing. If you have been using CM 13/14 then you can flash this without errors.

Yes, All the ROMs having 7.1.1 has battery draining issues. If you want better battery backup switch to 6.0
I see OctOS, AICP, AOKP has some little bit good battery...
The battery issue on 7.1 will improve in the future?

I'm using this ROM since past one month and continuing the same.. I hope we get new features soon in the updates. I don't have VoLTE SIM so don't know about working/non-working can you confirm the same .. As one of my frd want to flash this ROM and asking for VoLTE support !!!!

Some themes gets overlapping so can't see the result quickly .. I have to un-install previous theme and need to re start the phone to apply.

i think u must not release this build bcz its really buggy and no one will use it...so its release will no longer put any difference to have oreo on Z00L.not fighting but just saying....no use of this build...peace out...:angel:

I already have a build with camera broken only...but i wont released the build bcz i was working on camera fix...and i think u dont knw i was maintaining the nougat version of this rom...
