The Honor 9 comes with a clear plastic case for your phone. I always like when phone manufacturers do this. It's nice to see them take a small extra step to make sure your phone is protected. It's not the highest quality case in the world but it's not bad at all. Here are some pictures of it.

I've bought an honor yesterday and I've found the same cover inside the box
I like too. But this case is solid and slide easily on hands or table.
I'd rather like a gel one. Founded on Amazon
I wish they did the same with Honor 8.
Be careful with the stock cover, it has pretty sharp edges and i think it may be able to scratch the edges!
I've seen on almost every review they include directly on the package. At least when buying from Honor's store.
It's a hard cover, I like more gel ones.

When I bought Honor 5X, a hard plastic case was included. Seems mediocre and easy to break. But here in Honor 9 it looks softer and better.

Well the device is relatively new.
The plastic case breaks after 2 days and does not fit good. I ordered another one at Amazon for 7€. Fits much better and does not break because it is made out of silicone, not plastic

Had the same buying it in France (Darty), it's not the best, but the effort is really good, I like it.
You can buy on Amazon some tempered glass protection for 6 ou 7$, and it gives some good basic protection for your phone.
Same that the case doesn't cover the sides too.

I once sold a brand new Honor 5X. It came to me sealed. I opened it for demonstration purposes and there was no case inside. Neither are earphones.

You don't normally get a headset with Honor devices. But you should have received a free case with it.

I was a backer on their Kickstarter campaign and decided to try it out for my Z1. I used the mark 1 version and i was good but it had issues with it getting dented. I then received a free mark 2 and used it on my nexus 7 2013. I really like it much improved. I had used it on my Xperia Z but then when I got my Z1 they didn't have yet. I got an email saying that since I was a backer I get 25% off so I decided to try it out. It comes with a front and back protector or just the front.
I have been using tempered glass protectors for a awhile but today I knocked my phone when putting down my beer. I chipped the side of the tempered glass protector. This was a perfect time to try out the Rhino shield. I must say first impressions are great. It has a nice smooth feel and one important benefit is it won't chip or crack. With My nexus 7 it has held up well against scratches but only time will tell.

Ya it's got all the cutouts. It's been really nice so far. No Complaints. I haven't test banging a hammer against it like the video shows but it definitely is way different than the standard plastic film you buy. I had them on nexus 4 and it survived a couple of drops, it's been on my nexus 7 for 5 months and held up great.

Easier than the cheap ones but still need to be dust free. I have install so many over the years that I have gotten pretty good at it. I always steam up the bath room and clean the screen with an alcohol wipe. To make sure I always give it a blast with compressed air right before i place it on.

I took it off a while ago. I don't see any issues applying it over top though.

If your dock came with the two spacers then it should fit. I have a ebay dock that came with two spacers and mine fit in the dock just fine but you need to use the larger of the two spacers.

Yes, I got the larger one but that one is for the phone with case, for the screen protectors is too big. The phone will dance inside with that one.
It fits nicely with them on remember it's front and back protector the I have on so it adds about 6mm of thickness

To be honest, I am happy with the GEARMAXX screen protector I got (front and back) which cost me $12 including p&p. From experience and reading the reviews of others, there isnt much between a GEARMAXX and a Rhino aside from the price...Rhino sells for about $25 (see here). I did have to wait longer for it as it comes from Hong Kong but it was totally worth the wait. Here it is a pic of mine when it arrived

I have both the Gearmaxx and Rhino, the Rhino's major advantages is the anti fingerprint coating and it's ability to absorb some impact. It is also 95% transparent which is very impressive. It also has a much nicer smoother feel that the gearmaxx. The Gearmaxx is better than the cheap PET and less than half the price of the rhino. I can do a side by side comparison if people are interested. I am also planning on doing a couple tests to see how much impact the rhino shield can take.

Ummm, it feels cheap, it covers the notification light as mentioned and it doesn't look as good as the photo's. I imagine that a similar case from a Chinese trader on eBay would cost £5 - 8

It sounds like it's on-par with the ones that came free with the Oppo Find 5, I replaced mine with a Nillkin.
As yet I'm not seeing any promising flip cases for the One, which is a worry as it should be here within the week and typically it takes several weeks to get a case shipped.

One thing that vendors should say about their flip covers is if it turns off/on the phone when we close/open it.

