This works really well. Anyway to use it to imitate scrolling? It'd be great to be able to scroll up and down in apps using the sensor.

Do you know if this type of App is available for Android N?

Sayin my pixel is not compatible on playstote?

Not on O yet; can't test myself. Would this allow you to take a photo without having the Camera app open (say, stock on Pixel, or any other that might allow this)?
Might be nice to take quick snaps without actually opening the camera app or the display/viewfinder.

Looks awesome, works well on Moto360... would be nice to be able to change the background picture.

Perfect app once I can pick/make my own watch face.

Wait a second, if this is not a glitch then sweet. I selected Apollo as my face to play with it, then went back to my usual watch face, the Apollo launcher function is on top of my other face. Best of both worlds!!!!!!!!

update
I haven't gotten the update this morning yet, but do agree this is a fantastic launcher.
At the moment I'm still not able to use Microsoft Analog Keyboard consistently yet, it works sometimes and sometimes not. I did notice on one of the updates that the battery percentage level disappeared from the battery icon in the Quick Launch Bar.
Even though some of the icons get cut off I do think on the Moto 360 an option to not have the icons along the left edge change size would be nice, just like how they would work on a square screen.
I also think a "reboot" option in the settings halfway shortcut would be great too.
Again, great work dev!

I use WeatherTime, a paid watch face for Moto 360. Can I use that watch face instead of this built-in one?

I think so. I use WatchMaker Premium (paid) and this is like an overlay so I would guess it works with WeatherTime.

To provide that permission. Just pull down your notification shade down to the quick tiles and hit the gear icon. Once in the settings menu; click the magnify glass and search for "permissions", then click the option "App Permissions". Under the "Advanced" header you will see the menu "Draw over other apps"; find the app in question under there and provide it the required permission.

Also, this app doesn't seem to fully support the N5X either. Seems like we can only really use this if you're on speaker phone and that doesn't seem like it would provide very good quality.

Double tap to wake has never been on this phone, nougat or oreo, unless you run androplus kernel.
That's because it is a kernel feature rather than an OS one.
Screen video capture, not sure, never seen nor used it, but there's apps for that.

Sony used to have a built-in screen capture app but they got rid of it for some reason. Im super annoyed that theres no double tap to wake though. Thats like a step down from my Z2.

I thought id take a look through this app called privset and I noticed theres a set double tap to wake option. I wonder if it works because its current value is false. The app does require root but I know that some root apps can be used with write secure settings granted through adb on non root devices. I wonder if this could work.

Pie control?

Does anyone know of any module that is similar to the quick app edge swipe thingy that the s8 has? Also, are there any mods to change tnt ugly charging screen when the phone is off?
Any tips help
Lmt launcher https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

There is literally an app called "Pie Control" on the Play store that works extremely well.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jun.ace.piecontrol&hl=en
I edited my build.prop to disable the built in nav bar and have been using Pie Control exclusively since I got my phone over 2 months ago. It's been flawless in daily use. I highly recommend it.

I've tried both LMT and the Pie controls app. I prefer LMT because there is more customization especially with the icons. I have made my pie control entirely transparent so now it just looks like I'm doing gestures to navigate my phone. As far as the app side bar thing the OP is asking for, you could make something similar to that using either Pie controls or LMT by making the buttons of the Pie open specific apps. It would not be straight like the samsung one though, it would be curved like the pie controls normally are.
An alternative I would suggest is using the Edgesense+ magisk module (the thread is somewhere in this Pixel 2 XL forum) which allows you to remap the squeeze feature of this phone and you can remap it to open a sidebar.

Edge Sense is perfect.
Is the LMT also able to have multiple rows like Pie Control? I looked at some screenshots and videos but only ever seen one row. @t0pstar

I said that badly, I meant additional rows.
See my current set up with Pie Control.

Double Tap quickly turning off screen after tapping

When I double tap the screen it gets on but it also quickly gets off even before face unlocking the screen.
Specs :-
Android Q [10]
Rom MiUi 12 [IN-Stock]
Launcher Microsoft Launcher
Root - NO
Bootloader - NO
Try using the Double Tap app. You can adjust it's tap parameters. 2x tap on/off.
Runs flawlessly on Pie and Q.

Why? Double Tap needs no internet connection, freeware, uses almost zero battery... a perfect app. I use in in preference to my Samsung double tap option because it works better.

It's not the matter of resources, I generally prefer to use built-in options because they will be better optimised, trusted. The problem might be in proximity sensor because while making a call it automatically turns-off the screen. Intially I thought screen on sensor might be dirty but after cleaning the results are same.

I use whatever comes in handy.
You can firewall block this app if you want but it doesn't matter, in over a year it's never tried to access the internet. It doesn't even use enough battery to register usage. I don't have a screen lock so no permissions are needed, otherwise it needs to run as a System Administrator.
