I think you mean "Verizon"? If so, then the answer is NO, you can't.
Verizon is a CDMA network, and that is not supported by the Euro M8 version hardware. You can't get the Euro M8 working on Verizon, it's not possible.

I know that converting the HTC One (M8) to GPE for Verizon is said to be a no-no, because it doesn't work with the CDMA radio. My question is, I'm getting ready to switch carriers to AT&T, and was wondering, since I don't need CDMA, does this work? Has anybody tried? I'm looking to do this only if I can keep the stock bootloader, so I can receive OTA updates. Also, I'm wondering if this will let me use the correct combination of LTE bands to use LTE data on AT&T.

im planning to buy htc m8 from a guy, the phone has verizon brand on it and the question is: is there any difference between the international m8 and verizon one? and can i flash the official's one rom on the verizon's one? and in general, is there any hardware or sofware difference?
The Verizon and Sprint models are different hardware, due to the CDMA (plus GSM) radio. All the GSM versions of the M8 are essentially the same hardware, but the CDMA versions are the exception. Trying to flash GSM software onto the Verizon version won't work, and might even brick the phone. I'd stay away from the Verizon version, unless you happen to need CDMA (not likely in most parts of the world outside the US).

I'm wondering if anyone has had any success (or has even tried) unlocking LTE band 1 in a US model. I ordered an M9 but I am hoping to be able to unlock Band 1 to use it in Asia when I travel there.
I know there is a thread and people had some success adding bands to the M8, so just wondering if it'd work with the M9.

As far as I know, not possible on the M8 or M9. Where in that thread is the M8 referenced?

Yes I believe that hack requires access to a menu found only on the CDMA menus.
I see. That's too bad. I wonder why they wouldn't just include Band 1 like so many other companies do.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no but I thought I'd just get confirmation. Does the HTC 10 from T-mobile have any CDMA bands? Like to use it on Verizon? I'm getting a T-mobile one from a special program but I'm on Verizon, if not I'm sure my girlfriend will be happy with her new HTC 10.

The T-Mobile variant will work fine on verizon if you pay for the s-off through sunshine and then follow this guide to convert it to verzion

You sure this will allow it to work on Verizon? Can anyone else confirm that the CDMA bands are indeed present?
My phone fully supports LTE,even the sim card i use is 4G compatible,but somehow i'm not able to use it.And yes,i'm in LTE covering area.Any ideas?
Was LTE working for you before?
What I recommend first is to try your sim on another lte capable phone and/or sim with working lte on your phone

How do you know this? There is no M8 version that supports all LTE bands in all regions.Every M8 version supports different LTE bands, based on the region/version (carrier ID).
In particular, if you are using an M8 version intended for another region, it may be difficult of impossible to make it work on LTE on your local carrier's network.

My M8 is T-MOB version.Maybe ,,transforming" to EU can fix that?

What OS number in bootloader? Does it say s-of or s-off in bootloader?
Assuming it is T-Mob US (which would be more common than T-Mob Europe): As I already said, making LTE work on a device that is intended for another region can be difficult, or even impossible. You would need s-off to "convert" it to EU. S-off (if it isn't already) can only be achieved with sunshine, which costs $25. And it may be money wasted, since a lot of times, we've seen when the M8 is converted to another version, LTE will still not connect to the local carrier's network.

I'm S-Off(written the same way in bootloader).So at least it's worth a shot.