I just want to share with you some impressions about my "balolo" wood cover, which I received about 5 weeks ago.
When I got my Xperia Z3 Compact last year I instantly bought a case in the first few days. But I must say that I prefer to hold my device "naked" in my hands without any disturbing material around the edges. A friend of mine told me to have a look on the products of "balolo".
I ordered a genuine wood cover and engraved it with a picture of me and my girlfriend. In the first two oder three days the cover was smelling like wood (what should be quite normal for a product made out of genuine wood). The quality of the (walnut) wood is very good and also the engraving looks perfect.
But the best thing about it was the price: 29€ for something I expected to cost a least twice of it! After 5 weeks of using it I can´t say anything negative about it (except you don´t like the wood smell in the first days), so from my point of view a clearly recommendation!!

The fit is awesome and the feel is much better than with glass. Although it is genuine wood the cover is not slippery at all! And I like the promise that balolo plants a tree for buying a product !

It sticks onto the back of the phone with a 3M peel-off sticky backing. It's not really a case, more a textured back covering the glass. It won't provide any protection to the sides or front (although I believe you can get a front glass protector with it too - but I suspect that is much like any other stick on screen protector).
I was a little disappointed with this when it arrived, but actually found it looked good, and I could still used the Ringke Fusion case on top to provide some more substantial protection to the phone itself. Actually, the Fusion case fits even better with the relatively thin wooden backing on the phone.
Here's mine. I didn't realize it was just a sticker for the back either, but it looks great without adding thickness to the sides of the phone. I think I'll keep it on.
The only drawback is how it adds an edge around the back. Its not a sharp edge, but you can definitely feel it while holding the phone.

A lot of people aren't looking for big cases to protect against huge damage. 1) I'm very careful 2) my credit card company provides free insurance with a $25 deductible so long as the monthly plan is paid on that card. 3) on T-Mobile jump on demand, when you turn the phone in, it doesn't have to be in mint condition 4) the G6 in particular is very durable, having passed some military testing and a recent video showed it going through a washing machine undamaged
All that being said, I'm just interested in giving it some extra grip and protection against minor scratches and bumps/dings. I'll also use a clear skin but those tend to peel off over time

I have this one saved in my amazon cart. There are a few others as well... I'll link in a min.
We have ordered the Spigen ultra clear case, have had them on our note 5's and s7 edges, and they are VERY thin, but have saved our phones when dropped a few times face down, and on the edges. I get the cases in today, the exact day my phone is arriving also. makes me happy!

Doesn't seem to be as thin as the Bear case. And for me, I truly hate TPU. Feels and looks like those damn jellies girls use to wear on their feet.

I've been using them on all my phone for the last 4 years very thin and don't feel like a jell.I don't use teddy bear cases sorry.

Jellies are a soft plastic Sandle. Similar feel as TPU. Just not for me.

I saw that Spigen had cases but they are backordered until October 12 and I get my S20 FE tomorrow from T-Mobile....SIGH....
Also I am not too trusting to order from Chinese websites for cases and screen protectors....
I usually order from www.sunsky-online.com as it delivers to Australia within 5-7 business days at reasonable cost of A$7-8, however, so far nothing to my liking is yet available on this website too. Will keep an eye though.
If you are in the United States and you want a case for your S20 FE real fast and quick your local T-Mobile stores have cases in stock right now. I just got a Tech 21 case for my S20 FE today and it only cost me $30 and I will hold on to that until other case makers get their cases out in mid-to-late October....
Remember that this phone comes with Gorilla Glass 3...which is very scratch resistant (which I prefer) BUT it is also more brittle and will break more easily if you drop the phone...therefore I would certainly recommend a tempered glass screen protector as being far more important than a case right now, especially since the body of the phone is already plastic and will be able to endure a drop without a case. My $0.02
I am waiting for mous to come out with their new phones. Spigen has already said they will only have two cases available that are back ordered.
I ordered my Spigen Rugged Armor case a few days ago (from their website directly) and it'll be here on Saturday. My phone came in yesterday...I hate carrying around a naked phone!!

Meant to say *hate carrying it naked, in my previous comment. For never really carrying a phone around w/out a case, I think it's fine. I still have the temporary plastic on the front and back, so it's a bit slick right now...haha!

Haha that must feel awkward... Protect that phone only a few more days
I've had luck with RhinoShield cases. No breaks ever using their bumper cases on 3 different phones, including one time I dropped my pixel 2 from a bicycle and another bike went over it. At this moment, they are are in notification stage
